We unfortunately did not...
We unfortunately did not get to do the Blue Grotto. The tour around the island was very informative. We had some rough waves and quite a few people got sick, but the crew was great with going around handing out bags to get sick in. I appreciated the driver trying to get close to entrances to peek in and also stopping the boat at times to take pictures!

Fun and fabulous Capri day tour
We saw so many beautiful sites! We had to dodge some rain but our guide Marcella was amazing in her ability to pivot as needed and keep everything fun and organized. Highly recommend!

  • Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) tickets are sold at the floating ticket office near the entrance of the cave. Most boat tours include tickets.

  • Due to the low cave entrance, the Blue Grotto is only open when weather conditions permit.

  • You’ll have to wait to enter the cave aboard small, open-air rowboats, so bring a hat and sunblock.

  • The journey to the Blue Grotto is not recommended for those who suffer from seasickness.

  • Once inside the cave, many rowboat skippers will treat you to a serenade for a small tip.
