What are people saying about Washington DC

Beyond grateful.
We could not have had a better experience! Our guide Alan went ABOVE and BEYOND for my family. I loved that he contacted us prior to our trip to get to know us and our needs...and boy do we have needs! I brought my parents to DC so that my father could visit the Vietnam Wall to say goodbye to those he lost. Both of my parents have very limited mobility, and to say that getting them to and from where we were going was difficult would be an understatement. Alan was patient, accommodating, and understanding. He is also VERY knowledgeable about the area and historically accurate.
I will be forever grateful to Alan for giving my dad such a great experience.
If you are planning to visit DC, you will not be disappointed booking a tour with Alan!

Gratitude for America’s Founding Fathers
Allen, our Guide, is extremely knowledgeable, covers high points, little known details about our nation’s cherished documents and history. He comes prepared with his own guide book/manual to accompany his narrative. Additionally, he is personable, relaxed, welcomes questions. I booked this tour so we would understand the overwhelming scope of The National Archives Museum in a condensed period of time. There were 3 of us touring with Allen; he is superb! Additionally, when you view the original documents and realize the depth of character & divine inspiration of our Founding Fathers, you will well up with gratitude for the greatest nation in the world! An experience we will never forget!

Private DC Tour with Maaz
This is the way to go for seeing the main DC monuments and sights for a quick 3 hour tour! Very personable and you are dropped off right in front of each stop. Plus, you get to go at your own pace. They also pick and drop you off right from your hotel. They also provided the best vehicle available to accommodate my wife’s bad hip!

Smithsonian air & space museum tour with Meghan
Meghan, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable with each and every exhibit she showed us. My husband, who works in the aeronautical field, was able to confirm within his own knowledge how accurate she was with her facts. We were a bit late for the tour because of getting lost, but she was very patient with us and waited. She helped guide us to where we needed to meet. She had a smile on her face the whole time! I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Meghan as your guide!

National museum of art tour with Annemarie
Annemarie , our tour guide , was amazing and very knowledgeable with each and every exhibit. She was very patient and able to answer all of my inquisitive daughter’s questions! I love that it’s a small, intimate group size especially for my autistic daughter who gets easily overwhelmed within large groups. I highly recommend this tour, even if art isn’t your cup of tea, you will definitely learn and discover a newfound respect for the fine arts with Annemarie’s true passion within her words!

Thank you for what you do!
I would first like to Thank you and Chris (our guide). Chris did an amazing job. My dad is an 81 year old navy vet and Chris got him to the places he really wanted to see that we had just spent the last 36 trying to figure out how to get him close enough to be able to walk to even one of these monuments. Chris made it happen. I would highly recommend this Company. The history we learned along the way was an excellent experience. My dad was able to walk to 3 before he was wore out but every single stop was not far from the monument. My fiancé and I got him the rest of the pictures. Thank you for what you do!

Wonderful Experience
I booked a late night tour on my stop over in DC. Amin was my guide/driver on this fantastic experience. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and an amazing driver. With Amin's guidance, I saw much more of DC than I expected from the tour description. I had ample time and opportunity to take pictures. The Vietnam War Memorial was the one I wanted to explore a bit and Amin gave me the time without rushing. That meant a lot to me.
I can not recommend this tour highly enough. So much history, and every question I had Amin had my answer. Thank you Viator and Thank you Amin for this amazing experience. Yes, I need to bring my family next time to DC and book this tour.

Great way to see Arlington Cemetary
Meg was my tour guide and she was very knowledgeable about the cemetery and those buried there. She found the nurse statue I wanted to see and took me there even though it wasn't part of her tour. That was special to me. She was funny and I really enjoyed spending the morning with her. However there is a lot of walking and many hills....so you need to consider that. The cemetery is beautiful and the changing of the guards is moving. Meg showed me both presidents graves, justices graves, and Joe Louis, Lee Marvin and Maureen O'Hara graves. This tour is probably more geared to adults. I highly recommend this tour.

Only way to see the sights!
We had a great time on the night e-cart tour of DC with Jared! He was fun, kind, and very attentive—opening doors, making sure we got back to the right cart at each stop, and keeping everything smooth and easy.
He shared a great mix of history and fun facts, and with only four of us in the cart, it felt really personal. The e-cart was such a fun way to see the city at night.
Definitely the way to do a DC tour—highly recommend!

Tour that Doesn’t Feel Rushed…PERFECT!
We had an amazing time with Mr Eddie! He texted the day before to confirm pickup and arrived 15 mins early for our tour. He explained our stops and set expectations for our stops. As we drove he gave a history of DC while pointing out places of interest. He drove slow enough that we all had an opportunity to see what was being discussed. Our favorite stop was the Pentagon. He walked with us and gave a detailed account of the days events as well as details about the memorial itself. We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience! We loved the personal touch he provided for our family.

Annemarie was amazing!
Annemarie was absolutely amazing! She made sure no one was left behind and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. She was incredibly thoughtful—giving us time to take photos and even offering to take pictures for us and others.
If you’re looking for a guide in DC who goes beyond general knowledge and shares deeper insights that most people wouldn’t know, Annemarie is the one to choose.
Thank you for such an incredible experience!

Must do Smithsonian tour
Christopher was wonderful. I learned so much and the 2 1/2 hour tour went very quickly. I would love to repeat this tour or book him for other museums as he is a wealth of knowledge. Learned much more from him pointing out specific/special exhibits/information that I ever could’ve done on my own.
