Our guide through Uffizi Galleries today was Gianna, and we cannot say enough about the experience. She is a wealth of information, bringing so many of the paintings to life, with deeper meanings from history, religion, biography, culture and mythology. The clear instructions provided made it simple to find our guide near the entrance to the museum, and we were able to enter right away without waiting in line. Our guide Marta was so knowledgeable and helped us maximize our time in the museum. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

Uffizi Master Class

Gianna was waiting for us exactly as described with a smile and escorted us through security while beginning to describe the origin of the buildings. Her knowledge was that of a master class in all thing within Florence. She provided the most detailed information we've ever experienced! Hearing that we had just arrived from Rome, she helped us understand how many of the artists were inspired by the works of the Uffizi. It is impossible to see everything in one visit and we will return to the Uffizi and request Gianna to continue teaching us about the great works of art. In short, she is the best guide we've ever had! Ask for her.
