Guisseppi was a wonderful tour guide as well as very respectful and kind. He gave us a few ideas and took us to the amzaing Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and other sights to see and enjoy. We tried the famous lemon ice cream and other goodies. We enjoyed our whole trip with him as well.

Marco was the best driver for us today! We told him exactly where we wanted to go and he made it happen. He even reserved a special lunch spot for us that had the best view of positano. We had the best day along the coast!

Drive to Positano.

The car was clean, driver Ciro was nice. I was just disappointed, that we did not make any stops along the way to take pictures, just once right before Positano. We did have time, because we arrived back 45 minutes early. Also, I was told by Josef they would make reservations for lunch at the restaurant I was interested in. They failed to do that, and the day before the restaurant had no availability. It was a very winding drive so we do appreciate them driving us.

Thank you very much for your review. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the comfort of the car and appreciated Ciro’s driving skills — he will be happy to know that. I would like to kindly clarify two points regarding the stops along the drive and the restaurant reservation. First, the traffic along the Amalfi Coast is often unpredictable, and we always plan extra time to make sure our guests return on schedule. During your tour, the driver did make a couple of stops for photos, and according to your timing, a lunch reservation was arranged for around 12:30 PM at another recommended restaurant in Positano by the beach. Regarding the restaurant you originally requested, unfortunately, we were unable to secure a reservation because it gives priority to guests staying at their hotel and requires a credit card guarantee with a cancellation penalty for no-show or late arrival. Since Viator’s policy allows cancellations up to 24 hours before the service, we couldn’t risk using our company card for the booking and pay the penalty. The restaurant suggested trying a walk-in on the day of the tour, but unfortunately, no table was available at that time. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience maybe I should i tell you that in advance so you could do the booking online and write your credit card information as guarantee. (Over all this was i kind of favor that we offer to do but unfortunately i couldn't help you) As an alternative, we proposed a very good seaside restaurant in Positano and scheduled free time to explore the town after lunch. However, you preferred to return earlier to the cruise port, which is why the tour finished ahead of schedule. We truly appreciate your understanding and feedback, as it helps us improve our service even further. Our driver was on time and very flexible to see the Amalfi Coast. We asked for an English speaking driver and although he did speak English it was very hard to understand what he was saying. I know he was giving us good information about what we were seeing but we didn't understand him. He stopped to give us a tour of a ceramics studio and shop. We said no to that to save time to see more sights.

He speaks excellent English, is always polite, and has received many positive reviews from our guests. Regarding the ceramic shop, there may have been a misunderstanding. Vincenzo stopped at the parking area of the Piccadilly ceramics store only because it provides convenient stop to see the Emerald Grotto and offers a beautiful viewpoint for photos of the bay. Since we were temporarily using the shop’s private parking, Vincenzo politely suggested you could step inside if you wished—whether to browse, use the restroom, or have a refreshment. This was purely out of courtesy, and of course, there was absolutely no obligation to purchase anything. We truly value every guest’s experience, so it saddens us to see a small misunderstanding reflected in your review. Amalfi and Pompeii with Marco Taurino

We had a 6 hour tour from the cruise port. We went to Amalfi for shopping and lunch. Lunch we picked ourselves at Da Maria in Amalfi and it was perfect for our family of 4. Along the way to Amalifi we saw amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius and the coastal views were simply stunning. Marco shared lots of interesting facts about the area. We stopped at Pompeii for an hour on the way back. Marco warned us we would want 2 hours there and he was right. We will come back and spend more time next time. We had a great day and the driving here is insanity. Marco was very good at navigating the roads and we were glad to have his expertise!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was our favorite stop of the trip (Barcelona, Florence, Marseille , Rome) - due much in part to the incredible experience Josef provided. He was SUPER communicative leading up to the visit - which was SO helpful in us being able to trust and enjoy the day. I had read another review and asked for the same thing, bc it sounded amazing: amalfi coast - Limoncello - Pompeii. They were not wrong. Josef was not only incredibly informative during the drive to each location, but upon arrival, he provided recommendations that were perfect additions, from shopping to dining and more. You can tell he’s a homegrown local by his wealth of knowledge and ability to drive in conditions I would not trust many to :). He was on time, helped manage the days itinerary, and helped assuage any fears we had of missing the cruise boat with his attention to traffic management and time spent in each location. We can’t wait to return, and won’t hesitate to contact Josef when we do. Thank you for a GREAT experience.

Book this Naples tour!!! Josef was just the best. He was friendly and communication was clear and effective. Josef is a wealth of knowledge on all things Napoli!. He kept us (x2 adults and x 2 teens 12 and 14 year old) engaged and taught us all about the history of the beautiful city. We tasted delicious pizza and gelato on Josef’s recommendations 👌🏼 He even made a detour to the Napoli football store for my son! Transportation was good. Our driver met us at the correct place and time, and took us to the places we wanted to visit. Maybe out expectations were off. We had a driver, noting else, she did not talk or tell us about anything the city or places alone the route. no offer of WIFI or water during the trip.

Our tour was wonderful! We needed two cars to accommodate our large group and the cars arrived on time and were nicely appointed and air conditioned! We were able to see all the sites we wanted to (sorrento and Pompeii). Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with The restaurant recommended for lunch. Our food took over an hour to be served (we believe they forgot to submit our order). We would not have agreed to this restaurant had we know this. But we understand this was not the fault of the tour guide. Although they should not recommend this restaurant in the future. The tour itself was wonderful. I would book with them again.

Absolutely Amazing and Professional

My husband and our friends travelling Italy from Canada on a royal Caribbean cruise so total of 4 people. We decided to book a private tour instead of booking with Royal Caribbean. I get people might be concerned not booking with the cruise however this was one of my best experiences I have booked. We did not have to pile on a bus with 40 other people. Booking with Josef was so easy. He responded to all my questions and concerns and made me feel so comfortable that we made the right decision. Our driver was Guiseppe and hands down a fantastic driver. He was early to pick us up so we did not have to wait. He messaged on What’s app to help us find him amongst the other drivers. We drove out to Ravello where we had an hour to wonder. Giuseppe told us the highlights and showed us on the map to make most of our time well spent. We then went to Amaifi same told us the bonuses of that town. He surprised us with a restaurant for lunch in Positano that had fantastic food and overlooked the town and ocean. We stopped randomly so we could get the best photo for our memories. He also surprised us with a tour of the limoncello factory and gave us a tour where we got to sample some limoncello and of course we purchased some. We then travelled to Pompeii where they arranged a private tour for 2 hours learning the fascinating history. Our guide was informative personally and really took the time to make sure we new the amazing history of Pompeii. If you are ever in this area on a cruise by far worth every penny to book with Josef and if you are lucky to get Giuseppe as your driver you will not be disappointed. We arrived back with penalty of time to get back on the boat. Memories that will last forever with us. Thank you Josef and Giuseppe! So professional.
