Boat tour in Malta.

It really is a boat tour for young people. If you want to swim you go off a slide or jump off the back of the boat. When we went to Comino we had to climb up a hill of rocks to get to land. However, the staff were pleasant and the scenery was beautiful. I would not recommend this tour for people 65 and older.

Avoid - just use main ferries

Sadly, this trip is a waste of money and the experience wasn’t what was advertised at all. We got on the boat, then headed to Comino for the blue lagoon via the crystal lagoon. This being February it was fairly choppy so we didn’t stop at the crystal lagoon, fair enough. We got to the blue lagoon and sat on the boat for about 20 minutes whilst they attempted and failed to dock. We then ended up going round to the other side of the island to dock there, which was described as a 15 minute walk away. This docking was not only a long way away from where we wanted to be, it was also incredibly dangerous with a drop of about 2 feet from the boat to the uneven, rocky shore, which wasn’t a proper landing point. Despite this being advertised as a Comino / Gozo trip, we were then told that we wouldn’t be going to Gozo and that they’d return for us at the blue lagoon in two and a half hours, which is an insanely long amount of time to want to stay at the location - it’s gorgeous, but there’s nothing to actually do there. Instead of waiting, we just got the Comino ferry to Gozo, explored there for a few hours then head back to Malta on the main ferry, which we wish we’d done straight away. I’d avoid this and just do it yourself, as it’d be easier and safer.

The tour was canceled due to bad weather. We would have liked more then 1 hour notice as we paid for Bolt & when we were notified we were already on our way as the boat was on the other side of the island. The first page of the review should have something in case it was canceled, like it was for us. I cannotbq actually rate if we did not have the event.

One of the best trips we have experienced in Malta, the blue lagoon was stunning and sliding into the sea was so much fun. I would definitely recommend for a fun day out.

Nice boat ride, enough time at each location to swim, we did the 4hour 1pm trip, which was just the right length of time for my kids 11 and 8 years of age. I wouldn't recommend for much younger kids as the places you swim are deep so must be confident swimmers. Avoid windy days if you’re not a confident swimmer as the waves can make it a little choppy. Crew were all very pleasant to deal with. Only two points to feedback - It was a bit of a bum fight to board as everyone just crowded around the plank, they could really do with some queue ropes before you board so it helps ppl line up and get on the boat in an orderly manner, especially those with children and the elderly. The sink in the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner I don’t think there was much cleaning between our trip and the one before… overall we still had a lovely time as we are not mega fussy, but could be even better if these suggestions are taken on board 🙂

The value of the scenery for the money was great. Side note, confusion and little direction regarding bracelets needed get on the island. There is a tent area at the beginning of the peer, scan the QR code they have on a paper and fill out the app for a bracelet from the government to enter onto the island. It doesn’t cost a thing, but there are no instructions about it when you book and you need it (although no one seems to check it) Also, pack yourself a small cooler if you can with drinks/sandwiches/snacks. What they have on the boat is limited. Enjoy the beautiful water!

Perfect amount of time spent approx 4 hrs. Free time 1 and a half hrs on blue Lagoon and 40 mins on crystal lagoon. Pass by the caves/gozo/comino. Would recommend if looking for a half day trip.

I booked this half-day trip for our family of five as a budget-friendly, no-frills experience. It's very much a "get what you pay for" kind of outing, with minimal interaction from the boat staff and hardly any guided commentary along the way. If you're simply after a basic boat ride to the Blue Lagoon, it ticks that box. Just be aware that the Blue Lagoon itself is extremely overcrowded and quite touristy. During our one-hour stop, there wasn’t much to do beyond wading into the strikingly blue water, perhaps clutching a pineapple filled with a fruity cocktail and snapping endless Instagram-worthy photos.

Enjoyable half day out. There were clear announcements about what we were going to see and how much time we were going to spend at the Crystal lagoon and Blue lagoon. Selection of snacks and drinks on board. Boat crew were excellent.

Planned stop, as scheduled, 1 hour and a half, left first after only 45 minutes and then left us on the island. We had to take another boat, fortunately there was one, but only one, and pay 40 euros. We contacted the boat "Barbarossa" but they never responded. Zero seriousness. I dare not imagine if there had been no boat to take us back to Malta!

Balade en bateau sympathique.de beaux paysages. Un arrêt au lagon bleu d'1h30 très bien pour se balader et se baigner si le temps le permet. Deuxième arrêt de 2 minutes sans descendre à gozo,peu d'intérêt et aucune explication. 3eme arrêt à crystal lagon pendant 30 minutes au milieu de la mer sans descendre un peu long notamment avec des enfants. Nous aurions préféré descendre à gozo... Personnel sympathique .
