It was good as far as the list of items to visit and see. However, it was difficult getting through the large number of people and getting time to take enough pictures and of course it was difficult to get good shots of pictures around all the visitors but that was not the fault of the guide.

We visitor The Louvre on Good Friday. When we walked up we were shocked at the crowds and lines. However, the meeting location was outside and very easy to find and helped us avoid all the lines and crowds trying to get in. The tour guide explained everything to us before we went inside. He guided us to a special entrance past the long lines and we breezed through the entry point. He explained everything we saw during the tour. This is the only way to visit the Louvre. Worth every penny!

I purchased these tickets with the escort straight to the Mona Lisa option. When we arrived to check in the guide started passing out audio guides. I explained that what we purchased was not a guide but rather an escort straight to the Mona Lisa (to avoid crowds and get good pictures before it got busy). She informed me that she was giving a tour and would eventually get to the Mona Lisa after about an hour into her tour. I kept trying to explain that we paid a lot of money for tickets straight to the ML but the tour guide was not budging. When we finally arrived to the ML in our tour the room was super crowded and we of course did not get the experience we wanted and paid for. If you are booking the tour DO NOT choose the escort to ML option because that is not what you will get.

This was a 5 star experience! From checking in, to entering and our guide Remi was nothing short of spectacular! Our daughter had additional needs and needed to use the elevator. We were on time and the place was a zoo. Could not find out guide. Made every effort possible to find them. They made no effort to contact me. Terrible service. When finally was able to make contact they wanted us to to walk to their office to get the tickets to the second half of our tour. We don’t want to do just ½. I was told they could not guarantee a refund. Well AMEX will.

This was perfect for me and my adult daughter. We didn’t have enough time in Paris to spend a day at the Louvre, so this is just what we needed. Checkin was easy, and our group was small maybe 20 people. Our guide was excellent as she showed us around. After her portion of the tour was over, you are free to explore on your own, or leave the museum.

The Louvre was on strike the day we booked. Not the tour company’s fault at all but I am kinda upset that no one reached out to us to tell us in advance! We literally ran across town to get to this tour only to be told it was cancelled. Also still trying to sort out a refund from Viator because apparently the tour company can not do it from their end.

Other bad reviews are true... the tour guide I had (Eleanor) was very disorganized, took us more than an hour to actually got into the museum galleries. Explained nothing or very poorly about the story, culture and history of the masterpieces. More than half of the group left and went on their own including myself during the tour. Truly waste of time and money unless you just want to get into the museum when it is fully booked.

As you can imagine, Paris around the holidays is crazy with tourists. The check in location for this tour was not clear. We were not contacted initially with how to locate our guide once at the Louvre( only with where). Finally I did identify the guide with having a red vest. It would be helpful if the guides had a red flag as well to see this above the crowds. My guide did not and thus I was separated many times from my group. I ended my tour alone and was unable to return my tour sticker as advised.

Our guide, Cecile was just magnificent. A trained art major and historian she truly captured the story telling of the major pieces at the Louvre and the hours just melted away. I really enjoyed the overall experience despite the crowdedness of the Louvre.

Be there 15 to 20 mins before actually time starts... just helps with tour starting on time and the guide knowing where everyone is. Tour was just our guide guiding us through the Louvre to significant art works like Mona Lisa. They don't give commentary if you are hoping for that. We beat the queues.... straight through security.... price was large because I booked two days before over Christmas... my fault. Book earlier if you know your schedule. Our guide Naomi was lovely and spoke English. We lined up at the Mona Lisa a little too long and missed the rest of our guided tour but that was our fault as the crowds were big and Naomi explained what time she had to leave to keep tour going. She explained all thos at the start of the tour so we were all aware. She told us the sites to go through if anyone decided to leave the tour or got stuck at sites.

Experience was great. At least it gave us less of a line-up at the entrance. A little too quick on majority of the areas of the tour. But you have time to revisit any art after the official tour completed.

Louvre unreliable open time - our time was 9:30; guide peaked 3 of group 5 min late due to traffic. Then we all had to wait in line until at least 10:30 for Louvre to open.
Guide / tourwas only ok - 98% of us left to go on our own before last exhibit. Think maybe audio tour would have been more worth while.

By the directions it said it would not wait for late people however our guide waited almost 40 minutes for people then everyone in group decided they had to use the rest room so our tour didn’t start until a hour and. 15 minutes past our time it was supposed to you they guide who was a male was pushy and miserable most of the time rushing from spot to spot. Overall I feel like we missed out on a lot of things due to people being late and having a couple with a carriage we had to wait for every time we had stairs which was a lot.

This is not a mobility accessible tour. The museum has plenty of elevators but the guide will not let you use them. The museum is huge, it takes hours to get through and there are LOTS of stairs. I am pregnant and we had a toddler with a stroller as well and we gave up after trying to haul the stroller and myself up and down stairs to various exhibits because the guide would not let us use the elevators.

M we were only three minutes late and they left without us. The location they gave us was the wrong location and they only gave us the correct location with maps and locations highlighted once we told them we could not find them.

Amazing. Our guide made this massive museum easy. You know you hit the high points when all the art displayed in the gift shop is exactly what you saw. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Well worth it and the only way to see the museum.
