This was a really enjoyable outing. It got cold and windy (bring layers!!) but there were sheltered areas. A naturalist told us about what we were seeing and took photos that were shared with us. The cruises collect and share important scientific information about fully wild animals, so your ticket purchase might do a little good.

Had a great time out in the water and getting the opportunity to see whales, sea lions, and other species. The process to board was super easy, they had food/drinks on the boat ride, and the staff were super helpful in educating us about the wildlife and what to spot for. They were super attentive and happy to answer any questions.

Had a lot of fun. The crew was great. Took a while but we did see a whale and it was amazing. Would recommend.

Very nice new clean vessle

Rob_M, Jul 2026
The crew was great and the vessle was very nice. It was brand new as of May 2026. Although we did not see any orkas, we did see a couple of gray whales and a humpback whale. We also saw some sea lions. The food on board was good as well and the naturalist aboard have interesting facts about the wildlife in the area.

Had a great time! We saw orca and sea lions. Wish I had a better camera. The boat was comfortable and our Naturalist Alli was amazing. We learned a lot and had a wonderful tour. Beautiful views and great wildlife. Bring your jacket and I recommend pants. It is windy and gets chilly on deck while you are watching. A great deal and they even shared their pictures with us.

The naturalist was really knowledgeable and I love that we were given a link to all the professional photos that the crew took! They turned out way better than what my phone could capture. We were able to see orcas and humpbacks, as well as several bird species and sea lions. There was plenty of space on the boat a nice selection of food available for purchase. 10 out of 10

A good experience. Lovely boat. Saw whales but very far away. Shame we did not see them come up more though.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Geraldine! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the boat and had the opportunity to see whales. The distance is intentional: regulations in Washington State require vessels to maintain a safe distance from whales to protect them. We're always thrilled when they make an appearance, even from afar!

Whale watching

Colleen_C, May 2026
The line took a minute to get through once through wait in area and get on boat. They took us to area where they heard they might be what gorgeous animals orcas are. Would like more information on them but it was great and staff nice and friendly

We went to see Orcas . It was a great experience. Easy check in and the naturalist did a great job . We even had a Orca go under our boat. A pleasant surprise that we also received pictures from our expedition.

Disappointed whale watch

Cynthia_H, May 2026
Not impressed. Was suppose to start at 9:00am and they changed it without notice to 12:00. Saw a lot of spouts but only a couple tails.
