Itinerary
The best way to get from the Cruiseship port to the Mendenhall Glacier and back efficiently. With this round-trip tour you get a 30 minute narrated tour past the historic downtown, 2 hours to explore the park at your pace, the same guide brings you back to the cruise ship terminal. Pickup and drop-off points are located at the cruise ship terminal near the Goldbelt Mount Roberts Tramway. Your transfer will be confirmed instantly after making a booking. (Note to cruise-ship passengers: Please provide your ship name, docking time, and disembarkation reboarding times.)
During the 3 hour tour to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, your driver shares advice on how to explore the glacier, provides insight into Juneau history and points out well-known sites. On the return trip, listen for recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat in Juneau.

This was an excellent excursion. Our trolly driver was amazing. so full of information and enthusiasm about what he was teaching us. We were with family and friends and we all loved it. The glacier park was amazing as well with a great hike and lots of amazing views.

Easy way to get to the Glacier. They give you two hours until pick up. If you want to leave after one hour, you can if they have space on the shuttle.

Stunning views worth the walk from the visitor center. Our trolley driver Mary was both funny and full of information.
Very informative and entertaining tour guide (Troy Ford), who suggested the best walking trails for seeing the falls and glacier. The bus dropped us off conveniently at the start of the walking trails and allowed ample time for us to explore all the sights.
The visitor center, with a short film and exhibits, is worth your time.

It’s absolutely worth it to leave Juneau and travel by shuttle up to Mendenhall Glacier and take in all the trails and the visitors centre. Our driver and guide was fun and informative! We enjoyed him very much!

Kenton our driver was fantastic and super informative. He spotted wildlife whiling driving that a normal person would never see. His knowledge and presentation made the adventure fun and educational. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
This was EXTREMELY overpriced!! Basically it is a shuttle to take you to and from the entrance of the glacier park. Entrance to the Mendenhall Glacier is only $5 per person. We paid over $150. The glacier hike itself was nice and has beautiful scenery, but I would not recommend paying this much for a shuttle. Another couple on our cruise paid a fraction of the price to get transportation.

Taking the trolley to the Glacier was easy. Our driver provided fun facts about Juneau along the way. Our driver was very welcoming and his professionalism much appreciated.

I just considered this a way to get to the glacier and back but Troy made it so much more than that. He was such a nice and informative driver, and I felt very confident I’d get linked back up with him to get to the ship on time!! Great excursion
This service takes you all the way to the Mendenhall visitor center! What a lovely walk to the Falls! Be sure to dress warmly in September.

Excellent trip, especially for the reasonable cost. This excursion brings takes you to Mendenhall Glacier offering a number of excellent viewing points. But the added feature is the easy hike to Nugget Falls. And you can hike right to the edge of the falls; it doesn’t get better that. This excursion easily gives you enough time to do both of these activities. Great bang for your buck.

This is a trolley or a bus ride to Medenhall glacier which then you'll also be able to see in the waterfall. You need to be able to walk over a mile but the path is paved. The driver was excellent, he gave us 2 hours, he was knowledgeable with facts on the riide there and back. Total time was exactly a stated 3 hours.

Very nice way to get to the glacier. Drops you near the visitor center and you can choose which trails you want to take. Plenty of time to explore without being too long.
This excursion was wonderful. We easily checked in and met our driver, Frank. He gave us lots of information about Juneau along the way to the glacier. Once there, we had two hours to hike and explore. We walked to Nugget Falls, which took about twenty minutes along a very pretty trail. The falls are spectacular! The visitor center has interesting displays and a gorgeous view of the glacier. Two hours was more than enough time to do everything we wanted without feeling rushed. Frank picked up everyone in the group and drove us back to town. We loved this excursion!
It is basically just a 25 minute bus ride with driver commentary , just get a taxi as this was not worth the cost.
good guide, the glacier was a bit underwhelming compared to Glacier Bay where we were the day before but do not miss the short hike to the waterfall, it was awesome
Easy to find and everyone was very friendly. Our Trolly driver was funny and informative. The Glacier and falls where beautiful. We had plenty of time to visit Nugget Falls and get plenty of pictures.
Very worthwhile! Troy was an excellent driver and storyteller. We were fortunate enough to see bald eagles and a bear or 2 in the fields!
Great experience , had enough time at glacier to walk to nugget falls and then other photo points . Issue with people hogging walk way .

Viator's driver was a local and very knowledgeable and friendly. The time allotted at Mendenhall was sufficient for all of us to walk to the waterfalls and spend some time at the visitors center.
The trip was enjoyed by all of our group.
Travel time to the glacier is approx 20-30 minutes, 2 hours there, 20-30 minutes back to Juneau - Total time of excursion is 3 hours not 2 hours. No complaints, just didn't realise the time/distance to reach the glacier and Nugget Falls. Well worth the time!!
Mary was our driver and did a fantastic job! She shared her wealth of knowledge about the area as we rode to and from the Glacier.
This was a great experience to see the Mendenhall Glaciers! Our tour guide, Todd was exceptional and very informative and friendly. I would highly recommend the tour!
