Acropolis was the highlight but the city tour and museum with it are great also. Bring water, very hot usually. Acropolis gets very crowded so early tours are best. Excellent experience.

It’s rushed. With hindsight, as we were travelling off season, we could have done the tour without a guide (we did not need to skip the line) and spent more time in the museum. But we did receive quite a lot of useful information from our guide.

Our tour guide was phenomenal! I give her all the credit for making the tour enjoyable. The company needs to upgrade headsets/equipment as many had constant static. Also they changed the hotel location and I didn’t realize until I checked the messages a few minutes before the busses were supposed to load. Luckily it was a couple blocks away.

Very nice tour of the Acropolis’s museum and the actual site! We had plenty of time to look at everything. Very knowledgeable guide and she got us back to the hotel or if we wanted could roam the Plaka on our own and take taxi. Saw orig Olympic stadium!

Probably the worst tour we have experienced across 30 countries over 25 years. Guide english was very poor, disorientated, made lots of mistakes, did not have all working handsets, often got information wrong and did not know how to manage a group. The tour goes around and around the city repeating directions, not stopping at enough key buildings. Explanations were poor. Despite the protests in main CBD, driver and next guide hassled us off the bus 10-20 mins away from drop off point so they could rush to next tour. Poor organisation. Dont do this with tour operator, everyone use hop on hop off buses for city then go to Acropolis separately. A full refund would be appreciated.

Guide didn't let us know that there were 6600 steps to the Acropolis. At 76 Y/O, it was painful. Didn't make it to the top.

Guide was very good. Her knowledge of the site was exceptional.
The downside of the tour was the enormous crowds at the site and the size of the group.
Our guide did a good job of keeping the group together.

Enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint is the listening devices died for several people including mine about a third into the tour.

Given the heat advisory in Greece. Our guide should have rearranged the tour schedule and taken us to the ACROPOLIS first. The wait on the lines were extremely long due to them clising at Noon. Also hebdid not give us any opportunity to stop at the end and buy any souvenirs in the local area that we walked through to get back to the bus. Not even 10 mins! I have never been a tour where you could not buy any souvenirs!

I had already been up to the Acropolis the day before so the tour guide was very accommodating and allowed me to wait at the cafe at the entrance until the group came back down and I joined them. The Acropolis museum was phenomenal and the tour guide very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour.

Great tour guide - she was very knowledgeable. The guide got us through the line and into the museum very quickly. There was so much to see and the museum prepared us for the time we spent outside at the site. We were slowed down by members of the group heading off on their own and some of the headsets ran out of battery power before we concluded our tour.

Our to our was vey disorganized. Suppose to run from 8:30 am but was told pickup at 7:55 am. The. Bus made multiple stops before stop at Olympic stadium. Tour of city meant passing the tomb of unknown soldier four times on way to Acropolis museum and took 1+ hours. Stop at museum was to be 1 hour then 2 hours at Acropolis. Instead museum was almost 3 hours. Once this was done we were given the option of receiving tickets to Acropolis to proceed on our own and getting ourselves back to our hotel or continuing with tour. Overall the tour was crowded and not well organized. In Museum, 1 hour hearing about pottery on 1st floor, 1 hour on second floor and 1 hour on upper floors. We kept asking when we would proceed to Acropolis and response was always “soon”. Was not offered tickets to acropolis until after the 3 hours at museum. We proceeded to Acropolis on our own. Spent considerable time at top and encountered tour group moving upward on our way down.
Overall we were very dissatisfied with this tour as we spent too much time waiting and not enough time experiencing Athens.

The guide was knowledgeable. But some points of the trip were not so great. At the old coliseum, some guy dressed up in traditional Greek garb, was taking pictures but charging 5 euros. We should have been warned, as he didn’t tell til afterwards. We thought he was part of tour.
Within several minutes of getting off the bus to walk to the Acropolis museum one person was robbed on the street.
I would expect that the guide should advise the participants to keep valuables safe. The guide spent some time with the person then I guess the police are called. We continued on..again the guide didn’t tell people to keep valuables safe. Nor did the guide keep the group together..not very good crowd control. Throughout the whole trip the guide didn’t really keep group together. By the time we got to the Acropolis it was packed..not really much time for pictures. Again, not good crowd control.
Recommendations:
1. Guide should advise if scams for pictures and especially about pick pockets!
2.Guide should keep the group together better
3. Recommend going to the Acropolis first vs last. … what a zoo.

Did not enjoy this tour. Guide was very sweet but did not expect it to be in English and in French so everything she spoke about had to be repeated in two languages. Also would have liked to do the acropolis first since the later it gets, the hotter it gets. Took about two hours to get out of the museum. Would suggest to ask about this before booking.

Tour guide for half day tour on Wednesday m, July 27th, was very abrasive with group. When she entered bus, she looked at me with no mask and said “you need to have your mask on”, I said I don’t have one. She the said, “the police will give you a three hundred dollar ticket and your on your own”, she was an older lady and I could not read her name tag. She also argued with other people in the bus and as we entered museum. I did feel bad for her because she seemed unhappy at times and the trek was hard on her. I don’t take writing this review lightly but it appears she does this regularly, so hopefully you can correct this behavior. Your company should not take peoples money and then stain their trip with a disgruntled employee.

Guide was great and we were able to get into the museum and acropolis quickly. However, the equipment to hear the tour guide speak was TERRIBLE! Couldn’t hear anything between the wind, the awful ear piece, and it being too far from his face I would’ve rather just gone alone.

The tour was exceptional and enriching. My tour guide, Demetrius, was so knowledgeable and engaging. I learned the history of each destination on the tour and he was so dedicated to assuring that each member of our group was informed and included. I highly recommend this tour as the entire experience was seamless!

Will explain The reason I gave the tour a poor rating. Tour bus did not pick us on time about 20min late. Once we pick up all the other guest our tour started. We had Evan as tour guide, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave us plenty of break time, picture opportunities and answered all the questions. At the end of our trip we were supposed to be dropped off at our pick up location. Last minute we were told we would be dropped off ten minutes away from location. I told her we’re not from here we would appreciate we dropped off as stated on the reservation at location of pick up. She continues to argue about she’s running late for her next tour and will not be able to drop us off. We refused to get off then she decided to drop us 5 min walk closer near the location and we had to walk the rest of the way. Horrible experience would not recommend.
