Despite our reservations, during periods of increased inflow of visitors, the admission to the museums may be subject to delays due to: - Security check at the entrance (metal detector) - The maximum number of people allowed at the same time inside the Museum for security reasons and in order to protect the integrity of the exhibited works. Based on the above reasons any possible delay cannot be attributable to Caf Tour & Travel responsibility.
To confirm a booking the following details are mandatory for all the participants: First Name – Last Name – A valid mobile phone number (*that shall be able to receive communication while in Italy) – Email address (*that the client is able to check while in Italy) In the event, that one or more details are missing, the booking cannot be considered confirmed.

It is mandatory to present an original identity document.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Accademia Gallery and Uffizi Gallery.
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the attraction.
UFFIZI: Adults (18+): €29.00, Reduced Rate (18–25 EU): €2.00, and Free (0–17): €0.00. Additional fees ticket purchase, agency booking fees, customer service and mobile audio guide.
The museum ticket has a fixed entry time that cannot be changed after booking.

Shameful ripoff

Unfortunately the down load did not work and was a real ripoff as you would be better to purchase an English head phone than depending on a website diownload that did not work. Shamefull ripoff!!

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi at the Uffizi Gallery is not always reliable and access may require an active internet connection. Be prepared to ask questions if Italian is not your first language. It was not obvious where to go. To meet with the Viator person, she was not clearly identifiable and did not speak English. Luckily, the note of where to meet under the "statue" was perfect. Where to go next did not have the proper signage so we had to ask where to stand once we received our tickets. The museum was beautiful and very much worth it.

My friend and I did the self-guided tour. There were so many beautiful pieces and such a rich history, seeing it all was overwhelming! While this was a great experience, we didn't get to fully enjoy it and learn everything about the artwork was because the link to guide app was broken :( It would've been nice to get the audio headset, but it wasn't offered to us. Not sure if we could have asked for one, but that would have been nice to know while we were there.

This was a really good option for us as we have spent an extensive amount of time touring around Europe. We decided we would make this trip more of an unstructured trip where we did book any tickets or tours in advance. We decided the day before that we wanted to visit the Academy and the Uffizi. This option was perfect for us to be able to be able to buy skip-the-line (which really always is still at least a 10 minute line to get in). It was also nice to have access to an audio guide for both places. The guide isn’t as detailed as you can rent, but it does give a good high level overview of the important works. NOTE: you need to be sure you have at least 5G cell service for the app to work. It started to get a little glitchy at the end when I did have very good service. But a really great option for those who want to see both places last minute and don’t want to do a group tour!

The Uffizi Gallery is amazing. A must see. However the skip the line was not nécessaire. In addition, we did not receive the code to download the content for the « self guided app » in advanced-as advertised. We only got in on site when we were given our tickets. With a poor internet it was impossible to download. In hindsight, I recommand purchasing tickets online directly from Ufizi gallery and renting thé audio guide on site. Of thé many « skip the line » tickets we puchased for our trip , this one was by far the most unnecessary.

Our payment was not accepted via PayPal. When rebooking it defaulted to current date rather than the day I booked. This date was a travel day for us. There was no experience.

Skip the line… but do a Tour with a Guide

The Gallery and Art is a must see and do in Florence. Purchasing tickets from our specific Viator host was not worth it. The mobile guided tour we purchased is Not user friendly at all, you cannot follow where you are in the gallery as to where you are on the self guided Application. And off course huge crowds of people ! Glad we did it though. So if you are an artist like me, and know your art history and are seriously into art, pay more and take a guided tour, not the self guided option.

La galerie est magnifique, mais l'expérience à été gâchée à cause de l'audioguide qui ne marchait pas. En effet pas de WiFi ni réseau internet dans le musée. Très contrariée j'ai demandé à plusieurs gardes du musée aucun réseau dedans jamais. Voilà il aurait fallu le savoir et télécharger le guide pour un accès hors réseau mais une fois à l'intérieur trop tard. On ne m'y prendra plus.
