Itinerary
Depart from a centrally located spot in London and climb aboard a luxury coach. Admire the English countryside as you travel to Leeds Castle, an ancient fortification located amid 500 acres (202 hectares) of parkland.
On arrival, enjoy a tour of the fortification. Admire priceless tapestries and opulent accessories as you stroll the castle’s chambers, and attempt to conquer the mystifying maze in the grounds.
Return to your coach and travel on to Canterbury, the home of English Christendom and Canterbury Cathedral. Enjoy a break for lunch (own expense) and then choose to navigate the charming labyrinth of Canterbury’s medieval quarter independently or opt to head inside the cathedral on a guided tour to delve deeper into its turbulent and fascinating past.
Next, venture to Dover to gaze at the region’s White Cliffs. Capture photographs of the arresting coastal landmark and marvel at the cliffs that stand 400 feet (122 meters) above sea level. See the 800-year-old Dover Castle on its cliff-top perch, and then return to your vehicle for the journey back to London, where the tour concludes.

Wish Dover Castle was included. Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral were amazing with so much history. Phil our tour guide was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Marlon our driver was excellent and even was able to give us a special stop to view France and Dover Castle.

I am disappointed with the white cliffs that was awful and told to use the most smelly and dirty beach bathroom. Leeds castle was a huge let down. It was so small and done in 20 minutes. Go to Windsor or buckingham place for a better experience. Then I paid for the church with my tour. The tour guide ignored my request and I messaged Viator to help with it. I had to pay $70 pounds just for my family and I to go to the church. That was pricey. Don’t waste your time or money with this tour.

The tour was extremely interesting and even though it's a long day, it's a good amount of stops and time with the travel time. Canterbury Cathedral was a dream to see. My only comment about the cliffs is that I assumed we would drive at the top and see the view from the cliffs. The view is from the sea level and beach, so know that before going. Lesley was a great tour guide and had a breadth of knowledge and a very soothing voice!

The tour guide knew her history and was very educational to listen to. Of every tour guide in London, enjoyed this one most! The bus driver, (Tony ;) friendly and accommodating. Canterbury cathedral is beautiful. The story of the "Watchers" protecting it during the World War, touching. Sites and scenery, lovely. Would recommend bringing snacks or sandwiches, and beverages. You do get to put your toes in the English Channel, but won't be able to touch the Cliffs of Dover. If you want up close might explore boating options or going elsewhere? I really don't have the answer as an outsider visiting. We still enjoyed our day very much! Leeds Castle from Queens to an American prior to given away, was an unexpected twist. As Americans, our group enjoyed that fact. If you are in London a few days and looking to explore and get out of the city, this might be a great option!

Great view of the White Cliffs of Dover from the shore. We also drove past a point from which Dover Castle could be seen, which was great. Leeds castle was a fun place to stop and take in the culture and the town of Canterbury was nice as well . The cliffs of Dover were very disappointing as we were very far away from them and any pictures you take are very ordinary . I have been to the cliffs of Dover before and previously the bus drive right up on top of the cliffs which apparently doesn’t happen anymore . We also only stopped for 20 minutes at the cliffs of Dover .
It was an ok experience but in my view not worth the price all up

One of the main attractions for booking the trip was to experience the Dover cliffs. This was completely opposite to what the description indicated. We were not even close to the cliffs. We got to see it from very far from a beach on Dover. There was a 20 minute stop for a photo opportunity. But we were miles away. It was more a Dover beach stop. If we had known we would have never taken this trip.

While poor Cameron demonstrated his thespian expertise and proclaimed our tour group one of his favorites, three women who'd wandered off from the cauldron of Macbeth did their best to upstage his performance, and their constant chatter had him at his wits’ end. On top of that, our collective inability to hoot and holler when prompted elicited a review of 1 out of 10 from the same host pretending to sing our praises. Nonetheless, he was a genial and entertaining guide, and Marlon an excellent driver. Unfortunately the stops on the tour itself were less than rave-worthy. The walk through Leeds Castle, while pretty, is more about the 20th-century socialite who kept it from falling down than its long history before that, and at Canterbury we had time for the cathedral and a quick bite to eat but not much else. The less said about the 25 minutes in Dover the better. The photo provided in the advertising shows an orchestra view of the white cliffs, but we witnessed a shimmer in the far distance for about 15 seconds — and a gray smudge of castle perched beyond a ten-story hotel — then a curtain of fog closed across the scene, and we headed back on the busy road to London, where the newly erected high rises offered more spectacle.

The trip was overall wonderful! Just keep in mind that the last stop at the Dover Cliffs is only a walk along the beach with a view of them. I was fine with that, but there’s no castle visit or anything particularly spectacular to expect at the final destination. Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral were absolutely amazing!

A great tour and an informative guide. Before this tour I never knew the Leeds Castle was mainly popular for the queens of England. The Cathedral of Canterbury is so pretty and the site where Thomas Beckett was murdered by jealous King Henry is still preserved as it was. The White Cliffs of Dover was beautiful and on that day we could see France from a distance.

This is a well paced day - covers a lot of ground but does not feel rushed. Time at Leeds Castle allows for a good look through the public areas of the building and the grounds. Photo stop at the cliffs of Dover was sufficient to get excellent photos. Time in Canterbury allows for a really thorough look at the Cathedral, or a faster look and time to explore the town. Our guide Manon was knowledgable and provided lots of interesting additional information and Sunil did a great job getting the coach safely to where we needed to be.
