We booked a small group tour but less than 24 hours before the trip our tour was canceled. We were offered the same tour but Iwith a group of 60 people on a full sized bus. We were disappointed that the small group tour was canceled but the large group tour worked well. Our tour guides John & (can't remember her name) were great & kept us informed throughout the day. We moved seamlessly throughout the visit train & ferry. It was a wonderful day.

Small group tour was well worth it. We had 11 which was easy to keep up and together. Very well run tour. Time to explore 4 of the villages. Short boat ride was OK.

The tour was cancelled! What can I possibly write if the provider cancelled the tour? I wish we went on this tour!

It was a long day with an early start, but that was necessary to have the opportunity to get a taste of four of the five villages of Cinque Terre, especially in light of the large crowds still present on an overcast day in October. Our guide, John, was great, but our one complaint was that we signed up and paid for a “small group of no more than 12 people”, only to find that our group numbered 22 people and we traveled on a full size bus back and forth to Cinque Terre. This inevitably diluted our interactions with our guide and no doubt made his job more difficult herding a bigger group through the very crowded train stations of Cinque Terre, in addition to making the four plus hours of motor travel take longer than it would have in a smaller, more maneuverable van.

It was great to be able to go with a small group of people because the towns were very crowded. Our guide was very informative and helped us make the most of our time in each of the towns. I felt like we had a good amount of time and each time to explore. I would definitely recommend this tour

The views are outstanding, just be aware there are a lot of steps so it is not suitable if you cannot walk up steps. The guide we had was very good, he gave tips on the best points for the views and gave advice on other places to see in Florence. My only advise would be for the guide to make themselves available during the free time as at times due to the language barrier he was hard to understand. It is not possible for the guide to walk with everyone as there were those with limitations with their physical ability and this would have impacted on all in the group.
Overall a very good tour.

This was a terrible tour. We could hardly understand the tour guide. Her English was terrible, and she did not explain what we were going to be doing. We booked and paid for a small tour, max 8 people and with a mini van. We got a tour of 19 people on a big bus. Lunch was terrible and we were seated next to the bathroom with long lines. The worst part was we were told we were getting a boat cruise. It turn out to be just a quick shuttle from one city to another. Our guide did not tell us we were supposed to get off the boat. We were almost left behind. I will never book a tour though CiaFlorence and will discourage anyone I speak to from signing up on a tour run through this company.

We booked the advertised tour for 12 people with lunch.
We ended up with 25 people in our tour, not enough time at each place - completely rushed and totally different to the advertised itinerary. lunch was dreadful and I mean dreadful. Save your money and simply get the train.

Perfect day traveling from Florence to Cinque Terre. The tour leader, Frederica, was perfect. She kept us all informed on when/where to meet at each location. She purchased the train and boat tickets, so we didn't have to mess with any of those details. She also provided tips at each location on where to go to see what you were interested in. Could not have been better!

Steven was guide and navigated the train times for us. Beautiful seaside towns with good food and shops sell similar items in each town. This is a fast moving tour so you have to ensure you are able bodied to get to the trains quickly and on time…lots of uphill! If you have mobility issues probably not the right tour.

Exploring the various cities— very colorful. Liked that it was a small group and able to explore on your own. Tour guide “Gio” was great— showed some places to take pictures and see great views

The trip was cancelled at the last minute with the only alternative being joining a group of 70 the next day or a refund. No opportunity offered to re-schedule. Did another trip from another company on Friday and know that it would have been impossible to manage a group of 70 and have an enjoyable experience.
The refund should be immediate. No refund as of yet.

This small tour was fantastic and very ideal for such a busy schedule. The guide Alessia was FANTASTIC and was a very engaging and experienced guide.

The guide's efforts to make sure we enjoyed the tour and his extra special efforts to make sure we made it safely to our hotel.

Originally signed up for small group tour maximum 8 which then changed to 12 which than became 22. It was a gorgeous day in a very beautiful place however there were train issues which caused a shorter time in each location so it was very rushed and not enough time to enjoy each beautiful village. This was not the guides fault but unfortunately changed the day’s dynamics.

Other than train disruptions, this was a great day. Illaria was our guide and she was so amazing and communicative. High ratings for her to manage group of 20 people with train delays and many tourists.
Josh_O, Sep 2023
Luigi was an excellent guide and made the day most enjoyable. I could not recommend him more. This is a must do experience for the North of Italy.

This day trip was exactly what we were looking for! Roberto our guide was so knowledgable, he always made sure the group stayed together and he knew all the hidden/secret spots most tourists didn’t know of. You get to see 4 of 5 Cinque Terre villages and our favorite was Monorola. The day does get kind of long, so by the end of the trip when we were at the last village we planned to stop at we went to a little bar/cafe recommended by Roberto and the outdoor patio overlooked the ocean — it was phenomenal! We felt very pleased with the things we got to see and do in each village. I highly recommend this tour!

It was a small group (16 people) and our tour guide Sebastián was exceptional. He provided us with a real understanding of the rich history of this beautiful place. While also suggesting what to do while in Rome. Overall i loved the experience of traveling throughout (on a bus, train & boat) this tour. It allowed me to try out one of the foods that they are known for (pesto sauce). It was a day well spent and I recommend it to all.

The entire trip from the start till the end was well conducted and managed, no easy feat when there were a lot of people/tourists in the small beautiful villages...
A lovely experience
John_G, Jul 2023
The small group tour was great. We had 10 in our group. Cinque Terre was very beautiful. Our tour guide, Kazzua "Kate", was fabulous. She gave us good instructions and was very attentive to make sure our group needed to be at the right place at the right time.
Betty_B, May 2023
The coastline & towns were extremely picturesque. A lot of time traveling so not much time in each location but still worth it. Tour guide generously shared her WIFI when it was not provided as promised on the bus.
GeorgeandPam_A, Oct 2022
It was a great trip that allowed time for touring the four towns we visited. It was great seeing the towns built into the cliffs. My only complaint was that we were scheduled for a small group tour which was cancelled and we were consigned to a very large group. The e guides did an admirable job managing everyone. The lunch provided was amazing
Blue_C, Jun 2022
This was an very good tour. Marco was enthusiastic, well organized and spoke English well. The sites were, as expected, very beautiful and we were given ample time on our own. The lunch was prompt, traditional and well prepared. I was sorry the weather prevented the boat trip and would have enjoyed a bit more history but overall would recommend this highly

This was a great tour. We saw all the main highlights and had no problems with the various means of travel. Everything was well organized. I recommend this tour!

Very beautiful and enjoyable tour. Valentina was an excellent tour guide. The lunch was nice and the entire experience was very worthwhile.
