Easy to order and was able to avoid not getting into the monument due to the struggle of getting access to tickets through the government website. Who would’ve thought a private business could do a better job than government?
The only reason this is not a five star review is that they promised a visitors guide, which is not part of the program and is not available at the monument. I believe this was mentioned by several other people in the reviews. So I needs to take that down as it is promissory and incorrect.

Saved time getting in with a 10:00 reservation at 9:30. Great experience and tons of information about the monument. A patriotic way to visit DC with great views of the city.

If you make a mistake in your time slot selection and realize over 24 hrs in advance, they will not work with you to change the date, time or even give credit toward another future booking.
I realized my mistake and called customer service for help. I was told there was nothing they could do. We did get to do the sightseeing we wanted AND we lost money because we had a flight to catch the next day.
I'm most disappointed that they wouldn't even give me credit towards a future booking.
I will never use Viator for tickets and excursions again.

I couldn’t get in to monument. Park rangers told us these are scam and regular tickets are free and we paid $25 for something free

This is a wonderful experience. Going all the way to the top of the monument. Seeing the point where the marble stones start changing the outside structure. Seeing the history up at the top.
It’s all a wonderfully detailed story about how the people can come come together. Even better to know is that one person volunteered and paid to repair the earthquake damage to the monument. His name is David Rubinstein. Special thanks from me and others that would join me in thanking you for the repairs at the Washington Monument.

An unforgettable experience! The views from the top were absolutely incredible and gave a unique perspective of Washington DC. I always like to do this tour on day one when bringing friends to the capitol - it gives them a “lay of the land” view for exploration.

Very nice to be able to schedule our day by booking a specific time in advance. No lost time in line waiting for same day tickets. We started early by uber to Lincoln memorial, then walking up the mall to Vietnam memorial, WWII memorial, arriving at Washington monument exactly on time for our prearranged reservation.

When we arrived at the monument, we were told by the ranger that Viator did not buy any tickets for any of their customers for the day. They had my reservation but no tickets were purchased. Viator charged my credit card and I want a refund. Disappointing start of my trip.

I am aware these tickets usually are free if you know how to book them. I struggled to “snag” the and didn’t want to wait in the morning line. To me this was more than worth it. Communication was on point. Tickets got emailed to me. The wait was smooth and the experience was worth while. Highly recommend. Thanks for allowing me to sleep in and still have tickets.

We tried to snare free tickets, but we're unsuccessful. Instead, we paid a small fee for a guaranteed trip to the top. It was a beautiful and sunny day! We had great views in all four directions. Worth the money.

We were happy to be able to “skip the line” since it was raining, even though the
park ranger complained about resellers taking tickets. We were glad to enter quickly, so for us it was worth the price since the free tickets were not available.

After missing out on obtaining entry tickets directly from Recreation.Gov, I found Viator. We were able to get tickets for the Washington Monument. We arrived early and showed our tickets. We were told to wait in the line for our tour time. Not everyone enters at the tour time. For our time, we were among the first group of people brought to the entrance. We had a fantastic time at the Monument. Once you are at the top, you are allowed to spend as much time there as you want. I am happy I found Viator because without them, we would have missed out on the experience. We likely won't ever be back to DC.

Our experience utilizing Viator for this particular monument was exceptionally smooth, with all provided descriptions proving accurate. The tour operator consistently delivered timely updates leading up to the tour date. Upon arrival, we were directed to the Park Ranger stationed at the monument.
We were then guided to our designated waiting area, equipped with stone benches for comfort. Prior to proceeding through security, we received comprehensive information. Subsequently, we were directed to the elevator entrance. At the summit, we appreciated the detailed information provided about the monument. The views from the windows were remarkable, complemented by informative descriptions of the surrounding landmarks. We were informed that we could extend our visit as long as we wished, which eliminated any sense of being rushed. Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable. After the tour we received a text asking if everything went well. Very caring.

I didn’t know to reserve these tickets a month in advance. After trying for days to secure tickets online for the day we needed them, I went to Viator. They immediately had the tickets for the day I needed them at a reasonable price.
Communication was via email and text. They made certain everything was in order. We had a wonderful visit to the Washington Monument with our granddaughter!

Very simple, and effective. The process is deceptively simple. With the tickets , we walked up to the front entrance, and within five minutes, we were on our way up. The security is remarkably strict, but straightforward.
