If you've already explored Malta by land, get out on the water on this cruise and soak up the scenery of the island's north coast and around the neighboring island of Comino. Go to the famed Blue Lagoon to snorkel and swim in the clear water; admire the cliffs, enter the Ahrax and Santa Maria caves, and swim in the crystal-clear waters of Comino, or simply soak up the sun on the boat's sun deck.

- Please note on Comino island and on the boat payments are accepted cash only
- For guests doing the cruise in March - May or October - December bring a jacket or something warm as it gets chilly when cruising

We had such a great experience on the Blue Lagoon boat tour! The boat itself was spacious with plenty of deck chairs upstairs to relax and enjoy the views. The stops for swimming and snorkeling were amazing, and the crew made it even better — they were so friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful information. Onboard, there was a great selection of food, drinks, and even ice cream, plus the option to hire snorkels and lockers which was super convenient. A really well-organized and enjoyable trip — highly recommend!

Nice trip, be early (as in 8:30) for rooftop chairs. Lovely staff, very friendly. Food is good and well priced. We had a great day!

This was our best day in Malta! Amazing sites, attentive crew and fun extras like the speedboat ride through the caves. The boat was well equipped with food and drink as well. Get there early (an hour early at least) to get a great chair on the top level for the best views.

This was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Entertaining and relaxing in equal measure. Arrive early if you want to choose a top deck deckchair seat. Sit starboard site for the best views of Comino and if you can afford it take the speedboat option to the crystal caves. (It’s worth the extra 15 Euros). We did not do the Gozo option as we had already spent two days there so spent the whole day on Comino and this was perfect. We walked away from the crowded center and found a quiet spot to eat and snorkel. We then came back to the boat after it returned from Gozo to grab a top deck spot again before swimming in the more popular area n the sand and across to the rocks. The blue lagoon was incredible but as with so many beautiful locations spoilt by people who have no respect for nature. Horn blower Cruises were brilliant and worth the money. Just remember to download the Comino landing pass for the whole day and not just the morning session as this caught us out. It’s free but a bit of trial either way limited mobile phone signal. X

This was well worth the money. We had a great time swimming. Food was good and not expensive. We took the speed boat ride and it was fun. It cost 15 Euros per person. We got to go in caves with the speedboat. We did nit go on the Gozo island with the bus because my granddaughter likes to swim so we stayed with the boat all day.

amazing!! this was me and my friends favourite activity of the holiday. the staff was super helpful and friendly, and the blue lagoon was absolutely stunning. food and drink were delicious and reasonably priced, 100% recommend.

Fantastic way to explore Comino with the option of half day tour to Gozo. You will have the best day out on the bluest waters of the Mediterranean.
On the way to Comino, explore caves and rock formations, narrated by captain Kevin.
If you get hungry, great and inexpensive food and drinks are available onboard. We had the chicken burgers and chips, which went down a treat.
You won’t be disappointed if you book the Hornblower, especially has you have your own private swimming area, huge slide and the most pristine waters I have even seen.
This is our third trip and we keep booking with Hornblower.

This was such a fun day! The crew were great and played upbeat music all day. They have a little bar on the boat that serves food, but there are also a ton of food options on Comino. You can do activities on Comino as well, like parasailing.

Once the boat reaches lagoon, I did the water slice and swimming. After I swing over the lagoon to the other side, I found there was a cave, actually it's a tunnel, I swim into and over it, I found there is a more beautiful blue beach.

This day was our favourite of the trip so far we had so much fun, the boat was so nice make sure to get there early so you can get a deck chair upstairs. The ride was smooth sailing and the crew were awesome. There was cheap drinks and food on board, there were jumping and slide spots- everything we could have asked for!

My friend and I are abroad and did this for a day! It was a lot of fun. They have food and cocktails on board and you cruise to the blue lagoon and stay there for a couple hours. The blue lagoon is so beautiful and definitely worth seeing in Malta. They played good music and were very nice. Would recommend.

Wow!! love you title as we really consider Malta a jewel in the Mediterranean especially the Blue Lagoon.
October is my favourite time of the year, not too hot but still hot enough to swim. The water still warm and not so many people :-)

This was an excellent tour - the check-in was professional and fast. Add-On options where offered during check-in. The boat ride to Comino was pleasant and good commendatory on the way. The Blue Lagoon was a most amazing experience. As was the ride to the caves with a lively and extremely pleasant guide. The bus tour to Gozo was not so amazing mainly due to the lack of enthusiasm of the driver.

Everything was perfect!!! The staff is really nice, you have enough time for the best programs, nice foods and drinks on great prices, everything is clean. You can even rent a locker, snorkel equipmemt, life jacket ( for deposit but free). You can even go for a soeedboat tour which is well organised!! I really recommend this trip to everyone!! Owe did also the sunset tour 2 days later which is also a lifetime experience! What hing the stars and the moon from the top of the ship when you are crossing the sea is unique!

If you’re after a peaceful and relaxing experience then this trip is probably not for you. The boat was full to bursting with tourists and music was blaring the whole time. The Blue Lagoon is worth a visit for the crystal clear waters but the location is spoiled by the hoards of boats and people.

Fantastic boat trip to Comino! The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. The blue lagoon was amazing! Slide and jumping off the boat was great fun. Food was very good and great prices. Captains playlist was an added bonus!

Seas VERY rough (multiple people throwing up)
90% of people are 20 - 25 years old.
Drinks and food reasonably priced.
Absolute best part was when 80% of the boat got off for the bus tour and we had it to ourselves.
Take a life jcket and a cocktail and float around in the lagoon!!!

Really enjoyed the trip! Nice staff that will help, you can be on the boat enjoying the water without the need to go on the island that is loaded with people everywhere, it's more quiet to stay on the boat. You also have the opportunitty to go on a speedboat which I also recommend. Thank you from having us, love from Portugal and Spain

This trip was so much fun and good value. I loved the guide’s explanation of the sights along the way. The pineapple drink is cute and fun and value to refill. We took the speedboat trip which was great and we got to explore the caves. We walked to Santa Maria bay 20 mins away which was a lot quieter and calmer. The blue lagoon is a wonder! I would definitely recommend this trip while visiting Malta. You are also one of the first boats to the lagoon.

Definitely the best bang for the buck, from all I read and researched beforehand. All the highlights offered by other companies, plus a lengthy, fun swimming time and plenty of free time on Comino to enjoy the afternoon! The captain and crew were fantastic, engaging, and super chill. Food & Drink prices were great, and not a bad view possible from the ship! It felt like they knew exactly what they were doing the whole time, with a perfect balance of safety and adventure, along with conveying necessary rules/expectations and having a lot of non-micromanaged fun! Would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a great day away for a very reasonable price!
