Tim was our tour guide and he did an excellent job! He gave us lots of information but did not overwhelm us. He was very caring and patient will everyone in our group. I highly recommend this tour with Tim!

A wonderful small group tour of Segovia and Toledo. Our tour guide and driver, Tim, was knowledgeable about Spain's history, geography and architecture, a safe driver, and most importantly, warm, funny and genuine. I joined solo, but met a lovely couple and family, which made the day even better. We (the 6 of us plus Tim) were in an air-conditioned minivan, which was spacious enough. Both Segovia and Toledo are gorgeous, though we spent more time in Segovia, where the aquaduct and castle were highlights. The day was jam packed, so there was no time for shopping and only quick stops to eat, but worth it considering the beautiful sites that awaited us. Most of the restroom breaks were at gas stations/small restaurants (bring kleenex in case of toilet paper shortage). A hat and comfortable shoes are a must since the sun was fierce and we walked a fair amount, sometimes on an incline. Water bottles were provided in the van. While not a leisurely day, the tour is highly recommended to see storybook Segovia and Toledo, learn a bit of Spanish history, and engage with a small number of like-minded travelers.

When making a concious decision to spend a little extra money on booking an experience, you truly expect a bit more. The only thing true about the tour is that it was six people, but we were crammed into an uncomfortable nightmare of small car and to top it off, with a tour guide that did not deliver at all in knowledge. Pablo our tour guide was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, humorous and fun to spend the day with . Tim our driver and guide in training was pleasant as well . Did a great job looking over our group and getting us between destinations. Our group of four were all very happy and appreciative of both guides . I shared this feedback privately with the tour company (via the booking chat in Viator app where we had been communicating) and have not received a response. It was our guide’s first time guiding a tour on their own and it was obvious right from the start. Some basic questions were asked and they didn’t know the answer and promised to get it to us. While the answer was eventually provided, we had already looked it up on our own. As the day progressed we were using Apple Maps and Google to learn about the cities, buildings and sights because the guide just didn’t know the history of the locations.
The responsibility for the guide’s training and preparation rests solely with the tour company so I am not sharing the name of the guide. The guide was a safe driver and tried in earnest to provide us a good experience, they simply weren’t ready to host a solo trip which made for a frustrating day for us.
I recommend visiting Toledo and Segovia and recommend staying away from this tour operator as it is luck of the draw with guides.

A day trip to Segovia and Toledo with a small group of 5. The host was able to guide us in both English and Spanish easily and made everyone feel very welcome. We spent more time in Segovia (the Aquaducts, cathedral, castle, and lunch) and then walked a bit in Toledo. We were more interested in the Aquaducts and castle so this worked for us. It is a big day so there wasn't time to see more of Toledo but we felt we still got to see the highlights. Andres is a Segovia local so the lunch option was a great pick with a lot of options for different diets. He was very accommodating to anyone who wanted to get souviners and was a great translator as we got to know some of the other guests.

Our tour to Segovia & Toledo started off in the morning where after a pleasant drive to Segovia through lovely countryside our tour began in Segovia. Ines, our guide provided an a exceptionally wonderful experience of this historic town full of interesting venues. The exquisite visit was highlighted by a fabulous lunch where we, and four very pleasant fellow participants from New Zealand experienced a traditional lunch at a very prominent restaurant. After lunch and a brief visit to the impressive aqueducts, we set off for Toledo. Unfortunately, we experienced unfortunate issues with our private minivan. Despite yeoman efforts from Ines and the Tour Operator to resolve the issue in an expeditious manner which would permit us to continue on to Toledo to complete our tour, it was determined the best option was to transfer us to another vehicle and return back to Madrid. The Tour Operator was very apologetic and made arrangements for our four new friends from New Zealand to complete their tour to Toledo at a mutually convenient time later that week. Unfortunately, we had a flight home that next day, however, the Tour Operator graciously offered us a 50% refund which we considered to be quite fair and appropriate. Despite our the unfortunate experience during the second leg of our tour, my wife and I both are very comfortable giving this tour a 5-Star rating. Ines and the Tour Operator demonstrated to us a high degree of professionalism, customer care and dedication to excellence!

It was a small group with 1 other couple and Andres, a wonderful guide, so very in-depth, personal experience. It was a long day visiting Segovia and Toledo but loved both towns. Could have easily spent all day in just 1 town each. If I had to choose favorite visit between 2 towns, it was Segovia with aqueduct, great little shops and outstanding lunch at Meson de Candido where owner came out and gave traditional demonstration of cracking a suckling pig skin with plate and then shattering plate on floor. Very dramatic!!
