Loved this tour!

Our guide Alessandra was AMAZING! She had lived in Rome all of her life and loved the city. She was very enthusiastic and loved sharing her knowledge. Her stories were supplemented with a notebook of pictures which made the history of the colosseum come alive! We learned a lot from this tour in addition to experiencing the awe of ancient history.

The tour was well planned. It was a long day but our tour guide, Gianluca was fantastic. You can tell he is passionate about his job and showing tourists around Tuscany. He is extremely knowledgable. We saw many gorgeous cities in Tuscany, drank some delicious wine, and experienced beautiful architecture. I would recommend this tour and Gianluca.

Great Tour if you want it to be more personal.

So I booked these tickets literally 20 minutes before the start time, and Seif our tour guide was in front of me minutes later and got us right in! Before we went to see David, he showed us the really cool painting of the wedding dance. He explained why it was so significant and what made it so special. Then we went to see David. Seif was incredibly knowledgeable about Michelangelo and David, and because it was just my mom, dad, and me, he made it really interactive. He asked us questions about the statue—why we thought David was standing a certain way, what looked “off,” and what we thought Michelangelo might have been thinking when he carved it. It really made us stop and look at David in a completely different way. I feel like I have a whole new perspective now when I look at the statue. He also showed us several unfinished pieces that Michelangelo had started but never completed. He explained each one and the thought process behind them, giving us a better understanding of what Michelangelo was trying to accomplish. It was such a cool experience, and I’m so glad we got to see David this way! Seif was a great tour guide!! Very knowledgeable! Thank you!

This tour was well worth the price of admission. Beatrice, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about so many things involved in the tour. It hit all the highlights that I intended to see with a full explanation of the history behind the art. So great to learn about the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s and to see the museum’s art.

I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Francesca, was very informative and entertaining. I would suggest that Viator give better directions to the meeting point. The meeting point is on the street level of the Colosseum near a blue subway sign showing the Colosseum subway stop, The TOURIKS representative is holding a yellow TOURIKS placard.

Just Amazing!

Highly recommend you book this tour! It was incredible and our guide, Alex was so fun and very knowledgeable. With massive crowds every day visiting the Vatican, you cannot avoid tons of people- but the tour was essential in getting us through the bottlenecks and not waiting. Three hours went quickly - you could spend days in the museums! But you can stay behind as long as you like in St. Peter’s Basilica, which is truly awe-inspiring. Thank you, Alex, for an amazing experience!!

The best tour ever

This was the best tour I've taken in all of Europe. Our guide Francesco was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I felt like I left this tour having learned a lot. My only possible critique is that for a tour so long i really think there should be a bathroom break somewhere. Possibly before leaving the colosseum would be a good time. Other than that, this was a perfect tour.

Amazing Golf Cart Tour in Rome!

One of the best tours in Rome! Alessandro was great! He shared a ton of history and all the hot spots and it was just so nice to sit back and enjoy the sights! We had flown in that day, so it was a great way to get acquainted with the city, and not get too exhausted walking around that first day. Also, it was great to be picked up in front of our hotel and dropped off there as well. He communicated via text and it was easy peasy! He also set us up at a bar by the Colosseum for a cocktail and aperitivo. On Sept. 23rd our Colosseum tour was canceled due to the tragedy there, and we honestly talked about using that time for another golf cart tour, it was that good!! Do it!!!😊
