Overview

Travel like a real Italian on a Vespa scooter tour of the Chianti region. A minivan ride takes you from the city of Florence out into the rolling countryside, ready for an orientation lesson on scooter driving from an English-speaking guide. A quick driving test later and you're off to ride past vineyards and through historic village. Taste Chianti (the region's red wine) at a boutique winery, sample olive oil from local producers, and sit down for a traditional Tuscan lunch, complete with wine pairings.

A valid driving license is required and you must be at least 18 years of age to drive, at least 13 years to be a passenger
A third-party insurance for civil liability is included in the price of the tour.

Book DIRECT - not with Trip Advisor

This is my second "burn" with booking through Viator - as we showed up for our Vespa tour to learn that it had been canceled. They didn't send us any emails or notifications of the change, so I had a disappointed family when we showed up for nothing. Yes they gave me a refund, but we were scrambling (for the second time) to find something else. THANKFULLY, another company, who was booked for the day, said they see this with Viator all the time. They were happy to book our family for the following day (and it was actually 1/3 cheaper to book directly through them.) It's called Towns of Italy! From now on, I've learned my lesson. It's not worth booking through Viator AND it costs more!
