We took this tour - it was basically ok (a little pricey for what it's worth). It was rushed and there were many tour groups in the opera house at the same time so all of them kept running into each other as we journeyed from room to room. I was disappointed that there was no back stage tour (standard in other opera house tours that I've taken) but this may not have been possible as a performance was scheduled for that evening. I don't know if there were no performance if it would have included a back stage look. So, in conclusion, it was adequate but certainly nothing exceptional.

Our guide was knowledgeable and kind, and was eager to share her deep knowledge with our group. We were with her for an hour, but I'm sure she would have been able to keep us enthralled for many more.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend. You get a few highlights of La Scala and get to see the inside of this legendary theater if you are not lucky to see a performance.

My heart sank when the guide turned up with 10 seconds to go to realise it was the same guide I had for my Duomo tour. Uninterested, monotone voice and constantly checking his watch to see when he could make an early get away. The theatre itself is beautiful but I have learnt nothing about it. I asked a couple of questions and he muttered that he didn't know. With the right guide this could be a great tour, but with the wrong one, as I have now had twice, it's just plain boring.

We really enjoyed this tour with Giula. The theatre has a very interesting history and the museum has many fascinating artefacts. Giula was very knowledgeable and provided very useful background information.
The highlight of the tour was seeing the theatre with all the lights on.There were rehearsals in progress at the time we visited so initially it wasn’t looking likely that we would see the theatre lit up however the theatre staff were very accommodating and we were allowed to visit the theatre during a rehearsal break.
Highly recommended for any visit to Milan

Our guide Emanuele was wonderful.even though there was a dress rehearsal going on for students she was able to get us into a box to see the inside of the theater

We had a knowledgeable guide. We were shown lots of images from a large screen and learned about the history of La Scala.
We were allowed inside one box to view the stage.
However, we never got near the stage. We didn’t go backstage, we didn’t see any dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, or props and costumes for this week.
I was disappointed that the tour was all from the inside.

Tour was cancelled and the tour organizer did not notify us until 30 mins after the scheduled start despite my proving my email, and phone number. I received no advance warning of the cancellation. Frustrating and disappointing

Another horrible experience with the visitor tickets.
We supposed to meet with the tour guy at 3:30
We got there 3:10 wait and look for the tour guy in the meeting point ( plaza) for more then 20 min. Finally we went straight to the entrance and explained we had a reservation for that time but couldn’t find out your guy, receptionist ask about the ticket and then explain the changed the time and did the tour an hour before. The company never send an e mail or message letting us know about the changes.
Another couple and another family were in same situation. No body knew nothing about the time change .
I booked my entire trip with this company and I had similar and even worse problem to be able to use the ticket I got. Most of them I wasn’t able to used them. Lost lot time and money cause ended buying new ticket there.
It make my trip to Paris and Italy an horrible and nightmare experience.

Our guide was knowledgeable and covered much of the history of the theatre. The museum was interesting, but walking thru the theatre and catching part of a dress rehearsal (Turandot - while the tenor sang "Nessun Dorma") was the highlight of the tour.

The time was changed for this tour and we were never notified. This was a horrible experience and Viiator should not use this company. They were so unresponsive and rude when I called to find out where they were. They lied to me saying they sent an email and called to notify me of the time change. The only call I received was at 3:15, saying missed call. Even if I received that it would not be acceptable because that was the time the tour was starting. It ruined our day and we could not get another tour of La Scala. We are very disappointed.

It was a very nice tour. However, from the minute the tour guide began, she kept saying that she doesn’t have a lot of time and needs to go someplace else. She continued saying that throughout the tour which we found annoying and inappropriate as we paid to have the guided tour.

Being able to stand in the theatre boxes and watch the tech work taking place on stage while guide gave history was great.
The 3 flights of steep stairs was challenging and the elevator was not available.

It was okay but Just a quick view of theatre from balcony. The rest was ajoining rooms with some history from tour guide. Did not include stage floor or backstage. No priority access. Very crowded with school kids tours.
