The GPS which you must have turned on to use drains the battery

I’m sure it’s a great guide it just uses way too much battery using the gps. I had it on for about an hour of normal use and it drained the battery of my iPhone. It does warn you to have a full battery before you start, which I obviously had but I got a warning telling me again after using it for a while so unless you’re using a power bank or you can keep your mobile battery topped up in between use then I don’t recommend this guide. Thankfully it wasn’t too much but lesson learned. By the way you think you’re saving power and roaming charges by downloading the guide but in fact you’re just saving roaming.

I used this audio guide during my stay in Budapest. The concept is interesting and the price remains affordable (just under €6), but the experience left me rather disappointed. The content is too succinct and underdeveloped. Only 23 monuments are included, while the city has many more. Expectations are for more comprehensive, in-depth and better-worked content. Getting started is also complicated and poorly explained. I had to ask for a refund before being clearly explained the activation procedure. In short, the idea is good and the price attractive, but the content and ergonomics deserve a lot of improvement.

Great tour of Budapest!

On weekend in Budapest with friends we decided to follow this guided tour with phone audio guides and honestly it was super interesting! We followed a route through the city and the audios were automatically triggered in front of the monuments. We learned a lot about Budapest and places we wouldn't have gone on our own! PS: being the only French, I took the tour in Spanish, it's very good with a very nice voice:)
