What a great experience, spending an afternoon in our own kitchen with Chef Vary teaching and coaching us from Florence. There is nothing like making it yourself with your own tools and getting instant feedback from an expert, with Edoardo showing us from several angles what she was doing as she coached us on technique, . We learned how to make authentic pasta, and put it all together in a fantastic dinner. We know this is starting us on a path of many more homemade pasta meals with our new skills! Thank you, Chef Vary and Edoardo for such a great class and dinner!

Sharing the time with Chef Vary and learning proper ingredients and recipes was awesome. Feasting on the final dishes was the icing on the cake. Instructions were clear and she was very patient throughout the whole time. A wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Chef Vary was simply wonderful! She explained each step in complete detail, was fun, patient, and made this experience as great as it possibly could be. We will absolutely take another virtual cooking class with her, and when we make it to Italy we for sure will take her class in person! We would recommend Chef Vary to anyone! We can't say enough good about her and her class!

Fantastic on-line Italian cooking class. Chef Vary is a very talented, accomplished and knowledgeable Chef. Chef Vary has a great flair for cooking and shared many very useful tips. She was informative, helpful and patient and catered for a range of abilities. The class was a birthday present and the on-line format meant that we cooked at home and spent precious family together. In 2.5 hours we learned to make our own Gnocchi as well as Ravioli from scratch and a delicious pasta sauce. After logging off we sat together and enjoyed a DELICIOUS family meal. We shall cherish these precious memories. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Pasta was Goooood!

My parents were supposed to go to Italy this April, but weren't able to due to covid. So instead we brought Italy to them :) My mom and I did the online cooking class together and we all had a delicious Italian meal that night. Chef Vary was friendly and explained her techniques very well. Her camera setup was advanced, so were were able to see a front, side, and birds eye view of what she was doing. Thanks again, it was deliziosa!

Chef Vary and her husband were such a pleasure to work with! My husband, mother in-law, mother and I loved the 2 hour cooking class that we took via skype! Chef Vary sent us about 25 different dishes to select from. She also provided a list of all necessary kitchen equipment and ingredients so we were properly prepared for the class. The two dishes that Vary taught us to make were fun and easy to create and incredibly delicious! Vary was a great teacher and has incredible warmth. We had never taken a virtual cooking class before but we loved it! They have a great setup in their kitchen with multiple camera angles so we could really see and learn everything we needed to. We made an authentic Italian feast in Illinois! We would recommend this class to all! Thank you so much, Chef Vary!

Excellent virtual cooking class! Chef Vary taught us two different dishes from start to finish. We got our list of instructions and ingredients well in advance and were able to easily prepare. She was able to easily see what we were doing and provide very detailed instruction the entire class. We made Tagliatelle with Bolognese and Spinach and cheese Ravioli with brown butter and sage. We are all first time pasta makers and our meals were truly scrumptious! I would highly recommend this course. It’s like a little virtual visit to Italy. Did I mention Chef Vary is very funny?! Thank you Vary, can’t wait to do another class in person when we can visit beautiful Italy.

Via a Skype video call, Chef Vary (in Florence, Italy) taught me (in California) and my Mom (in Cabo san Lucas, Mexico) how to make Ricotta Parmesan Ravioli in a Sage Butter Sauce and homemade Tagliatelle with a Summer Tomato Sauce. The hard work was worth it because it was delicious. Chef Vary and her Husband, Edo, were accepting of and helpful with our technical difficulties in the beginning, and also carefully guided us each step of the way in the class with helpful recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely recommend Chef Vary's classes, and would happily take another one ourselves in the future.

We had done an in-person cooking class in Florence with Chef Vary back in 2018 on our honeymoon, so we were so excited to see that they were offering virtual cooking classes! We had a fantastic time hosting Chef Vary in OUR home this time, in Denver, CO, USA. Chef Vary sent us our supplies and grocery list well in advance, along with tips for doing the virtual class. It was very easy to set up and very organied. We made two recipes - one gnocchi with sicilian pesto and gnudi with sage butter sauce. You get to choose what kind of dish you make (pasta, gnocchi, etc.) and sauces/sides. Chef Vary made easy adjustments for us since we are vegetarian. We ended up meeting at 9am our time, which was about 5pm their time, and we had a nice lunch afterward. We can't wait to do it again soon!
