The boat captain was a local and knew the REAL history, not made up history like some other tours

Wear sun protection during the Summer, it gets hot on the water. The tour guide was knowledgeable and highlighted historical significance topics.

LOVE IT! The boat was lovely, electric and quiet. Our guide/driver is a local educated man who’s very knowledgeable about Amsterdam. The details which he shared about the area and architecture, etc was perfect for a visit. We left feeling much more informed. (This is NOT an impersonal tour boat with a recording). Seats about 8-10 people).
The snacks / cheese board, etc were given to each couple or group. (So no sharing germs with strangers).
Many local beers and wines offered for purchase.

Amazing experience! Beautiful boat all to ourselves with a very skilled boatman and wonderful guide in Geert. We saw many spots and neigborhoods and learned so much. This tour highly reccomended. Thanks for the drinks too!

Believe the address of the boarding location even though it is an obscure little dock. It was good that they changed the boat to one with a roof as it was hot on July 14. Guide was very informative.

Lights at night cruise amazing! Only light snacks, need to have protein/small dinner beforehand. Two glasses of wine included, no cocktails. Great wooden vintage boat, small group. Boat had roof. The lit up bridges made it all magical.

Wonderful, peaceful and informative. cruise along the canals. We got to see so much more than we'd thought and find out so much more as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. Any questions asked wasn't too much trouble for them. Couldn't recommend more!

Our guide gave us lots of fun and interesting information. He also did a great job as bartender. The snacks provided were tasty and plentiful. The boat was comfortable. Unfortunately the weather turned nasty with a thunderstorm, but our guide kept us safe and dry and still made it fun.

Elli was wonderful!!! Our tour was so relaxed, snacks were delicious and drinks well provided. Elli knew a lot about his city and included some fun personal stories, which we enjoyed. Pro-tip: If you travel during the summer, definitely do a night canal. The weather was perfect, sunset was after 10:30pm, and the twinkle lights on the bridges were magical. Great way to take in the city from a new perspective!

Fantastic tour. Easy meeting point. The skipper was very knowledgeable and shared many Dutch stories and funny quips. The snacks were tasty. The wine and beer were flowing. Two hours is the perfect amount of time to relax and enjoy the city and canals.

We were told 5 minutes after departure time that the vessel was inoperable and in need of repair, different times and dates were offered and we chose a later departure time which disrupted our other scheduled activities. The trip itself was OK. The young man who made the reservation change for us offered free drinks due to the change but neglected to relay the information on to the other captain.

It was ok. The tour guide was good. The boat its self was very uncomfortable. The seats are narrow in depth and sit too high for anyone short. I took this same trip a year ago and the boat was much nicer.

We booked this cruise as our shore excursion activity for port day in Amsterdam (we were on a Norwegian cruise). We were a group of 12 (family trip) and there were 5 more passengers in addition to us. A small charcuterie board with Danish snacks was given for every two people, and a full bar and soft drinks were available for purchase (the rose wine was fantastic).
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. He was also incredibly personable and engaging with our group. Not only did we learn alot about Amsterdam, we laughed alot as well.
The boat was clean and well-maintained; it accomodated the right size group. Highly recommend.
