Please meet us at the boat "Coral Kai" located in Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor, Slip B-1. Complete your online waiver prior to arrival and arrive at the boat 15 minutes early as the boat departs at your scheduled time. Parking is limited so we suggest arriving extra early to find a spot or take a taxi.

Snorkel with Hawaiian green sea turtles on this group tour from Waikiki, where all the logistics are planned for you so you just need to concentrate on having a good time.
You’ll be taken to Waikiki’s Turtle Canyons, where you’ll be sure to swim with those green beauties. Plus, there are all sorts of colorful fish that swim near the reef.
Before you get into the water, your guide will give you a snorkel demo, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel secure in the water. You can use provided snorkel gear, so you don’t need to bring that separately.
Snacks will also be provided, which will be welcome after some serious snorkeling with sea turtles.
You’ll be taken to Waikiki’s Turtle Canyons, where you’ll be sure to swim with those green beauties. Plus, there are all sorts of colorful fish that swim near the reef.

Living ocean tours were an amazing group of people ! We had aa wonderful experience with them ! The team was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, which made us feel comfortable and prepared. I especially appreciated how patient and helpful they were with people who were nervous or scared of the water — they really took the time to make everyone feel safe and confident.

We had a great time. It’s a simple trip to get to the spot. You can literally see Waikiki from the place. Plenty of fish and plenty of turtles. One got pretty close even. The crew were great. I highly recommend.

Great snorkeling experience with a crew who obviously like their jobs. Easy to find. In time departure. Plenty of fin sizes for everyone. Saw lots of turtles and fish. A tad crowded, but we managed.

It was our first time snorkeling as a family of four, but we were able to enjoy it completely.
Safety was carefully managed at all times, and the procedures for entering the water were fully controlled, so we felt at ease and were able to enjoy the experience from start to finish.

I was disappointed to not see turtles, maybe they need to change the name of the tour to just a snorkeling tour without turtles. Yes you might be lucky enough to see a turtle on the day but the name suggests there would be a lot of turtles in that area.

This whole excursion was amazing from beginning to end. The staff were engaging and attentive the whole time. I was nervous about snorkeling but they took the time to teach me with patience. An unnecessarily fast ride out to the spot. What my daughter and I experienced was over half/majority of the group getting sick. To the point..being a nurse myself I felt obligated to stay on board to care for people, not even going into the water. No turtle sighting and felt it was not worth the money, in fact we all deserved some percentage of refund despite the ‘warning’ of sea sickness. I met a woman on this excursion whom took a motion sickness medication prior AND still was vomitting. This was a traumatic and a messed up 2 hours of my life. I did not even want to put the 1-star for this review but it was mandatory to allow my review. I hope this does not happen again for anyone else that chooses to book with LIVING OCEAN TOURS.

This past winter has brought some unusually challenging ocean conditions here in Hawaii, and unfortunately we’ve had to cancel many trips because of it. While Hawaii is often known for its sunshine and calm seas, there are times when we have to work with the conditions that Mother Nature gives us, and on some days the ocean can be much rougher than anyone would like—even for those who take precautions for motion sickness.
We always do our best to advise guests ahead of time and make the safest call possible, but we understand that this experience fell short of what you were hoping for, especially without wildlife sightings and with such rough conditions.

We went with our kiddos 4 &6, the team was accommodating for the beginning levels. Also helpful for a kiddo that was not interested. Bean bags in the front became the spot for us :) still saw turtles, dolphin, and fish

Turbid, cloudy water (visibility 15’) and crowded conditions (over 100 people all trying to snorkel in an area the size of a basketball court) made this a poor experience. Aquatic bumper snorkeling in a fog. Captain and core were friendly and helpful however.

We saw a turtle or two, but mostly at the surface. The majority of them were hanging out way below us. We did see a number of tropical fish so that was very enjoyable.
The equipment and life preserver were excellent and easy to use. There were several other snorkeling companies at this location so you had to watch out for other people so you didn't bump into them.
Our guide was excellent and gave us very informative data. Overall it was enjoyable being in warm water though it was a bit choppy the day we went. (End of March 2026 on a Monday).
There is no real place to change at the marina and toilets for the ladies are not private so be prepared to have your swim suit on with a cover up if need be and leave a change of clothes in your car. Bring a towel and simple bag with you.
