If visiting krakow, this would be a must, very educational and interesting. Would highly recommend l

The guide was very good but we felt we needed more time to read things and look at more pictures etc. Maybe booking ourselves would've been better for us.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the guide and the information provided during the tour. We also understand your point about having more time to read and explore the exhibits at your own pace. Guided tours are structured within a limited timeframe, but we truly value your comment and will take it into consideration. Best regards, Maciek

This experience was not what we expected. Although it was a factory, it is actually a museum which follows the timeline of Nazi occupation in Poland with very well documented photographs, maps, propaganda leaflets etc. Would recommend having a tour guide as you really need one to gain an insight of what it was like at the time and to sift through the endless information that is on offer. The timeline is on a daily basis, highlighting just how quickly the city was occupied.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you very much for your feedback! 😊
We would like to clarify that this is exactly how the Schindler Factory Museum is designed. It is a historical museum located in the former factory building, and its permanent exhibition presents the timeline of the Nazi occupation of Kraków and Poland through photographs, documents, maps, propaganda materials, and many other exhibits.
The content and theme of the exhibition are clearly described in the official museum information, as we are only responsible for organizing the guided tour and providing guiding services, not for the museum’s exhibition itself.
We are glad to hear that you found the material detailed and informative, and we agree that a guided tour can help to better understand the extensive historical context presented in the museum.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts!
Best regards,
Maciej

The Schindler factory is a must see if you’re in Krakow. It’s very well laid out in how it tells the story of pre-war, the occupation and what happened afterwards. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about what she spoke of and I believe may have had some family experience with what happened. The only thing I would say could’ve been better is the volume in the headphones we were wearing, it was difficult to hear at times with the ambient noise. But overall great tour that I would highly recommend.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback! 😊
We’re delighted to hear that you found the Schindler Factory tour so impactful and well structured, and that the guide’s knowledge and passion made the experience even more meaningful.
We also appreciate your comment regarding the headphone volume and ambient noise. This is very helpful and will be shared with our team to improve the listening experience for future guests.
Thank you again for your recommendation — we truly appreciate it!
Best regards,
Maciej

Great walk through history of Poland during occupation but not a lot of information about Schindlers factory, what he did or why and didn’t even get to see the factory
Our guide was very knowledgable but we learnt very little about him or the factory
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you very much for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that you appreciated the guide’s knowledge and the historical context about Poland during the occupation.
At the same time, we would like to kindly clarify that the structure and content of the exhibition are defined by the museum itself. The narrative focus, as well as what is or isn’t included (such as detailed information about Oskar Schindler or access to the factory space), is entirely determined by the museum’s curatorial concept and not by us as tour organizers or guides.
We understand that this can sometimes differ from visitors’ expectations, but we always work within the framework provided by the museum.
Thank you again for your feedback and for joining the tour.
Best regards, Maciej

We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again!

Very good tour - would defineytly recommend a tour guide rather than just walking around as very informative
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your kind feedback! We’re glad you found the tour very informative and that having a guide made the experience more valuable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again!

The experience was good, the tour guide was very knowledgeable on the subject and friendly. However due to the amount of visitors, surrounding noise like recordings playing in the background and the actual visitors made hearing some details quite impossible. The tour should be carried out with headphones.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and the guide’s knowledge and friendliness. We understand the noise can make hearing difficult during busy times. We’ll take your suggestion about headphones into consideration. We hope to welcome you again!

Maciej

Humbling experience! Everyone should do this tour if in Krakow. The salt mine portion was very interesting
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the experience humbling and that the salt mine was so interesting. It’s great to hear the tour left such an impression. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again!

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take part in the tour due to a mix-up in communication, as the IDs we had weren’t accepted for entry.
That said, the guides and agency staff were absolutely fantastic, incredibly helpful, understanding, and professional throughout the situation.
I would strongly recommend that anyone planning to visit brings a physical ID rather than a photo, as they won’t be accepted.
The office team handled everything very well. They were supportive, apologetic, and have arranged a full refund, which we really appreciated.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry you couldn’t join due to ID requirements. For entry, a physical ID is mandatory and photos aren’t accepted—thank you for highlighting this. We’re glad our team could assist and arrange a refund. We hope to welcome you again!
Best regards,
Maciej

Knowledgeable guides and really interesting place, I would recommend visiting here before going to Auchwitz.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the guides knowledgeable and the place interesting. Visiting beforehand can indeed provide helpful context before Auschwitz. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another experience!

Exceptional guide. Unfortunately we didn’t realise that we needed photo identification but that was not an issue as we were just booked onto the next tour so we felt really greatfull that we didn’t miss out.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your kind feedback! We’re delighted the guide made such a great impression. We understand the situation with photo ID can be unexpected, but we’re glad it was quickly resolved and you could join the next tour. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again!

Maciej

Even though I had been before, my partner hadn’t. The tour is not just about Oskar Schindler, but about Krakow pre and post war.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad the tour offered value even for a repeat visit and helped provide a broader view of Krakow before and after the war. It’s great your partner could discover it for the first time. We hope to welcome you again!
Best regards,
Maciej

Although tickets bought way in advance, time changed and was assured this would be fine. On arrival was told this was not the case and along with 2 other couples with same change of booking time we had to continuously ask what was happening. Eventually we managed to go on tour which was brilliant but felt that Viator had let us down on their organisation of this trip.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion regarding the booking time and understand how frustrating this must have been. Please note that Viator is a separate platform and their booking procedures are managed independently. We’re glad you could still join the tour and enjoy it. We hope to welcome you again!
Best regards,
Maciej

This tour is NOT about Schindler but moreover about treatment of the Jews of Krakow during WWII.
Our guide, Fil, was very knowledgeable and made the tour very entertaining.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your opinion! Yes, the museum tells the history of Krakow during WWII, so it’s a very touching and moving experience, and our guide Fil can always get everyone interested in history. Hope to see you again on some other of our tours!
Morna_N, Mar 2026
The tour was very interesting and informative and the exhibitions were outstanding, giving us an idea of what it was like at the time.
The only criticism is that it was rather rushed so we feel that exhibitions might have been missed.
We would definitely recommend the public to visit this sight.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you very much for your opinion. We are glad you enjoyed the museum and find its story interesting. The little rush occurres sometimes due to logistical reasons. But we are sure that our guide made sure that you learned the whole story about which the museum is devoted.
Kali_T, Mar 2026
Just to set the scene, this isn’t an actual tour of Schindler’s factory (which is now a museum), it is a museum based in Schindler’s offices. That being said, it was really interesting. The guide was really knowledgeable and interesting and the museum is well designed to take you through the journey of the information.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your opinion. Indeed, the museum is not a factory nowadays, but it presents a touching and immersing story of Krakow during World War II. We are glad you enjoyed that and find our guide professional.

Terrible experience
Not what I was led to believe what I booked
Booked with tour guide English , then changed times twice from 1.10 , 4.10 then 4.00 arrived and no guided tour only tickets
Refusal to acknowledge even with confirmation and messages stating guided tour
Cassie_S, Feb 2026
Easy from start to finish. Would recommend. Guided tour helped to understand the history of WW2 & Schindler.
David_F, Feb 2026
Really interesting and not what I was expecting. If you are thinking the reality reflects the film you soon learn it doesn't.
This is more then about Schindler, it is about Poland and the years either side of the war.
Guide was hugely knowledgeable, really enjoyed the 90 minutes or so.
TeresaFarmer_F, Feb 2026
Not to book through your excursions.
Arrived on time and time had been changed to a later time and we were not informed.
Matthew_T, Jan 2026
The tour was good, the guide knowledgeable. My main complaint is that we were rushed through the museum, skipping some of the exhibits and not always getting the chance to take photos. We had a tour group ahead of us and behind us the whole time, so unless you wanted to lose your group by taking photos or reading more you had to stay with the group. We put our bags and jumpers (it is hot and often crowded inside) in a locker before we entered, the tour guide had the key so that was another reason to stay close to the tour rather than looking at the exhibits. We had 90 minutes inside, the tour guide (not her fault) although very good was rushed, given a script to read out in each room which she did and then moved on. Overall, if I had my time again, I would go in on my own, with my own research, going through the museum at my own pace.
Madison_R, Jan 2026
It was a good, informational tour of Schindler’s factory, but it was a bit too big of a group. I still enjoyed it though.
Marco_v, Dec 2025
Its definitely worth having a guide with this tour. The guide provides the context making the tour come to life rather than it being a collection of pictures and objects.
The museum is a personal account of the people during the war in krakov whilst the Auschwitz tour brings home the scale of the horror.
Well worth spending 1.5-2hrs here. There is also a tour which focusses more on aspects of the famous film.
Mark_C, Dec 2025
Excellent discussion of full context of Krakow under Nazi occupation and its relevance to daily activities at Schindler’s factory.
Sarah_S, Dec 2025
This was well organised and informative, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was so busy when we arrived so make sure you don’t join the queue (my husband was worried people would think we were pushing in!) so stand at the side and wait for your guide. We were standing on the wrong side in the queue but they called me to ask me to make my way to the front door which was much appreciated.
You can leave your coats safely in the reception as it’s quite warm on the tour.
Alan_R, Dec 2025
Good and interesting tour. Takes about 1.5hrs. Quite warm inside but leave coats and bags in secure locker. Need ti get tickets in advice with a guide is the best way.
Joanne_D, Dec 2025
Our tour guide was Alice
She was fantastic
Just the way she told the stories and her empathetic tone of voice, this made her tour so interesting. Highly recommend this tour.
Really excellent insight into world war 2
Rebecca_B, Dec 2025
Very informative and educational. The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The pnly downfall of the tour is that you go through each exhibit so quickly you don't get to absorb everything.
