Pass the city center and listen to onboard commentary on Amsterdam’s history and key landmarks, including the National Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Skinny Bridge. Learn more about the canals famous for their innovative hydraulic construction, and the 90 islands created when the canals were built.

My friend and I really enjoyed our evening. We did the cocktail cruise *please note there is also a cheese and wine option as well. We had snacks and several cocktails which were yummy. The driver shared some history and facts as we cruised on the water. It's not the best for taking photo's as its so dark if you are doing it as more as a sight seeing trip, I would do a day cruise. The only odd thing was the boat wasn't full yet they had us sitting with another couple, so we just asked to move to another table that was free so we could have a window seat, which worked out fine. Just make sure you choose carefully as you can't swap from cocktail to wine due to numbers. Enjoyable evening, just make sure you pack a jacket as if people open their windows it gets cold. Otherwise the boat is covered and warm.

Cruise was great. Service was great. The lights were a bit underwhelming and the guide book the city put out to follow each light sculpture was confusing.

Excellent cruise - loved seeing the canals all lit up. The boat was great and the cocktails and snacks were fantastic. There could have been a bit more commentary as the tour guide app didn't work.

This was a lovely evening. The snacks, well we could do without them. But the service was super, the people working were very pleasant in every way. Amsterdam is a very interesting city!

Great overview of the city and a lovely vantage point to see it from. Everyone involved was friendly, the tour guide was fun and informative, and as others have mentioned, your wine glass is never empty. I would advise any of my friends who were traveling to Amsterdam to do this tour. If I travel back here in a year or two, I would do it again. One piece of advice... this is the same tour as the Wine and Cheese cruise... so if you prefer to have cheese included in your snack and don't mind skipping the cocktails and going for all wine, do that tour instead.

You lose some of the effect due to the late sunset at this time of year only dark the the last 30 minutes. If you're going for the cocktails, they were mediocre, with a limited section of standards.

The route was rather disappointing for people who just came to Amsterdam and didn't have a chance to see much. We went through modern Amsterdam with absolutely bleak buildings and industrial constructions of the port at first. Only at the end of the tour the boat went into the old part of the city. Not good for the first experience! Later we took boats of other companies and discovered Amsterdam we expected to see.
However the stuff was very friendly and the cocktails were great.

Overall the drinks and snacks were great and the canal cruise was a lovely way to spend the evening. We were seated with a very nice couple on their honeymoon and the staff was very accommodating. Be aware that before you line up at the dock to board the boat, you must go to an office nearby to check in. We were not given these instructions beforehand. It would have been less frantic for us if we had known in advance. Overall, this cruise was a good value.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Great way to see Amsterdam. The Cruise follows a nice route so you get to see a lot. As well as get some information along the way. Cocktails and Snacks we're delicious - we thought it was all great value! Definitely recommend.

This was probably the best tourist experience I can imagine in Amsterdam. The boat was of great quality, the staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks were brilliant and always kept topped up. What a way to see the city too, cant recommend this enough.

Unlimited wine, in addition to the cocktails. The cocktails were watered down but the wine made up for it. . I wish there was an option to for the snacks. There was a cheese plate and wine cruise. It was a great way to see the city at night.

Great cruise fab cocktails and free flowing wine... Cheers!! I personally didn't like the nibbles which consisted of fantastically crunchy croutons and tasteless dips.... Also we had very sleepy restless young babies/children on this 9pm cruise.... Adult only would be better in my opinion.
Still enjoyed a lovely way to see Amsterdam at night, all twinkly lights very pretty..

Exchanged coupon for ticket at their offices near canal - no problem. Then waited about 20 minutes before being allowed to board the canal boat. The cocktail cruise was in conjunction with the cheese and wine cruise. Full boat. Had a choice of 6 cocktails - allowed 2. Have to say glasses were small!. provided with nibbles as well. Limited sights information provided as waitresses busy supplying drinks etc. Started off in daylight but soon went dark. Bridges are lit up at night which made tour more interesting. Overall a good night time tour, worth the money.

I have done 2 daytime canal cruises with various companies on previous Amsterdam trips. Those were great, but this time, I wanted a different perspective on this beautiful city. Cruise left at 9pm, just as the sun was setting in April in the summer -- when I usually visit -- it would definitely not be dark during the cruise. There was no commentary at all -- I do not know if this is typical for the evening cruise or there was perhaps an equipment failure on this trip -- so it was ok for our experienced group, but would not be ideal if you wanted to learn about the city and the sights you were passing. The nibbles were fine some chips and bread with various dips and the cocktails were better than we expected. Cocktail menu is limited there are only 5 choices but the very friendly staff was generous with the wine.

Floating on the canals is worth doing but for what I paid for the cocktail canal cruise was not worth my money. The cocktails were very small and we had to share snacks with our friends it wasn't like we got our own snack. I thought the people running the cruise would have pointed out some sights along the canal but the only sight they pointed out was the Anne Frank house and the church next to the house. I was a little disappointed in the cruise it was not what I had expected.
