This was a FUN and educational experience. Adriana was such a pleasant tour guide. She gave us a bunch of insight on Athens first "Olympic games". Would REALLY recommend to families ranging from 8 years of age and up. OR really competitive adults.

The kids absolutely loved this. We had a fun morning learning and playing. The Olympic stadium is stunning and we loved being transported back in time with the original sports.

This was a lot of fun. We lucked out because we did it during shoulder season so I can't speak to the experience during busier times. It ended up being a private tour for my family (incl wife and daughter). Our daughter loves sports and is super competitive. She found it incredibly fun learning how to perform some of the olympic events. Our guide was friendly and engaging, and made the experience a lot of fun for all of us.

Truly a fun experience

Kelvin_G, Mar 2026
My family and I weren't really sure what to expect. When we initially arrived, the GPS coordinates sent us to the wrong location. However, that was quickly rectified as Adreanna was able to spot us. The whole experience was a lot of fun. My son thoroughly enjoyed himself, not to mention learning lots about the ancient Olympics. We would highly recommend.

This was a really fantastic way to learn about Athens and the Olympic Games! A little bit of history, a little bit of excercise and a lot of fun!

Fun and interesting.

Brianne_P, Jul 2025
Our trainer was great- very knowledgeable and obviously a great athlete. We had a really fun time and would recommend this to anyone who likes to be active.

We loved this experience!...

Bridget_F, Jul 2025
We loved this experience! We had our kids between the ages of 9 and 14 participate. We loved learning the history of the modern Olympics, learning the techniques of events we’ve never tried and running a lap around the historic stadium!

Must-Do Olympic History & Fun!

David_B, Jun 2025
Learning about the Evolution of the Olympic Games was fascinating, and I really appreciated hearing a story behind why those ancient athletes competed naked – it added a lot of context. The Panathenaic Stadium itself is absolutely breathtaking – completely made of marble, it's just stunning to see. As a runner, getting to actually track a lap on my Garmin watch there was a personal highlight that I'll never forget! Our guide and instructor were incredible, making the whole experience so much more engaging and enjoyable. We had an absolute blast competing as a group in different events like wrestling, javelin, discus, shotput, and long jump, finishing up with a really fun run inside the stadium. Everyone in our group participated and had a great time, which made it even better. Another huge highlight was being inside the stadium and seeing every single Olympic torch ever used, along with some seriously cool art. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, this is definitely it!

Fun AND Informative

Susan_M, Apr 2025
Perfect for adults and teens, too. Learned about the history of the Olympics while learning how to play the games.

Great fun

Becky_N, Feb 2025
Real fun way to spend a couple of hours trying out Olympic sports. Our coach was great and the whole group thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You are left in the Olympic stadium at the end, so can spend as much time as you want wandering around - we chose to run a few laps of the track!

Fun morning experience

George_D, Aug 2024
This was a truly fun way to spend a morning and learn about the Olympic experience. Yolie (sp?) made our time together, fun, interactive and insightful. My 11-year-old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The culmination of the tour in Olympic Stadium was also incredible.

Gold Medal Morning

Howard_H, Aug 2024
Really cool opportunity to learn about the original Olympic events from 1896, and actually try them out. Have never held a javelin nor discus, made it special. The stadium was spectacular, don't miss on the opportunity to go up the ramp to the museum portion. While small, it is really special. Our trainer/guide was such a special part of the day!!

Highly Recommended Fun Experience!

Jack_C, Jul 2024
We had a really great morning with Loli! It was only the two of us, so it ended up a private tour. Loli was very knowledgeable about the history of the games which is of course the primary reason we booked! She was also great at coaching us through the events - we are both sporty and took to the activities pretty easily but we can definitely see how she would be great with people who weren’t sporty. This event would definitely be for anyone! Super fun for anyone who wanted to learn about the history of the games, see the stadium up close and personal and also get some activity in!

Olympic Games Family Friendly Tour

Laura_V, Jun 2024
Fun, Family Friendly Tour that includes an easy workout while learning about the history of the Olympic Games in Athens. Includes a beautiful park walk and five events of the Pentathlon (javelin, discus, shotput, long jump, and running) and finishes in the 1896 Olympic Stadium. Sports equipment is modified to ensure safe fun for all. Our guide, Dean, knew lots of Olympic history and did a great job engaging all of the guests. After the tour, take the free walking tour of the Olympic museum in the stadium to cool down and see torches from past Olympics.

Fun athletic activity

Hannah_R, Jun 2024
My husband and I had a great time learning the history behind the Olympic Games and certain sports. It was fun to participate and learn more

A gem of an experience!

Jenna_B, Feb 2024
This is an experience that you don’t want to miss! Our guide Evi was a fitness expert but she catered towards all levels of fitness. My daughter has a broken wrist and was still able to participate and have a great time. We learned all about the ancient games, how to throw discus, javelin and shot put and then of course the highlight was racing around the track in the Olympic stadium. This is ideal for all levels of fitness and really unique. I highly recommend!

Our very own Olympics!

Paul_D, Dec 2023
We came as a group of 4 old school friends of varying fitnesses. CATHERINE with a K or with a C (it doesn't matter) was a fantastic host. The games were a right laugh and it was great to run round the Olympic stadium. It was lighthearted but we made it competitive. Catherine was very knowledgeable and spent time to tell us historical information and pitched it at the right level for us. It wasn't intense and anyone could take part really. We got to use and learn the technique on real javelin and discuss. The pentathalon was shotput, javelin (both with training equipment), standing long jump (which was harder than it looks), in the training area nearby then the finalie was the 100m and 400m events in the Olympic stadium to end. Oh you have to pay 10 euro to get in there or 5 euro for students. It was a right laugh. As with anything, the company made it

Unique and fun way to learn and tour

amy_k, Oct 2023
Fun hands on learning of Olympic history and super knowledgeable of athletics. Also introduced us to a culinary treasure the oregano potato chips. Wish we had those in the states. Had a ball!

Interactive games and fun facts!

Tonya_Z, Aug 2023
We had a blast with Katerina! She was informative about the history of the Olympics and she hosted fun, interactive games for us to play as a family! It was perfect for my competitive teenagers! If I can blend them getting some history while having fun then that is a win!

Must do, once in a lifetime experience!

Yvonne, Jul 2023
This is such a unique experience and was so much fun! My daughter and I really came away with such amazing pictures and now, memories! Thank you!!!

Fun for the whole family!

Alison_T, Jun 2023
This was so much fun. Evie and her work partner were fantastic. It was fun that the kids in the group had their own trainer, and she was wonderful with them. The history lesson along with the activity of was perfect. Ending the experience in the stadium was so special. I highly recommend this for families. It’s something everyone can enjoy.

Our guides were fun, knowledgeable, and overall amazing! Highly recommend this experience to learn about the ancient and modern Olympics!

Totally incredible

DrDebabrata_B, Jun 2023
A very memorable experience. The guide trained us in a few Olympic sports and provided information for the old and large stadium (Panathenaic). She was very knowledgeable and a member of the national water polo team. This is an excellent activity for both children and adults. In the end we got a prize.

Catherine , the Gold Medalist of Tour Guides

Martin_M, Apr 2023
Was Catherine a normal tour guide or a goddess who came down from Mt Olympus to lead our group? She was energetic, friendly and engaging and kept us all moving. She sprinkled information about the Olympic Games while teaching us the javelin, shot put and discus Competing as a family was fun and running in the stadium is a nice experience. The tour preview said it is 5 euros in cash only to enter the stadium but they now take cards and price is 10euro per person. Three cheers to Catherine the champion of tour guides

Awesome experience!

Candace_S, Sep 2022
This experience was educational and fun. It was not an intense workout so if that is what you are looking for, this is not the excursion for you. But, you will get to learn about the history of the Olympics and have fun playing a few of the events. The guide was knowledgeable and running in the stadium was very cool. So glad we did this!

Favorite Activity in Athens

Shayla_J, Aug 2022
So much fun! This was my family’s favorite activity in Athens! We competed against each other throwing a javelin, shot put, discs, long jump and then finished with a race in the first modern day Olympic stadium. My 9 and 11 year old kids loved it.

Exceptional!!

Eva_G, Jul 2022
The experience was truly extraordinary, and fun for the entire family (including teens). We participated in what truly felt like the Olympic games. Our host included historical context as she let us through many of the traditional Olympic events. She is a trainer, and so she was really able to coach us very well through events including javelin, discus, shotput, and long jump. The experience was capped off with the unbelievable feeling of running a lap around the track at the actual Olympic Colosseum. For anyone who is a fan of the Olympics, I would recommend it as a once in a lifetime experience.

Unique experience!

Nicola_C, Jun 2022
Really enjoyed this experience as it was very interactive and something a bit different! Our guide was wonderful and would definitely recommend!

A different way to enjoy Athens

Katya_P, Jul 2019
We were looking for a different experience for our stay in Athens and we decided to try this one. It ended up being a very fun, interesting and well organised morning. The guide was a prepared personal trainer who gave us insights of the historical context, alongside the physical warm-up and exercises. The activity consisted on a sort of easy pentathlon to challenge ourselves and a few exercises about discus and javelin throw. The day finishes inside the stadium (the ticket is not included, but I recommend not to miss this part. It's 5€ and it includes an audio tour you can complete afterwards. It was good fun, highly recommended.
