What are people saying about Krakow

Come for the food stay for the host!
Konrad is among the best food tour host I've experienced!
He gives each guest personal attention and informs the group of not only culinary but local history!
Old Town Krakow is very accessable for walking and the food is great. Konrad also gives recommendations for other places to visit after the tour.
Book early in your trip to help find more hidden gems.

Our guide, David, was...
Our guide, David, was fantastic - really helpful and knowledgeable. Take some warmer clothes as it tends to feel a little cooler in the mountain regions. A wonderful trip - the local smoked cheese is delicious, and the wooden homes full of charm and character!

Our tour guide was...
Our tour guide was lovely! There’s plenty of opportunities for getting delicious food accompanied by plenty of opportunity for getting your daily steps in, for sure. Looking back, we feel the tour could be improved by a possible addition of a protein/vegetable-heavy food stop, or two. Totally recommend, regardless.

Mom and daughter trip
My daughter and I signed up for the pub crawl and we’re a little nervous but we had an amazing time! The 2 guys and 2 ladies who were the pub crawl leaders were all very kind and fun. There was constant communication when we leave and where we will be going. They frequently checked in on us to make sure we were doing well. There was zero pressure to drink but just to have fun. There was no pressure to play a drinking game but was totally fine to sit back and watch everyone be silly. My daughter 27 and I 54 felt very safe the whole time. The crew leader was great and kept everyone in line.

Excellent food tour - well worth the money
Julia was an excellent guide who took us to bars and restaurants we would never have found. Throughout the tour we tried many different Polish foods and drinks, all of which were excellent, but special mention to the lemon vodka. Julia was also very helpful and informative. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in food and drink, with a bit of general knowledge about Poland thrown in.

Cracking Food Tour
An excellent insight into real polish food and history from a polish national. Tasted many different things from zapikanki, pierogi, polish bagels, 2 types of highland cheese, 2 types of sausage, sauerkraut, pickles and a donut with rosehip jam. Oh and grass vodka! All delish!! Our tour guide, Carolina was warm, friendly and loved to hear the stories of her childhood in krakow. Totally recommend this trip, excellent value for money

A Real Salty Experience
Wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience better. You need to pace yourself because you’ll travel down three levels in about to two hours. I don’t recommend this activity if you’re claustrophobic. You’ll travel through some tight spaces. But all in all a wonderful experience.

Magnificent Margaret
Our afternoon with Margaret was contemporary and historical with her weaving the history of Kraków – the kings, battles, government, architecture and paintings of castles, cathedrals, churches, universities and buildings - throughout our walk / afternoon together. There were not only suggested places and times to visit in more depth, but also restaurants and even spots to stand to take photos and capture the best memory.
When we returned to tour the Wawel Cathedral and Castle, the information she had given, helped us to understand and make connections with / from the audio tour guide.
Brava Margaret!

Peter the driver was brilliant and the knowledge he had was amazing 1st stop was a little hut where we tried a polish cheese lot like halloumi and cherry vodka
Then we moved on to a village called chocholow where the houses are made of wood like log cabins then we moved on to zakopane where we went on the funicular tram up the mountain hah a chocolate drink and a fruit waffle with cream then we came down and walked round the market then we all got back on board and went to thermal springs this was great a must do tour you get plenty of time at zakopane and the springs so no rush we got picked up from our hotel at 8am and did not get back till about 6pm a must do tour

Awesome vodka Tour
Tosia was an amazing guide for the Vodka tour. She gave us the history of Vodka in Poland and showed us various bars for Vodka and took us to an amazing Perogie place as a break. Hats off to Tosia for making our last evening in Krakow an amazing experience!!!

Much more than a food tour!
Aleksandra was a fantastic guide - she was so energetic and enthusiastic about sharing stories, traditions and Polish customs. We were in town for a wedding, and she let us know what to expect. She was absolutely right! The food on the tour was delicious, and there was a nice mix of a food cart, two restaurants, and a traditional bakery. We did not feel surrounded by other tourist groups, but rather felt like we were dining with a friend from Krakow who was sharing her favorite places with us. Loved the experience!

Great food tour experience l - highly recommend
We loved our guide (Karolina?) and this tour! We stopped for a famous Krakow street food similar to a bagel, then headed to a highly rated restaurant (Morskie Oko) where we had Zurek soup, baked cheese, three kinds of pierogi, and enormous potato pancakes with a couple types of toppings. Then we walked to a cake store for a cream dessert ( Papal Cream Cake) that was out of this world. And we finished up at a bar with two kinds of vodka. There were only four in our group so we all had all of our questions answered and interesting background information presented. Our guide was friendly and personable and extremely knowledgeable about foods and traditions. Great experience- highly recommend!
