Cuenca is an extremely beautiful and interesting place to visit, and the small group format, with no more than six in the group is a particularly pleasant way to share the trip experience.
The single factor that transforms a good day into a memorable day is the quality of the tour guide, who is essentially there to ensure that everyone on the trip has a positive experience. On this trip we were particularly fortunate to be looked after by Tim, who was very welcoming, personable and attentive throughout the day. Thank you Tim - you did a great job!

the City is amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable, the winery is a little underwhelming to be honest. The winemaker is fairly new at making wine and you tell by the taste. First thing i smelled in most of the varieties was alcohol. But you make the best of the situation and drink up. Our group was amazing which made the day a good one.

This is amazing tour. Pablo is the best tour guide we had him twice this week and he was wonderful - the city itself is a steep walk. The winery was not fancy on the outside but was the best time with the Enrique the wine maker and his lovely family I will remember this tour for ever.

This is a very attractive tour, to a city southeast of Madrid, which has all the enchantments of the cliffs, Cathedral, history and not so crowded roads and plazas. Very well recommended for a day trip combined with a visit to the Bodega of Enriaue Moreno in the area was an excellent choice.

When I booked the tour, unfortunately due to insufficient participants, I was rebooked to another tour which is Salamanca and Avila. The tour guide Andres was fantastic, he explained every detail about the place we visited.
We went to a restaurant in Salamanca which provides amazing local cuisine that I like it a lot.

This company is horrendous. Do not book unless you have time to waste. They told us we need 4 person for minimum to go on experience a month ago, then decided night before they want 6 person minimum. They confirmed 4 people 1 week ago, but then said it wasn’t enough for their money gaining purposes. We sent an screenshot of evidence showing 4 person minimum, they said they changed their policy that day and that they won’t accept. Options were to pay the difference of the extra people, switch to another tour that was worth less money to a different city and get no refund or change the date to only 1 day of their choice. They then tried 3 times to force us to go to a day we will not be here for. Would never recommend. Extremely disappointed. They are not interested in you having a good experience and will cancel you last minute with no regard.

The reservation was made for two participants, and from the very beginning—clearly stated both on the product page and in the confirmation email sent immediately after booking—this experience requires a minimum of four participants to operate.
At no point was a minimum of six participants communicated, nor were the conditions changed the night before the tour.
As the minimum number of participants was not met, and in accordance with our standard policy, we offered all available alternatives:
Completing the group by covering the cost of the two additional spots required to reach the minimum.
Switching to other experiences of equal value (none were of lower value).
Changing the tour date.
When none of these options were accepted, we proceeded—exactly as stated in our booking conditions—to issue a full 100% refund, with no penalties.
Our priority is always to provide high-quality experiences and to operate with full transparency. In this case, all terms communicated at the time of booking were respected, and the customer received a complete refund when the tour could not take place.

Tour was amazing would give 5 star but the transportation was a small size suv and if there was more than the 3 of us it would have been too crowded. Our tour guide was great and the winery owner is an amazing man we had a wonderful time visiting with him.

This was truly one of the best tours I’ve experienced! Our guide, Andrés, was fantastic — knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly helpful. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best time possible.
The places we visited felt more “off the beaten path.” The city of Cuenca was absolutely stunning — full of history and beautiful architecture, yet without the heavy crowds of tourists. It felt like discovering a hidden gem.
The vineyard stop at the end was another highlight. Enrique was a wonderful host, and it’s clear how much love and thought he’s poured into building his vineyard from the ground up. The wine was incredible!
TIP!!! Bring cash if you’d like to purchase a bottle to take home.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Madrid who wants a unique, authentic, and unforgettable experience.

We had soooo much fun! It was an increíble trip! Our guide was Andrés! He is an amazing tour guide, kind, fun and knowledgable!! It was a pleasure to enjoy the day with him and we were lucky to have a great group of people to share this adventure! We are also thankful for Enrique at the Vineyard! His wines are so good and he was a nice host! Thanks for this wonderful tour!
Note: If you are on a bigger size asked the company for what car they will use. It is literally a car.

This is a small group tour (6max) but today only 3 of us plus Andres and Ines our tour guide and driver. Drive to Cuenca was in a comfortable air conditioned car. Cuenca was a beautiful town, not spoiled by too many tourists. Andres took us on a walk through the town pointing out the places of interest and telling us about the history. The scenery was spectacular. After visiting the cathedral we went for lunch at a recommended restaurant. The food was delicious but quite a lot! We then travelled to a small artesanal winery. Enrique the owner was a real character. He proudly showed us his vineyard and told us how he makes his wine followed by lots of tastings with food. This was a great part of the tour and one we will remember. The whole day was enjoyable and was great getting to know everyone. Thank you Andres and Ines

After much research to plan my only free day in Madrid, I selected this tour on 1/26 for a 5/18 experience. The night before the experience, the Tour Operator contacted me to cancel the tour advising something might be closed - which evidently could not have been anticipated during the 4 months prior that the tour was confirmed. They advised no other tour available that day. I was extremely disappointed as there were multiple other tours I could have selected to avoid losing my only free sightseeing day to explore Spain outside of Madrid. A refund was given immediately.

You must be able to walk uneven stairs, steep inclines and declines. If so, it’s well worth the effort. The scenery was gorgeous, the guides very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Cuenca’s history. The vineyard owner is quite a charming host, and he provided delicious homemade snacks with the wine tasting. It was great being in such a small group; I didn’t feel rushed when I stopped to take pictures, and the guides were eager to answer questions.
