Great tour & guide.

Great tour, Anna our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate. We would recommend, however, what has stopped this review from being 5 stars was the initial interaction looking for our group. The tickets said operated by Pompeiln. After waiting for 10 minutes or so we asked a group organiser with Askos Tours (guy called Massimo) if he knew of anny other groups. He told us we were on his tour. When I showed him our ticket he said ‘you booked twice’ that’s why you’ve got it wrong. I didn’t book twice. I had one booking, but he was dismissive and rude.. Viator, please ensure that when people are booking we know exactly who to look for.

GianCarlo was an excellent guide to Herculaneum. He shared his deep knowledge of the site in a very understandable way. He added lots of useful information throughout the tour. Wonderful tour guide. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tour with very knowledgeable archaeology expert. Learned a lot and Herculaneum was so fascinating. Museum was small and not to much more info. Was difficult to find our tour as info on our tour ticket was incorrect.
