Excellent tour. Very informative. Dimitris is a great tour guide. He has a lot of knowledge to share. We enjoyed it very much. We would recommend it anyone.
This was a great tour. Showed us all the hidden gems of the city. Very knowledgeable and friendly,answered any questions we had and gave us lots of recommendations.
Below the Acropolis is part of Athens you don’t want to miss!
Our guide, George, was not only knowledgeable, but passionate about his history! It was infectious how excited he was, and he took us to some out of the way spots we would never have known about otherwise!

Good pace to see a lot of things. Our guide (George) was very good. We saw many things different from the prior day tour where we did the acropolis and Parthenon.
We had a fantastic walking tour with our very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly guide George Kokkos. He made Ancient Greece come alive for us! 10/10!
Excellent tour of the hidden gems of Athens. Dimitri’s history knowledge and is a wealth of information. He will not only tell you about the Ancient history of the ruins you visit, but provides a good contemporary history of Greece’s national financial woes, but also the impact to the Greek people and the resulting “brain drain”, the mass change in ownership of property and land in the downtown area, and the impending demographic shift that could hurt the country even more. Finally, he genuinely shares his recommendations for any questions you may have about restaurants, bars, desserts, etc. Suggest people book this tour soon after arriving in Greece to provide them with the information to make the most of your visit.
It was a wonderful tour covering many different areas. Really enjoyed George's stories, wealth of knowledge and engaging personality. Highly recommend!
This hidden gems walking tour in Athens was a great way to spend a morning. We were a small group, which made it feel really relaxed and easy to enjoy.
Dimitris was a great host, friendly and easy to talk to. He showed us some great sites we would not have found on our own and shared lots of tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay.
I would definitely recommend this tour when visiting Athens!

George gave us a great introduction to Athens! We are so glad we did this tour the day we arrived- it helped us stay awake and prevented a bit of jet lag. George was so thoughtful and the pre-communication with Dimitris was excellent!
Our time with George was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece and Turkey! Would absolutely recommend, it gave us so much more insight and understanding about the historical context of what we were seeing around the city and gave us SO much more confidence to navigate Athens on our own afterwards. Not to mention we ate at every restaurant that was recommended and thoroughly enjoyed them all!
This experience was a great mix of history, culture, and local hidden spots. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared many interesting stories and useful tips. We visited both famous places and quiet corners I would never have found on my own. The small group made it easy to enjoy and connect. I truly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to see the real Athens!

Perhaps if we had actually been able to take this tour I could have given it a higher rating. I would just say, if you are looking for a dependable tour, perhaps this isn’t the tour you are looking for. A couple days before our scheduled tour Dimitris reached out via WhatApp (not via Viator) to see if I could change to the noon tour from our scheduled 5 pm tour or one the next day. I told him our flight didn’t arrive until 11 am and we were already booked for the next day, so that wouldn’t be possible. I asked if he needed to cancel. He asked if I could do the 7 pm tour instead. I told him we already had evening plans and again asked if he needed to cancel. He said no, we could stick with the 5 pm tour.
Then on the day of the tour I received an email from Viator 4 hours before it was supposed to start, notifying me the tour had been canceled due to weather. There absolutely was no bad weather in sight.
I would have absolutely been fine if Dimitris had just canceled when he first reached out to me. I would have had time to find something else for that afternoon. But with just a few hours notice it was too late.
So again, I can’t speak to how good the tour is since we never went on it. But if you want to book a reliable tour — this one may not be for you.

Food was excellent choice. Tour guide was very good,,enjoyed all the food we received.would recommend to everyone.easy walk wasn’t difficult at all. Definitely a must to do.
