Overview
Design your own personal perfume, or ‘parfum’ as the French call it, during this workshop in Paris. Learn about the different families of perfumes and tenacities of scents from a perfumer teacher, and then play with a range of scents to create three different perfumes. Take home your parfum of choice in a 50-ml bottle. This artistic experience is limited to eight people, ensuring a more memorable experience.

During this workshop in Paris with six to eight participants, take joy in custom-designing your own perfume. Learn from a master perfumer, who teaches you concepts such as ‘family of note,’ ‘family of perfumes,’ and ‘tenacity’ of the different products (top, heart, and bottom notes), using methods created by Marina Jung.
The perfumer will ask you questions to help guide you in the next phase of the workshop: scent creation. With about 50 different compositions available to play with, get to work on producing three perfumes, on your own or with assistance.
Choose one of your personally designed scents and take it home in a provided 50-ml bottle, an alluring scent that cannot be purchased in a store.

We had a great time learning about perfumes and the individual scents and how they are blended to make a unique cologne for oneself. Joannie is very knowledgable and made the entire experience fun and exciting.
After learning about perfumes, and talking about what we like and don't like, Joannie helped us each mix three personal perfumes. Then we chose one and she made a larger quantity of it, which we took home along with our three samples.
The entire event was eye opening and fun. Who knew there was so much to this and that we could do it ourself?

Our perfume-making class was one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our entire Paris trip. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and made the process approachable while still feeling special and elevated.
We loved learning about fragrance notes, blending techniques, and the artistry behind perfume creation. It was especially meaningful because fragrance is something close to our hearts — and being able to create scents that were uniquely ours made it even more special. We left with beautiful bottles and even better memories.
If you’re looking for an experience that’s creative, personal, and unlike anything else in Paris, this class is an absolute must.

Very pleasant hostess with a beautiful apartment.
She was prompt, cordial and very patient.
There was only 1 other person in this off season mid-week class so the hostess had a lot of time to spend with each of us. So many scents to choose from and they were displayed beautifully. Shopping and restaurants nearby were fun afterwards.This is not formatting well and so words are separated.

This is way more involved than we could have expected, all in a good way! The instructor was so knowledgeable so patient and had really good insight and help us when everything seemed a little overwhelming. We brought home perfumes/ colognes that we made..such a unique experience ! Highly recommend.

I went with my 14-year-old son, this was the one thing he picked out to do in Paris. He had such a good time trying to get his perfect sent. We got to keep all the samples we made along with a typical size perfume/cologne bottle. He is so excited to show off his new sent to all his friends! The guide/teacher was super helpful and informative was there to guide you along the way. We loved it!
