Coming from 11,000 km away, I had thought Capri was a quaint little spot with fishing villages. Well, it's definitely not. Be prepared for huge crowds from the moment you board the ferry. That said, when you do, you definitely want to be in Tiziana's capable hands. She made sure the group stuck to times, so that we were always a bit ahead of other tour groups and could actually enjoy the vistas with minimal other people. She is also great fun. Due to choppy seas, we could not enter the Blue Grotto, but I think that was a blessing in disguise: the boat tour around the island is magnificent! I honestly don't think we would have enjoyed the Grotto as much as we did the boat tour. Thank you, Tiziana, for a great day out.
TIPS: This is a jam packed day, so wear comfortable shoes and pack drinking water. Be prepared to spend a hefty sum
on a coffee at the Piacetta, but enjoy clean, quiet bathrooms.

Great experience visiting the beautiful island of Capri. Although the Blue Grotto was closed due to windy conditions, we still enjoyed the tour. Plan B was an hour-long boat ride around the island where we got to see other beautiful grottos and admire the beautiful island from the water. The chairlift ride to the top was an additional charge but well worth the €15. The views were spectacular!
Our guide, Teresa, was very knowledgeable about the area and shared several tips on where to have lunch and where to find the best gelato!

Tiziana was out tour guide that day and she's a great lady. Although we didn't get a chance to visit blue grottoe because it was closed due to high tide, we were compensated by a boat tour around the island. Tiziana made sure we got the best seat on the boat, telling us where to sit beforehand to get the best experience on the boat tour. I came during winter, so most shops were closed, we were told the capri people only work during high season when there are loads of tourists coming to the island, otherwise they would just decide to shut the business and open whenever they like. But that's not a big issue for me, since I went there to experience the island and not to shop around. It's much better when there is less crowd. I took a chairlift in Anacapri going up to Mt Solaro and from up there it's a 360 degree fantastic view, it was worth €14 round ticket for the chairlift. I would recommend this tour, although I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but then the ferry itself from Naples round trip already cost you €48, plus we got the private free bus from the marina to go to Capri and Anacapri, that itself would cost you €25 (they are selling the bus ticket in the ferry), plus the boat trip around the island which might cost you around €20+, so this tour was definitely worth your time. Capri is a very beautiful island, I like Capri much better than the Amalfi Coast.
Great experience! Got in the blue grotto- like Ana capri better. Plenty of time. Recommend the boat trip after for 24 euro. Takes you around the island with great views
The day had heavy thunderstorms, It was disappointed that blue grotto was not open due to it. But they had a second plan to take a boat trip around the island which compensated all. We enjoyed the trip despite we were drenched in rain.
I wish to revisit the next time to see the blue grotto.

Loved this from start to finish. Michele was the best guide and got us to Capri early which really did benefit us. Efficient tour and although we couldn’t get in the blue grotto due to the seas the boat tour around the island made up for it.

Capri and Anacapri is very beautiful. The boat ride inside Blue grato is very quick but it’s worth it.
We always knew that getting into the Blue Grotto was not certain, and we figured the company's back up plan of a tour around the island by boat pointing everything out matched the value of the experience (if not the awe inspiring view of the blue grotto).
What we did not foresee was when we couldn't get into the blue grotto the schedule flipping a bit and leaving our main lunch time between 10:15 - 12:15 when very few of the restaurants were open. We ended up at the little grocery store in Anacapri to make sure we had enough real food to balance out the limoncello and chocolate being served everywhere.
The chair lift climb up the mountain was very nice.
our experience was also different in that there was an issue on the main land and no running water was going to the island that day, so they stopped all tour boats after ours, which meant there were only a couple on the island all day, which limited the amount tourists.

Our guide Aberto was terrific, with a fun and positive personality. He kept us on track all day, and quickly modified the needs of our tour (it was raining with rough seas) to keep things interesting and worthwhile. Unfortunately Blue Grotto was closed due to rough weather, but our time on Capri and Anacapri was very enjoyable and Alberto arranged for our boat ride around the island as well as acted as personal guide in some of the shops and recommendations for shopping and lunch in Anacapri (Ristorante Le Arcate). Don't miss the gondola ride up to Monte Solaro, well worth the experience. The boat ride around Capri was a highlight of the tour, including commentary and a serenade by Alberto. Thanks to Alberto for making the day so enjoyable.

The whole day was a 1A+ experience. They are so unbelievable professional in organising a perfect day. Our only mistake was not to follow Paolas recommendation for lunch - shame on us. We had to pay for our ignorance with a bad experience... we had lunch at a tourist trap.

Our experienced guide Michele was super friendly and was able to move us quickly through the sites of Capri with a well rehearsed plan for the day.
We started with a trip to the Grotta Azzurra before any of the crowds showed up as he knew based on the weather that it might be short day.
After that, we went to Anacapri with another local restaurant choice with a lovely menu, and then a trip to Capri with enough time to have a quick dip at the local beach.
Michele made sure that our time was managed well despite one couple being upset - the rest of us were happy that he kept things moving.
Michele was wonderful and so was the island of Capri.
Would go again and hope to get Michele.
Great tour! Highly recommended. Unfortunately, the Blue Grotto was closed on the day we went due to heavy winds and rough seas, but we were able to take Plan B, which was a boat ride around the isle of Capri. The boat ride was very nice. Anacapri was beautiful. Our tour operator was also very flexible with our schedule because we had to leave the group a little early to make our cruise ship departure time. One tip, when taking the ferry across from Naples to Capri, do not sit down below unless you want to get seasick.
Alberto our guide was terrific and funny (a great singer too, we found out on the extra boat tour we took!). Blue Grotto is amazing, but watch your head on that tiny cave entrance. See Villa St Michelle on Annacapri! Boat tour of the island was best part of trip!
