Don’t book if you are on a cruise. We booked this tour to do while cruising to the port of Salerno. On the morning of the tour, our port stop was cancelled due to rough seas and the ship was unable to access the port. We notified Viator and the tour operator immediately at 7 a.m. We were told no refund was allowed as we had not cancelled 24 hours in advance. We did not know the seas would be rough 24 hours in advance! We had also booked car transfer to Naples for the tour. They were most gracious in allowing cancellation. Our cruise ship, Celebrity, said it is common practice to refund tours, even with outside companies, when the seas make it impossible to dock. Our captain gave us a letter to submit to the company/tour operator explaining the reason we had to miss the port, but they still refused a refund. There is nothing we could have done differently as this was a weather-related cancellation, not just us changing our mind. It would just seem that in the event of a forced cancellation due to weather, the tour company and providers would be willing to work with travellers, not just take their money and provide no services. We cancelled at 7 a.m., the tour was not scheduled until 10:00 a.m. Very poor customer service,

Miriam was an excellent guide with amazing knowledge of all things Napoli. We were introduced to the many areas of Napoli, all with unique aspects of culture history and food. We saw many great monuments from the very earliest of settlement through some of the horrors of WWII. We were able to learn about the foods and what to look for while on our own. We used quite a lot of the information we received to dive deeper into some of the sites we saw on our walk about.

Carla was very responsive to my interests and knowledgeable about the city. She was also came up with a wonderful activity I had not considered - visiting St. Elmo’s castle.
Carla went above and behind her brief and helped me plot my routes to activities I signed up for in upcoming days. She also resolved a major problem that developed with my iPhone. This was very important since all my tickets and reservations were stories on it.

The only way to see Naples in a short time. Appreciated being able to pick the time, number of hours and where we wanted to go. It was also quite reasonable for a private tour. Our guide, Mirriam, agreed to do our tour last minute when our original guide was unable to get to us due to car trouble. We requested the 3hr tour which was perfect for my slow pace. Mirriam was knowledgeable, friendly and showed us both the historic and funky side of Naples we would not have been able to discover on our own, including the funicular to the top of Montesanto for a spectacular view of Naples below. She even helped us get to the metro to connect to our train back to Sorrento. Five stars to Mirriam and also Guydeez, who scrambled to find us a last minute guide.

Booked last minute after another tour was cancelled the day before. Diego met us at our B&B and took us around the city on foot. Naples is full of life, chaos and passion. Diego took us to the main sites around the centre, and was mindful of a gentle pace needed due to some mobility issues.
