Itinerary

Meet your driver in the historic heart of Florence and depart in a comfortable vehicle for a day in the Tuscan countryside.

Travel along the winding Chiantigiana Road into the picturesque hills. The first stop is Montefioralle, where you'll have a brief stop to snap some pictures and check out the town square.

Continue on to a small wine estate in Greve in Chianti for a tour of the vineyards and wine cellars before sampling the estate's wines and olive oil. The estate produces eco-friendly Chianti and Super Tuscans, and what you taste will depend on what's available that season.

The next stop is San Gimignano, the hilltop town famous for its many towers. Enjoy a 40-minute stop to explore on your own before the tour continues on to a nearby farm not far from San Gimignano. Admire the farm's historic farmhouse, including an ancient watchtower.

Relax at the farm over a light lunch, followed by a chance to sample some of the products produced right there – as well as some other typically Tuscan goodies chosen by the guide.

Travel back to Florence at the end of the day, where you'll be returned to the place where you met your guide.

Amazing trip, tour guide was wonderful and so knowledgeable. San Gimignano is the most unique medieval village with breathtaking views over the Tuscan hillside. Both vineyards were beautiful, would absolutely recommend this tour we had the best day ever!

Great Chianti experience

A really beautiful day out. We stopped at two vineyards. The first was a small family run vineyard, the second a larger winery. We enjoyed both stops & the countryside we drove through was beautiful. Alberto was a knowledgeable guide to our day. Our stop in San Gimignano was enough time to quickly look through this beautiful town. A great day out, I would recommend it for wine lovers.

Good day, not quite as described

Good day out for our family group of 6 adults. Starting point was easy to find and we had a quick stop for photos at the viewpoint Piazzale Michelangelo. Our driver Aladdin/Alladeen took us to San Gimignano for a speedy walk about which was great . Off we went to a large commercial vineyard. We were taken straight inside a pretty barrel filled room to try 7 wines with a really nice lunch. From there we headed to a small family run vineyard for further tastings with really knowledgable staff which was a highlight. We then zoomed back to the start point. Would have loved a different tour at the commercial vineyard where we hoped to have seen the vines and production process. We had a great day but did not see the other towns mentioned nor any vines.

Driver was great, but the experience is very basic - you go to a couple wineries, they try to sell you their wine, and off you go. Very expensive for what you get. And don’t be fooled by the pictures - you won’t be walking amongst the vines.

Booked this tour the day before and received email confirmation immediately. Was requested we arrive at 815am for an 830am start. We waited until 9am and I rang the company, to be put on hold whilst the operator contacted the driver. The driver did not answer so the operator called me back only to disclose there is a problem with the driver and the tour will not be going ahead. Disappointing we had not been contacted regarding the tour being cancelled. At least we were approved a refund!

Mauricio gave us a tour of his family farm where he makes olive oil and wine. Spritz aperol was his dogs name and she was adorable!! You have to do this tour.

Enjoyed stopping in charming San Gimignano. The estate winery had lovely grounds. The lunch was far from light and the wine tastings were quite generous. The small family winery made us feel like family. Our guide, Romana, was courteous and pleasant and helped make the day such a pleasure!!!

Good food paired with wine and breath taking scenery of Chianti Region

It was our honeymoon and luckily we got the whole trip just by ourselves! Perfect coincidence!! Daniele was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the Chianti region and drove us to San Gimignano and two wineries. We loved both of the wine tours so much, especially the second family-owned vineyard. The food was amazing and obviously NOT a lite lunch at all lol. Daniele took us to a nearby village as a bonus at the end of our trip and it was so historic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is into history, wine, and food!

Fabulous Day in Tuscany

Our driver Yarit was great. He was accommodating and courteous. Lunch and tastings at Tenuta Torciana were incredible. The grounds are breathtaking. Our second stop at Gallo was lovely, and our sommelier there was very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. The view from Gallo was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour, for the food, wine and scenery.

The trip was easy to book and the meeting place easy to find. We were met by Daniele (sorry if I have spelt your name wrong). His english was excellent and he provided a very informative "story" of the region. I am always a bit dubious about taking these type of tours but this one I would totally recommend. Our guide went out of his way to make the experience memorable and the vineyards and village we visited were contrasting|outstanding which gave us a very good understanding about the region. Totally worth the money. Great scenery, great wines, the food was Ok but more than enough.
