This is pricey but worth it if you can swing it and want a more personal experience. Captain Daniel was great, very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. The boat you will get is a mystery until it arrives, but our small group (3) got a correspondingly small boat (21’). It was big enough but one with a bit more shade would have been nice; onboard facilities were missed as well, not a lot of public facilities in the area either, but we survived. You can bring snacks aboard, would also bring some drinks, only a few bottles of water are provided (and it’s hot out there!) Had nice weather, made 3 swim stops, and were able to go some places the bigger boats cannot. Earlier departures generally mean smaller crowds and calmer seas. Would do this again, would bring more drinks, and would request Captain Daniel.

A great day that takes coordination (stay in touch with the company). First challenge is getting to the private boat, which this company does for you. However, you must be alert and aware and thank goodness for Joseph, our driver. Joseph got us to the private boat where John, our captain, found us. John then provided us with a lovely day of swimming and exploring on La Bella (his boat), while getting to swim in the crystal lagoon, the blue lagoon, passing the drinking elephant, and finally swimming in the beautiful Santa Marija Bay. Then back to the dock where Joseph was waiting for us to take us safely back to our cruise ship.

An amazing day trip. Private boat, snorkeling around clear blue waters, tour of caves and the beautiful landscape. Unfortunately our captain had been ripped out by the tour prior to us. They “went to go get cash” after their trip to pay him when their cards wouldn’t work, but instead just left. Worst part, they took multiple sets of snorkeling equipment too. Luckily there were extra and no one from my group went without. Lovely chat with the captain as well. Highly recommend.

Little trouble getting the car service to the ferry area. The boat we should have had had engine trouble. The boat and young man driving the boat was wonderful and incredibly accommodating. We saw the caves and swam in the crystal clear blue lagoons and sand beaches. They called ahead for our car service and the young man escorted us directly to the car so there was no issues and we returned to ship on time. They more then made up for the inconveniences earlier in the day. My family and I had a wonderful time! I recommend this excursion!

Highly recommend! We were a group of 10 including 1 child and we booked the 7 hour tour. We had a few stops at different lagoons including Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon as well as going to see Gozo. We had the option to get off the boat if needed as well as swimming as long as we wanted. Lots of shade and cold drinks included.

We scheduled this months in advance for a cruise. It was canceled while at sea the night before due to “extreme winds”. Water looked calm and forecast did not show high force winds on north end of Malta. If you are coming on a cruise beware you may have this cancelled. Seems they were oversold, or sold that boat to someone else. Not sure the condition of this boat. If the boat couldn’t handle normal calm weather conditions maybe we wouldn’t have had a good experience anyways.

Unfortunately this is one of the downsides of this tour, we are dependant on weather. If boat captain deems the weather unsafe this tour will not operate. We mention this clearly on the booking page. We are sorry this caused you inconvenience.

We went on this tour with kids aged 8 & 11, and grandparents. It was awesome. The cliffs, caves, and beautiful blue water were more impressive than expected. We got a bit unlucky with the weather, it was overcast the whole time and it rained at the tail end of our tour. But it was still fantastic and well worth it. Our tour guide David was really friendly, he was great and we wholeheartedly recommend him.

Unfortunately the company did not provide the boat shown in the picture and instead showed up with a much smaller one. The experience was not what we were promised and when I attempted to contact Chris he did not respond. Luckily we were able to get a refund but I would not recommend booking this boat.

The tour was excellent! Highly recommend! The only issue is aviator Rep insisted that pickup from hotel was included in the price, but the Operator started it wasn’t and I had to pay an extra 100 Euros for pickup and drop off on top of the 500++ for the charter.

The whole day was fantastic. Johnny, the captain did everything for us to have a good time: we went to the best beaches (inc Blue Lagoon but far away from the hords of turists), swam and snorkelled a lot, and in the end had a good lunch in Gozo as well.

Booked the tour for my Family of 8 for the Blue Lagoon tour. Let me start by Saying if we had received the boat as advertised it would be a 5, the tour guide Nicholas was fantastic and made the day fun for all. The issue we have is the boat advertised in the description was not the boat we had, we had a 20 foot speed boat no cover from the Sun and no facilities as described. I would say buyer be aware. To pay over $700 is dollars for this type of boat was not worth it. I’m sure the owner will come back and say well we were an afternoon tour and no other boats were available!

We are sorry the boat didn't meet your expectations either but we never advertise what kind of boat we offer. Depending on weather and boat availability we have a mixture of shaded touring boats and/or ribs . It all depends on client's desire as well.
Since you never gave us any particular interest towards one type of boat we went with the one that would offer the most space and reduce travel time for you.

They never came to pick us up from the location and by the time we found a taxi it was too late so we found our own transportation and found our own tour for 1 hr and came back . It was not a good experience. Viator peple are good but the people handling the boat transfer and were rude and not helpful.

Unfortunately this experience was all due to bad miscommunication from your end.
We messaged you multiple times asking if you want pickup, we contacted you via phone yet no replies.
On the day then you started panicking. In the end our boat captain waited for you for 4 hours and then we even discounted you another 2 hours.
We even had to call the authorities because you were so rude with us and tried to get things for free and also refunded for this tour when this was all completely negligence from your end.

We were given the option to upgrade our tour to a private boat tour and it was just fabulous! Our captain and guide, Atef, showed us all his favorite places and we had a wonderful day! My personal favorite was swimming under a huge arch into a cave that had a ceiling open to the sky. Incredible!

Nice guide, beautiful beaches, but on the trip, the guide functions as a glorified cab driver. The so called delicacies are Kinnies (local softdrink) in a plastic bottle and a ftira (bread) from a convenience store. Absolutely not worth my money. Could have done this myself with a little internet research.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with several things.
In the end it obviously comes down to opinion, but we clearly lay out the itinerary beforehand, what we will be offering and what not. We also give you the option to upgrade to a boat tour if a van version is not enough, which you chose not to.
In the end for the price you pay, you are getting a private tour from start to finish with someone taking care of you from start to finish and I can confidently say you got the best price you can find for on the island.
For the food, same story. We clearly lay out beforehand that this is more of a snack than a full lunch, and as promised, they are local maltese traditional snacks after beach swimming.
Not sure what more we can do with the price you pay apart from laying out from start to finish what we offer.
We hope to welcome you again to Malta and change your mind.

Wir waren zu 9 und hatten wirklich eine richtig Schöne Zeit. Der ganze Ausflug war super entspannt von Jeffery organisiert. Wir haben diverse Buchten angesteuert und die Kommunikation mit Jeffery war super einfach. Er ist voll auf uns eingegangen und somit lief alles problemlos. An Board war eine große Kühltruhe voll mit Eis, in dem wir unseren eigenen Getränke kaltstellen konnten. Das war wirklich super. Das Boot ist sauber und es gibt Sitz und Liegeflächen. Und auch Schatten! Außerdem hat Jeffery ein Stand up paddle dabei, welches wir nutzen durften. Auch eine super Erfahrung. Also das wirklich das Highlight für viele aus unserer Gruppe bei unserem Malta Aufenthalt. Klare Empfehlung von uns!
