Thumbs up on this tour!

It is a wonderful way to visit the charming Quebec City! Our guide was warm, knowledgeable and adept at giving information, and also at keeping the schedule, with well-timed breaks. The bus itself was comfortable and quiet, affording us a solid view of the countryside between Montreal and QC. We did do the optional river cruise, but found its quality was not up to par with the rest of the tour. It would have been more fun to stay in town for lunch and to hang out.

One of the best tours I’ve been on! Our guide Louise was incredibly engaging and really made the history of Montreal come to life. Would suggest doing this on the first day of your trip to get an idea of what you’d like to dig into for the rest of your trip.

Great Class & Instructor in a Very Cool Factory Building

My wife and I had a GREAT time at the class and found Will to be very friendly, informative, and engaging. I saw some reviews from years ago that reference a home kitchen, rest assured this was in a commercial space in the old Cadbury Factory building which has been refurbished into very cool loft spaces. Plenty of bathrooms, great cleaning practices with washing sink in the kitchen where we were baking. My wife was a little apprehensive about taking our first cooking/baking class but were very happy with how it went. Totally approachable class for anyone with no experience right up to experienced baking, but wanting to learn the nuances of Montreal bagels and the differences between other bagels. This class totally removed intimidation we had with making bagels and now we're ready to go crazy and try for ourselves at home.

Don’t second-guess it, just do it!

This was one of those ideas that we had but didn’t think we would follow through on, and I am sure glad we did! This was a wonderful way to wrap up an evening, and it was the perfect amount of time to commit to. We had a great tour guide, and they and the captain were friendly, jovial, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a drink onboard and watched the sunset, while we got a really beautiful perspective of the city. Highly recommend.

Wonderful welcome to Montreal!

My husband and I enjoyed this tour immensely. Some food tours are pretty skimpy on the food. This one isn’t. Every stop was delicious and food was plentiful though most folks didn’t want to spoil the next stop by overeating. The Montreal history shared was extremely interesting and our guide, Sandy, was knowledgable, fun, and I can’t believe she could do this, but remembered (and used) all sixteen of our names throughout the three hour tour. I highly recommend this experience.

What I loved most was that it never felt like we were simply being given a list of historical facts — Maryse brought Montréal’s history, culture, architecture and neighbourhoods to life with fascinating stories, personal insights, and a great sense of humour. She was also incredibly friendly and made the whole group feel welcome and involved. You could really tell how much she loves Montréal (the city is literally in her bloodline), and that made the experience even more special. Best Walking Tour Hands Down

If I could rate this tour and our guide, François, 100/10 I would. My husband and I learned so much on this tour and saw so many incredible sights. On top of that François was so kind and helpful, taking time after to tell us about the area we are staying in and give us restaurant recommendations. We were so grateful and had a fantastic meal thanks to him! This tour is worth your time and money for sure!
