Switch between two different bus routes to explore different areas and aspects of the city, or stay aboard to gain an overview of the city’s sights and landmarks.

When you’re ready, hop off at any of the conveniently located stops and explore the attractions on foot, at your leisure. Perhaps meander around the medieval alleys of the Gothic Quarter; stop off to visit the extraordinary Sagrada Familia church designed by the late, great architect Antoni Gaudí; or soak up the lively atmosphere, shops, and street theater along vibrant Las Ramblas.

Terrible Experience

The company policies are unclear and leave the rider confused. When questioned by the rider, the staff was discourteous and rude. The operator ushered us off the bus without a proper explanation of why the ticket indicated one policy but there was another policy in place. Because of this lack of communication/understanding, the riders were forced to find alternative means of getting back to their original destination.

The AC on most of the buses didn’t work. They never mentioned to keep your tickets should you may want to add a second a day. Some of the staff were rude and should not be in a job dealing with tourists.

Was less crowded than the red bus. Took over two hours for the red route. Did hit most landmarks. However, the narration was lackluster. I would like to have heard more in depth history. Stemmed mostly around architecture of social policies. There is so much history in Spain, pointing things out along the route would have been good but it was only a bit at the landmarks.

Good info but not entertaining and the bus AC was broken. We should have downloaded a gps- based tour app and ridden a city bus. Oh, and the driver pounded the pedals like he was playing the drums.

The sounds was bad so it was just like driving through random streets. I never got to see the arc. I paid twice for the tour. I got two noticed and sets of tickets and charged 71. And change. My partner misplaced his ticket and the bus guy wouldn’t accept my phone reservation. We had to buy another ticket. In all my travels I praise the hop on / hop off and tell all my friends to take the tour but the one in Barcelona turned me off on it.

Bus route is good. But on 3 stops , waiting passengers could not board because the bus was full. It was the middle of July. Also it took us some time to figure out which bus stop to wait at. We were not given a map of stop locations

A bit confusing

The stops are far apart and it’s unclear in the listing which hop on, hop off bus is the correct one. This is for the aqua buses. It was challenging to find the red line after riding out the blue line. The AC inside the bus was amazing.

The Tour de France meant the roads were not open and all buses cancelled for the day. The booking system still took our booking and our money! Now having to fight for a refund.

This is one of the best thing if you visit Barcelona, you can see the place in 2.5 hours and you can do hop on and off until 7 pm.

No Drinks

That on very hot days if you plan to ride the bus for a long period of time know that you are not allowed to drink on the bus. We had to discard drinks we had just purchased.☹️

Sat inside bus due to heat. Difficult to see landmarks that were pointed out on audio. Seemed like audio was a little out of sync with actual location. Air condition was helpful but not optimum..

Definitely need two plus hours for each route. Our bus driver took so many breaks during our trip, it took excessively too long.
