Great, informative tour of the theater. It was a very personalized experience since we got the opportunity to sit into the actual theater. I recommend this trip to everybody not only Opera lovers
An hour 'ish was the right length of time. You could stay in the museum afterwards if you wanted to.
Very comprehensive tour of La Scala, very lucky to see rehearsal taking place & them go back to see the opera house again !
Very thorough and interesting background and history of the theater along with very beautiful artifacts and instruments. Inside the theater is magnificent.
The guide cancelled about three hours before the tour. It was my last day in Milan. Rude! I had not time to schedule another guided tour.
It is overpriced. La Scala and museum are beautiful and interesting but you can see both for a fraction of the price and avoid the fluff.
You can only see the inside of the theatre IF available. But truly great tour! And book it early in the day.
Anybody who likes opera should visit. It is very informative tour and possible to get to a place without seeing performance which of course has to be fantastic experience also but not always possible. Daniel is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts.
Our guide was great and we got special access to private opera boxes for photos! Worth it to skip the line.
If you are an opera fun and/or really want to get inside the legendary La Scala, then this tour is for you. Otherwise, skip it.

It was a quick overall tour of La Scala with time to look around on your own after. The guide was SUPER knowledgable about La Scala and all things opera. So many good stories to tell.

We took this tour - it was basically ok (a little pricey for what it's worth). It was rushed and there were many tour groups in the opera house at the same time so all of them kept running into each other as we journeyed from room to room. I was disappointed that there was no back stage tour (standard in other opera house tours that I've taken) but this may not have been possible as a performance was scheduled for that evening. I don't know if there were no performance if it would have included a back stage look. So, in conclusion, it was adequate but certainly nothing exceptional.
Our guide was knowledgeable and kind, and was eager to share her deep knowledge with our group. We were with her for an hour, but I'm sure she would have been able to keep us enthralled for many more.
Excellent tour. Highly recommend. You get a few highlights of La Scala and get to see the inside of this legendary theater if you are not lucky to see a performance.
The guide was polite, very deep knowledge and he made our tour incredibly nice. We find the place easy, group was small and La Scalla felt wow!
this is a very informative tour especially if you love everything about theatre. I was so immersed in the tour guide's stories, I never felt alone while on a tour.

Badly organized. Host late. Guide was charming but material boring. You would only go if you had to see the inside of a box and the stage.

Fantastic commentary by our guide. Not too long and not too short. Lots to see. We had the lights off and lights on experience during preparation for the show.
Knowledgeable guide. Friendly. Gave lots of interesting, historical information. Well spoken. Was a great tour.
My heart sank when the guide turned up with 10 seconds to go to realise it was the same guide I had for my Duomo tour. Uninterested, monotone voice and constantly checking his watch to see when he could make an early get away. The theatre itself is beautiful but I have learnt nothing about it. I asked a couple of questions and he muttered that he didn't know. With the right guide this could be a great tour, but with the wrong one, as I have now had twice, it's just plain boring.
We really enjoyed this tour with Giula. The theatre has a very interesting history and the museum has many fascinating artefacts. Giula was very knowledgeable and provided very useful background information.
The highlight of the tour was seeing the theatre with all the lights on.There were rehearsals in progress at the time we visited so initially it wasn’t looking likely that we would see the theatre lit up however the theatre staff were very accommodating and we were allowed to visit the theatre during a rehearsal break.
Highly recommended for any visit to Milan
Marvelous, if you enjoy Opera and Ballet. The guide was very knowledgeable. Had a perfect day. The Museum was beautiful and the Theatre glorious.
