The time was changed from 11:30 to 1 pm then moved to a different starting location. We walked over to the new spot 20 mins away) then it was canceled at 12:30 this left us no time to book any other tours that day.

Probably worst walking tour in my experience

The trip started on the wrong foot; got word it would start late. Then the guide contacted us and refused to give us any answers on how to identify her; an umbrella? A flag? A sign? Just assurances everything would be alright. Then we couldn’t understand her. Initially , we thought it was the cheap audio equipment before we figured out it was just her. How awful! She gushed over all the stores and hotels of luxury, the royalty, and the elite in power. So if you are avaricious, you might love the tour. I would have much rather heard about the Moorish wall 25 Ft from where we were standing…that never was mentioned.

To be honest we didnt enjoy it... 1. The meeting point changed to the Royal Palace and we were not briefed about the royal palace or even about the Cathedral opposite it. 2. At different other monuments there was no time given to take pictures at each spot. 3. Some landscapes like the bear and tree symbol of madrdid was show to us from a distance of 400miles 4. The tour was so short that it ended in about 1hr..

Underwhelming

Commentary was very basic and tour finished half an hour earlier than expected. We also started late because the guide had lost a guest at his previous stop and we were left waiting like lemons in the rain. The guide also took a call during the tour which I discovered when I asked him to repeat something. Underwhelmed big time. Shame, because Madrid is a beautiful City.

This trip never happened to me. The guide never showed up twice and canceled the trip once. At the time the guide didn’t offer private trips and she didn’t have enough people people to continue with offered trip. Viator confirmed but trip operator didn’t so, I waisted my time and money getting to the meeting point 3 times and no one showed up. I would not recommend this trip Sorry
