Veronica is a great Tourist guide! She knows everything there is to know about the church, King Stephen, very lucky to have her as our guide. Does she do other tours?

Beautiful Basilica and great tour by Veronica, she was at the place we were suppose to meet and very informative. The treasury was a bit underwhelming, but the view from the top is awesome, AND there is an elevator!! May have to wait your turn, but beats the winding stairs.

Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, Barbara, brought the history alive on this tour. Explanations of architecture and construction were really interesting as was the context of Budapest's history.

According to the app, I was instructed to go inside the office to redeem my ticket and then wait for a guide at a designated location near the Basilica. However, when I arrived at the office, I was told to go back outside and wait for a guide who would provide the tickets.
As the scheduled tour time approached, there was no guide present. I called the office and was informed that the guide would be approximately 10 minutes late. After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no sign of anyone, I returned to the ticket office. At that point, I was told that another guide was on the way and that we would need to wait an additional 20 minutes.
This experience was a bit frustrating and felt like a waste of both time and money. Due to the delays and lack of organization, I did not receive the full guided experience that I had paid for.
I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and consider offering some form of compensation.

St Stephen’s Basilica was spectacular!! It’s a must see while in Budapest. We used the Hop on / Hop off bus to get there, and it was an easy, pleasant stroll

This is a must do stop.. feast for the yes....amazing overwhelming decor etc. Cannot visit Budapest without seeing this one and the panoramic view is a must do to...

I purchase tickets on my Mac which a different email address from my iPhone. I only had the reference number. I contacted viator 24/7 Service, and my received the reply and the tickets code almost immediately! Loved it! THANK YOU! My problem became a pleasant experience!

The Basilica is BEAUTIFUL! I would definitely recommend this activity.
Getting the tickets was easy. The ticket office is located right by the Basilica and getting the hard copy tickets was easy.

we bought a ticket that indicated we should be at the basilica at 9:00 am. The basilica wasn't open until 1pm. When we returned at 1pm we did not get to "skip the line" they made us line up like everyone else. We could have just bought a ticket at the basilica and got the same experience and it would have been cheaper.

The guide was great in explaining the history in detail and answering our questions, would have enjoyed a bit more had the guide accompanied us to both treasury and panoramic view point.
We had not idea when we were at the panoramic view point what we were looking at like what landmarks.

Marina was a superb tour guide with lots of knowledge on the Basilica and took time to also send us recommendations of other things to do in Budapest which was great. Make sure to take your time to go up to the terrace after the main tour.
