Our driver, Steve, was fantastic. Though he was not a "guide", it was clear he put in the time to learn about some of the sights we would see and directed us exactly where to go - which avoided longer lines we would have otherwise likely found ourselves in.

This tour is a must-do! David was such a great guide—so friendly, easygoing, and really knowledgeable. He picked us up at our hotel and made the whole day feel effortless. We loved exploring Windsor Castle, seeing Stonehenge in person, and ending in beautiful Bath. He shared so many interesting details along the way that really brought everything to life. Honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip—would absolutely recommend!

Dariusz was an excellent driver and guide. He was personable, professional, and made the entire trip easy and enjoyable. He’s was very communicative and responsive. He even called ahead to a lovely out of the way pub for lunch, which was a nice contrast to London.

We highly recommend Christopher if you want a top-notch tour in or around London! He was prompt and friendly when greeting us for our full-day's outing to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. He curated the tour to include the little extras that elevate a good tour to a great one! He kept us on time throughout the day without being rushed, all the while offering interesting stories and fun facts about the sights. Great way to explore outside of London and see some major sights. Christopher was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide for our family of 4 (with two adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 5). If you have small kids, group tours are hard so we typically do private tours so we can go at our own pace. We had a great tour of Windsor castle and then went to Stonehenge. The weather was cold/rainy but we got to see a lot and had a lovely lunch at a local pub afterwards. We opted to skip the Roman Baths because it would have made for a long day for the kids but it was nice to get back to London a bit earlier and in time for dinner. Chris gave us some great history and background of what we were seeing and was really kind and patient with our kiddos. Would highly recommend this tour for families and specifically Chris as a guide.

Eddie was our driver and it was absolutely the highlight of our stay in England! Not only did Eddie make sure we got to all the stops on our tour he had numerous picture stops and historical background along the way that we couldn’t even have know to ask for. The whole way he was happy to handle our barrage of questions about the UK and all of our stops. You’ll love it!

We paid for a private guided tour. All we had was a cab driver. This was a disappointment. We were picked up late, but we did get to the destinations. He gave us no information, and when asked what river we were driving by he didn't know and had to look it up. He was nice but did not know where he was going. Made a few wrong turns and got us there later than we were told to get tickets for. Thank goodness they still let us in. Because of the delays, we got to Bath just as they were closing, so frustrating! If we pay for a guide we should get a guide!

I'm not quite sure this is a truthful review.
We are conducting tours in a large city..
Occasionally traffic does cause us problems.
Where this person was staying is a long way through London and can then mean the tour has to be changed a little.
We try our best.but have no control over traffic issues.
If you are trying to do 3 venues in 1 day.
This leads to being at each venue for less time.
Bath us a 3 hour drive back to.london.
It does lead to disappointment.
From safety and legal issues.
The driver can only be out for so long.
Hope this helps.
Once again.
Please. These are not blue bade guided tours.
They are driver guided tours.
They will give you history on each site.
And help you inside and meet you at required time.
All my drivers know exactly where to go.
Maybe they do make the wrong turn now and again.

Our guide David was just amazing, gave us all the background to enjoy each of the places we visited. Was flexible to adapt to herding 4 kids and finding us an amazing place for lunch in Windsor for after our tour. This is just perfect for two families of 4.

Too much to do in one day! Tour operator originally said we weren’t on his schedule. He sent a driver, not guide, who picked us up close to 1 1/2 hours after our scheduled 8 AM time. We rushed through each stop to keep on schedule. Do not recommend - especially for the price. Admission tickets for each venue had to be purchased separately.

As you know we had this conversation on the day.
I can only say for some reason your booking did not appear on my calender.
Once you phoned and we realised the problem.
We agreed I would send a replacement last minute.
We agreed he was not a guide.just a driver.
You did not want the tour to be cancelled.
I managed to get him there ASAP.
1.5 hrs was very good.
This did put us behind schedule.
You did manage to see all the venues .yes a little rushed.
It says on the website. Tickets are not included.
You also knew this before and I sent links.
Very easy to do.
The reason for this is that people have cancelled in the past and not paid for the tickets.
We honour these tours in good faith.
This was a very unusual situation.
I'm so sorry.
If you come back again.

Regarding too much in 1 day.

This is not a “tour” but for a driver only. Our guide provided no information on the places we visited nor engaged in any conversation. He drove us to Windsor castle and Stonehenge. I believe this is tour is misrepresented. Other reviews comment on the wonderful history given by the guide....this was not the case for us.

This tour was booked as a driver guide.
This was explained on the first correspondence. They agreed to take the tour with this knowledge.
The driver does not go inside the venues.
I have spoken to this guide.
He explained he gave the group ample conversation and history on the venues.
He said he cant understand why they did not complain during the trip that lasted 12 hrs. Visited all the venues with no complaints.
If there was a problem. He could have ended the trip early and given a refund.
They also gave him a tip and said great job.
They were given extra time and lots of information.
I think this is a very unfair review.
To give a 1 star.
After finishing the tour.No mention to myself or the driver that they were unhappy.
Not correct in any way.
Just a client wanting a refund.
The customer was collected on time. Given 2 hrs extra.visited all the venues. Given conversation and historical facts.
To give a 1 star is totally unreasonable in every way..
They had a wonderful experience.
Were told lots of history.
Managed to see all the venues.
Was picked up in a luxury mini van.
Supplied snacks and soft drinks.
They were not guided inside the venues on this occasion.
They were warned of this in advance.
I'm sorry if they feel that there experience was not good for them.
Most of our reviews are 5 star.
On this occasion they were warned in advance. We had 1 driver left open.
More a driver guide than a full guide.
They decided to go ahead with the tour.
This was the xmas period. Very busy at the venues.
Just a warning.
On peak times. Easter.summer and xmas. It can get very busy at the venues. We also get booked very early.
I can only apologise that these clients booked very late.

Our group of 6 adults enjoyed a full day of touring with David Stubbs of London Country Tours, despite the cancellation of Windsor Castle. First we stopped in Salisbury at the Cathedral where we viewed the Magna Carta in this gorgeous Cathedral. Then it was off to Bath where we toured the amazing Roman Baths in this charming town. Finally we stopped at Stonehenge to see the stones. It was a full but satisfying day of touring with an expert guide.
