There was a long wait before the group got to begin the Louvre tour and the queue to go through security was longer than I expected after the wait outside in the 30+ degree heat. The walk through the old Louvre fortress was brilliant but overshadowed by the excessively busy museum itself. The guilde was knowledgeable and showed us the highlights after which we were glad to get out of the Louvre probably won’t go back for another decade maybe in winter. Our unguided tour of the Musee d’Orsay was amazing.

The meeting point was not clear at all. There were many agents at the same location, which made it very confusing.
I bought the tickets one hour before the tour, but when we arrived, they did not have my name on the list. We called the Viator emergency/contact number around 10 times, but no one answered. We also sent messages and received no response.
Even the agent at the meeting point could not reach anyone and mentioned that they had been having these kinds of problems.
Overall, it was an awful and very frustrating experience.

Do NOT book with these folks. Horrible business. They completely ruined my honeymoon vacation. We booked for a 430pm tour of Louvre with them through Viator and they never showed up. They then gaslight into thinking that we never booked when I texted them on WhatsApp the confirmation and screenshots of my booking. They were super rude on the phone about the situation when THEY were the ones who never showed up for our tour. They took our money.

Instant access and a direct walk to the Mona Lisa, the Louve was amazing. The Mona Lisa not so much., in my opinion. My suggestion, if you have the time book tickets ahead of time and save yourself a bunch of money. For last-minute tickets and easy access, great company.

We were left behind in the pouring rain We arrived at the meeting point 2 minutes late due to the weather conditions The area was so crowded with people trying to get out of the rain that we couldn’t find our tour guide We immediately called the # listed on the booking and they said they couldn’t help us we tried to find the tour inside the entrance to the Louvre but did see any group with the red flag as we were told This was a terrible experience and the we will be sure to post our horrible experience and are demanding a refund I have a copy of my phone log indicating the time and # of times we tried to reach the company and the tour guide

Loved the times entry, skip the line access, and a tour guide taking us to highlighted areas.
However, this tour misleading in the description it stated that the Musem Orsay was included, but it wasn’t.
Here is the description-
Louvre timed entry: Guided, hosted or hosted plus Musee D’Orsay.
Why is the Musee D’Orsay even included in the description if it was not part of the tour.??

It was good as far as the list of items to visit and see. However, it was difficult getting through the large number of people and getting time to take enough pictures and of course it was difficult to get good shots of pictures around all the visitors but that was not the fault of the guide.

We visitor The Louvre on Good Friday. When we walked up we were shocked at the crowds and lines. However, the meeting location was outside and very easy to find and helped us avoid all the lines and crowds trying to get in. The tour guide explained everything to us before we went inside. He guided us to a special entrance past the long lines and we breezed through the entry point. He explained everything we saw during the tour. This is the only way to visit the Louvre. Worth every penny!

I purchased these tickets with the escort straight to the Mona Lisa option. When we arrived to check in the guide started passing out audio guides. I explained that what we purchased was not a guide but rather an escort straight to the Mona Lisa (to avoid crowds and get good pictures before it got busy). She informed me that she was giving a tour and would eventually get to the Mona Lisa after about an hour into her tour. I kept trying to explain that we paid a lot of money for tickets straight to the ML but the tour guide was not budging. When we finally arrived to the ML in our tour the room was super crowded and we of course did not get the experience we wanted and paid for. If you are booking the tour DO NOT choose the escort to ML option because that is not what you will get.

We were on time and the place was a zoo. Could not find out guide. Made every effort possible to find them. They made no effort to contact me. Terrible service. When finally was able to make contact they wanted us to to walk to their office to get the tickets to the second half of our tour. We don’t want to do just ½. This was perfect for me and my adult daughter. We didn’t have enough time in Paris to spend a day at the Louvre, so this is just what we needed. Checkin was easy, and our group was small maybe 20 people. Our guide was excellent as she showed us around. The Louvre was on strike the day we booked. Not the tour company’s fault at all but I am kinda upset that no one reached out to us to tell us in advance! We literally ran across town to get to this tour only to be told it was cancelled. Also still trying to sort out a refund from Viator because apparently the tour company can not do it from their end.

Other bad reviews are true... the tour guide I had (Eleanor) was very disorganized, took us more than an hour to actually got into the museum galleries. Explained nothing or very poorly about the story, culture and history of the masterpieces. More than half of the group left and went on their own including myself during the tour. Truly waste of time and money unless you just want to get into the museum when it is fully booked.

As you can imagine, Paris around the holidays is crazy with tourists. The check in location for this tour was not clear. We were not contacted initially with how to locate our guide once at the Louvre( only with where). Finally I did identify the guide with having a red vest. It would be helpful if the guides had a red flag as well to see this above the crowds. My guide did not and thus I was separated many times from my group. I ended my tour alone and was unable to return my tour sticker as advised.
