Very interesting tour not only about Schindler but about the Nazi invasion of Poland and its impact on the people of Krakov.
Alison_D, Sep 2026
The only way to do this museum is with a tour guide. I can’t really imagine it otherwise. Our tour guide was excellent… highly recommend.
Mandy_A, Sep 2026
The title of this tour, and in fact probably all the tours, are very misleading. The factory itself no longer exists which was very disappointing as that it what I expected to see. Instead, we were taken a tour through the admin building and Schinlder's office. That was pretty cool. The rest of the tour consists of a remake of street life in The old town and ghetto, which in itself was okay.
Our tour guide was good.
Janet_S, Aug 2026
We were disappointed with this tour because it was too rushed and we didn't have a chance to read many of the informational placards that were there. The route that our tour group followed through the factory was very narrow at times so sometimes our guide would be talking about something in a space ahead of us that we couldn't all fit in at the same time so we couldn't see what was being explained.
Cindy_W, Aug 2026
I felt the guide took away from the experience as he was reading some of the signs on the wall and we did not have enough time to experience the museum all that much. He did give some good information but wished I had just bought tickets for a self guided tour.
Vickie_P, Aug 2026
It's like thru time, the museum takes you through the events of Nazi occupation, our guide was knowledgeable,
Adam_S, Aug 2026
Extremely rude guide.
Rushed through the museum.
Minimal discussion about Schindler.
Would not allow an 82-year-old grandmother traveling with her family to enter as she never had a picture ID with her.
Douglas_B, Aug 2026
The group was large and it was hard to understand the guide. Every time I tried to read information someone from the group stood in front the written material. Some of the group member were angry and diminished the experience.
Carolyn_T, Aug 2026
The museum itself wasn’t much after just seeing Auschwitz the day before. But the guide was very knowledgeable and she was very good in telling a story. Everything was done promptly so I highly recommend this. Very well organized
marissa_l, Aug 2026
The title of this tour is very deceiving. It’s more about the history of Kraków in World War II. I think Schindler was mentioned for two minutes and not very thoroughly. The groups were too large for the size of the museum and it was difficult to hear the guide, see all the displays, and move through the museum with so many people. My family and I had to leave early because of how awful it was. The information went on tangins like the French army, etc. Would not recommend wasting precious touring time here.
Nicholas_L, Aug 2026
This was a fantastic experience, delivered by an extremely good guide. It takes place in and around the site of Oscar Schindler's factory, but covers the entire period of the German occupation of Krakow during WWII, which, of course, includes the events surrounding Oscar Schindler's enamelling business and the experiences of the Jewish workers. We can highly recommend this tour - a must-do for visitors to Krakow.
Lindsay_W, Aug 2026
Our guide was very informative, and we ended up being very glad we did a tour. Note: this is not a tour of the actual factory itself, though it is very close by. Mostly a history tour of Poland under German occupation.
Lynn_Z, Aug 2026
Good experience viewing museum with guide. Polish history and Schinders story. Excellent guide sharing perspective.

This is the best guided tour we have ever been on. The guide, Tomasz, was phenomenal, full of passion and knowledge. We learned more than we ever thought we could on this tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in WWII Poland or Schindler's Enamel Factory. It will be well worth your time!
Response from Host, Aug 2026

Guide was knowledgeable but the headsets were glitchy. The group was too large and you didn’t have time to read about the exhibits. I would definitely recommend a self guided tour instead.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Dear Guest, thank you for your review. We are glad you appreciated our guide's knowledge, but we apologize for the technical issues with the headsets and the overall group pace. We understand how important it is to have time to take in the exhibits fully, and we will look into the equipment and timing to improve the experience for future guests.

We talked about Schindler for maybe 5 minutes. This is a disjointed museum that does not have any arifacts except Schindler”s office. The factory is gone. I do not recommend this museum or tour.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback. Schindler’s Factory original administrative building houses Kraków’s official WWII municipal exhibition, focusing on the broader history of the city under Nazi occupation (1939–1945). While Schindler's desk and office remain intact, the tour covers the entire wartime context. We appreciate you sharing your perspective with us.

Guide was very personable, knowledgeable and heartfelt as he related family stories relative to the holocaust…just spoke a little too fast at times
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback! We are glad your guide’s knowledge and personal family stories added a heartfelt connection to the tour. We appreciate your note regarding his speaking pace and will share it with our team to help improve future visits. Thank you for joining us!

Very important tour in understanding the Germans occupying Krakow at the start of World War II. David was a very knowledgeable tour guide who communicated well!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Guest, thank you so much for your kind words! We are glad you found the tour so meaningful and that David’s knowledge and communication helped deepen your understanding of Nazi-occupied Kraków. We will be sure to pass your lovely praise along to David!

Michal was the best tour guide I have ever encountered. I was taken back to the tragic time that was WW2 from the view of the people of Poland.
Thoroughly recommended.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much for this incredible praise! Hearing that Michal was the best tour guide you have ever encountered is the ultimate compliment for us.
He takes great pride in bringing this history to life, and we are so glad that his storytelling successfully transported you into the lived experiences of the Polish people during World War II.
We will be absolutely thrilled to pass your kind words along to Michal. Thank you for highly recommending our tour!

Having seen Schindlers List multiple times I was so thrilled to be able to visit his factory in Krakow . Originally planning to just get an entry ticket and make my own way around , boy am I so glad I took the guided tour through Viator. The commentary from the guide (I’m embarrassed to say I forgot her name ) was immense , not only was she so knowledgeable but she made her commentary so very engaging . Truly she was great . I hope Viator will read this and add her name for other guests . (she ran the 2.20pm tour on Sunday 5th July). I was staying close to the Old Town /Main Square , you will need to factor in getting there . Uber and or Bolt work well and very reasonable ,it took me around 12 mins from the Main Square, otherwise if you have a bit more time , Trams go close by too. But thank you for a super 2-2.5hrs
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much for this incredible and detailed review! We are absolutely thrilled that you decided to go with a guided tour and that it made such a massive difference in your experience.
We will look into our schedule for Sunday, July 5th, to identify your guide and pass your wonderful praise along to her. Knowing that her passion and engaging commentary brought the history to life for a dedicated fan of Schindler's List will mean the world to her!
Thank you also for sharing such practical travel tips for future guests. Mentioning the 12-minute Uber/Bolt ride from the Main Square and the nearby tram options is incredibly helpful for anyone planning their route to the factory.
We are so glad we could provide you with a memorable 2.5 hours, and we truly appreciate you choosing us through Viator!

The museum is filled with photos and it’s very interesting to get so much history. We would not have wanted to miss this. Our admission ticket also got us into the historical pharmacy. Also a must see.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We are delighted that you found the extensive photo collections so interesting and that you considered the tour an unmissable part of your trip.
It is also wonderful that you were able to visit the Eagle Pharmacy (Apteka Pod Orłem) with your ticket! Located in the heart of the former ghetto, it is indeed a powerful and essential piece of Krakow's wartime history that many visitors accidentally overlook.
Thank you for choosing our tour and for sharing these great tips with other travelers!
Best regards,

Although the trip refers to Schindler, there is relatively little mention of him in the talk (perhaps we were unlucky). Instead the focus of the tour is Krakow during WW2, this was still interesting but not what we were expecting. To be honest you could get this from the museum without need of the guide
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Guest,
Thank you for your feedback. The museum’s permanent exhibition is officially dedicated to "Krakow Under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945," so it covers the broader wartime history alongside Oskar Schindler's story. We apologize if this wasn't clear beforehand. Our guides aim to add valuable context, but we appreciate your perspective.
Kind regards,

A very interesting place - absolutely worth seeing.
The guide we had was excellent - well informed and knowledgeable.
The group size was very large which is particularly problematic for this tour. The museum is full of narrow and small rooms which did not accommodate a group of our size, meaning much of the group often couldn't see what the guide was gesturing towards.
I'd suggest you explore a smaller group tour
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Guest,
Thank you for your valuable feedback! We are glad you found the museum fascinating and our guide excellent. We sincerely apologize for the discomfort caused by the group size. Schindler's Factory has many narrow passages, and we are actively working with the venue to optimize our group sizes for a better experience. We hope to welcome you again!

You must take photo id with you or you cannot get in . Passport or Driving licence. I did not read the small print and we were not allowed to go in with the guide but he arranged for our jump the queue tickets to be what’s app over to us and we went back to our hotel picked our passports up and returned later to do a solo tour . We had an amazing time despite our mistake and the guide and Viator were brilliant sorting things out for us . I highly recommend this company for all your trips and exertions.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for the wonderful review and high recommendation! We are so glad our guide could quickly assist you and save your experience. Your reminder about bringing a valid photo ID is incredibly helpful for future travelers. We are delighted you had an amazing time despite the mix-up!

The factory/museum was interesting, but the tour group was oversized. The hallways in the museum are narrow and only half the tour could see or hear the guide at a time. There was not enough room to move and see all the exhibits. Also, there were individuals unaffiliated with the tour that would need to push through the tour crowd.
Our guide was great. I would give this 5 stars if the group was half the size.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback and for praising our guide! We are sorry that the large group size and narrow hallways impacted your experience. The museum's popularity makes it crowded, but we take your comments seriously and will look into ways to improve group management and comfort for our guests.
kind regards,

Very good museum with excellent displays. Our guide David was great. The group on the guided tour was too large for the small spaces.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed the museum and that David was a great guide. We apologize for the discomfort caused by the group size in the smaller spaces. The museum can get quite crowded, but we are actively working on ways to improve group management and overall comfort for our guests.

Most boring part of Krakow. Guide spoke incessantly for 90 minutes, mentioned Schindler 3 times and walked us through corridors with pictures on the wall. Save your money, pass thiss one.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback. The museum is located in the former factory, but the exhibition focus is legally set on the broader wartime history of Kraków, which we try to make clear. We are sorry the tour format did not meet your expectations, and we will review our guides' pacing to better balance the narrative for future guests.
kind regards,

The guide was excellent. The process getting tickets and entry wad stressful
But mainly due to those not reading that you needed ID and to be on time.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We are delighted to hear that our guide was excellent. We appreciate you highlighting how important it is to bring a valid ID and arrive on time. Your note will surely help future travelers prepare for a smoother entry. We hope to welcome you again soon!

I thought the guide was good, but perhaps slightly hard to understand, I think they booked too many people for that tour. In such a confined space, the audio assist went in and out.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you liked our guide, but we sincerely apologize for the crowded conditions and the audio issues. The museum’s narrow spaces can interfere with the signal, but we are actively working on improving our group management and equipment quality to ensure a better experience.
