Great tour with Aldo. He was easy to find, easy to understand and clearly has a passion for Italian history and for art. He showed us what was awe inspiring about each exhibit and sight, beyond that which you would easily notice. Efficient and great tour. Also loved that he recommended a spot for us to grabs. Gelato along the way from a really nice shop that had Sicilian gelato flavors. Also mindful of keeping us in the shade on a super hot, humid and sunny day. Overall a great experience - highly recommend.

Olivia was an amazing tour guide! She was so friendly and kind and easy to talk to, while also very knowledgeable about the cities and sights. While this tour is very much a historical tour, there is definitely a focus on art and how it relates to history, which we loved!

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed her explaining the Medici family influence on Florence. I’ll never look at the Statue of David the same. She was able to point out so much about the statue. I grew up reading and hearing the stories of David in the Bible. She brought it all together. She gave us plenty of time to take pictures. I thought the price we paid was a bit expensive. Our friends were here in October 2024 and took the same tour. We booked this based on their recommendation. They paid $292. We paid $340. I suggest tourists check out the price better than I did.

We very much enjoyed our guide's introduction to the heart of Florence. In addition to notable monuments, she highlighted quite a few landmarks in central Florence which would not have been obvious to us had we been on our own. She also explained the role of the Medici's in the development of the city and the Italian Renaissance. She offered valuable insights regarding Michaelangelo's works at the Academy, his interactions with his contemporaries and patrons, his personality, his body of work, and his creative process. This was a worthwhile tour!

I felt the value for what we received was not worth the price. The cost of $153 each was considerable and it only included entry (and still had to wait in the rain) and a narrative that was interesting but could have included so much more.
