Had to pick up the tickets and then walk across the bridge for entrance. I would have preferred someone meet us there with the tickets because my mom doesn’t walk so well and we had taken a taxi. It was hard on her to walk from the office to the palace.

Poor coordination and ticket delivery

Do the tour on your own. The ticket costs less at the Pitti Palace. If you get there early, there will not be a line. This company gives you a voucher that you take to a place which is a 12 minute walk from Pitti Palace. Then they give you a ticket that you take back to Pitti Palace. In this digital age, it is quite ridiculous that they cannot send you the voucher in the app or in an email. Every other tour I have done on Florence did just that. Pitti is definitely worth visiting.

The most memorable parts of this experience that Viator provided were poor. The walk from our stay was about 10 mins and back to the Palace was 20 mins. I paid $31 for a ticket for Palace entry only and did not include the Boboli Gardens. I thought I was getting both Garden and Palace entry. The price at the Palace for admission is €16 and €10 for Boboli Gardens. Aside from the walking workout, what did I get for paying nearly double for only admission to the Palace? Do yourself a favor, and go to the Palace and buy your ticket, easier and much cheaper. Palace is stunning and worth going to.

Usually, the departure point is close to the activity and the instructions are clear. Unfortunately, in this instance the pick up point is over a kilometre away from the event and one must go out of their way to get the tickets. I was only able to pick up the tickets at 10 AM and my scheduled time was for 10:30 AM making it difficult to be there on time. I suggest customer care send PDF files to the customers on the morning of the event as was done with my Medici Chapel tickets.

Was unable to take in this tour, as ship was late docking, and bus did not arrive in time. Instead, I was able to get different tour. Did not get to view the inside, but rather, was able to get many photos of various sites which were not included in my booked tour of Palazzo Pitti.

Getting the tickets was inconvenient

Given that my tickets were for 3pm entry, we were not close to the office that I had to go to pick up the tickets. It would have been much more convenient to have a QR code emailed after payment to enter the Palazzo Pitti. Then the next day we had tickets for the Uffizi and when we tried to pick them up early in the day, we couldn't receive them until just a hour before the entry time. Again, this is a big inconvience when you're trying to make the most of your time.

I booked several tours and this one was horrible. Again I never got an email with my ticket only a download that brought up a green voucher that said this is not your entry ticket So when I went to the Pitti Palace ticket office they would not give me a ticket. They said Florence City Tours would meet me at the entrance and give me my ticket but this wasn’t true either. I was supposed to get my ticket at their office which is 10 minutes away from Pitti. What a mess. This was not Communicated to me so I asked for a refund which Florence City Toirs said NO but Jonathan with Viator put in a refund process for me which I will receive in 7 days. Another issue with this is I paid $64 for Skip the line tickets for Pitti and Boboli when they sell the same ticket (no skip the line) for $22😳. I understand Skip the line would be more but this is a huge and ridiculous difference in price.

Appointment was for 11 museum opened at 1 30 To pick up ticket I need to go out of my way There are no lines for pitti tickets Easier and cheaper to just get at museum or on line

Dear Customer, unfortunately the Pitti Palace in this post-emergency covid 19 period, changes its opening hours very often. In recent weeks the Palace is opening only during the afternoon, from 13.30 onwards and this is not up to us. It is a decision that is taken directly by the director of Palazzo Pitti, since there are not many staff available, unfortunately he has to make shortened opening hours. Is also not our fault if there is little tourism and few queues in this period, we do our service, booking the ticket at a scheduled time and deliver it to the customer. As for our office, we have the meeting point in the historic center of Florence, we pay a very high rent to maintain such a central office, so as not to have a meeting point on the street like many other tour companies do. Anyway the office is only 10 minutes by walk from the Palace and is clearly indicated on the voucher. I'm sad that your experience was not satisfactory for you, we did our best, we were available any time, responding you at the phone also early in the morning, before the opening time of our office, trying to help you. Je n'ai pas pu utiliser mon ticket car impossible retourner pour le retirer. Un seul bureau dans tout Florence pour distribuer ces billets c'est très difficile de revenir si loin les chercher. Meilleure organisation si on les recevait par email après la commande et le paiement.
