Wonderful tour with amazing sites!

We had an excellent tour including Rotorua, Waiotapu, Te Puia, and Māori. Our tour guide, David, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He was very helpful with the needs of his tour group. The sites were amazing! The geothermal springs and mud flats were amazing. The tour was enhanced by David’s selection of stops for snacks at the best bakery and ice cream shop! Truly amazing experience

An absolutely amazing and magical experience. Our driver (Mickey) kicked it off with a 2+ hour narration along the way, packed with information. Our guide for the Hobbiton tour (Sam) made the tour so much fun and an amazing experience with his LoTR & Hobbit-themed puns and "bad jokes" (according to him). It was truly magical to experience Hobbiton and see all the filming locations in the Shire, along with the backstories of each and every important location. We were also blessed with great weather & blue skies, which made it even better. The buffet lunch was also really good. All in all, it was worth every penny.

Great tour

We had a fantastic day with Cheeky Kiwi visiting both Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. It’s a long day, but absolutely worth it. Hobbiton was beautiful and incredibly well done, even if you’re not a huge Lord of the Rings fan. The Waitomo Caves were equally impressive. Everything was well organized and the day flowed smoothly without feeling rushed. Our Cheeky Kiwi guide, Liam, made the journey fun and interesting and added a lot to the overall experience. A memorable day and an excellent way to see both Hobbiton and Waitomo from Auckland. Highly recommended!

What a day! Absolutely...

What a day! Absolutely wonderful from start to end. Really good communication in terms of pick up which was really appreciated given the early morning. Smooth journey over to Hobbiton which is a good couple of hours away via windy roads so keep that in mind! Hobbiton is absolutely worth a visit, so so special to see. Lunch was great, well catered for with lots of options. The caves, which in all honestly I hadn’t really considered as I was all about Hobbiton, were absolutely wonderful. I am so grateful we ended up here. Thanks to Liam, our driver. Super friendly, super personable and lots of great knowledge that I’ve taken away with me.

The staff were communicative, be prepared for some choppy waves(part of the exp for my mind) limited seating so if mobility is an issue potentially look at other options. Saw plenty of wildlife but know nothing is guaranteed. It is a long trip if you have small children have something to keep them distracted:)

Caves, Kiwi and Blue Springs are a Spiritual Experience

The Glowworms Cave experience is one of beauty and reverence. Our guide was informative, respectful and spiritual. This is an experience not to be missed. The Kiwi Hose was quant, and enjoyable. Our Driver came along with us and gave some interesting facts bout the birds we saw. Finally the Blue Springs was a lovely experience of pure nature which capped the day nicely. Now, a word of caution - be sure to check with your tour company about pick up times. Know that you will have only 20 minutes for a breakfast take away after 2 hours of driving. The same can be said for the Lunch time - which came at 3:30pm on our excursion. The entire day was 11+ hours as advertised.

Incredible Experience!

In March, we went on a tour to the Waitomo Caves with David, and he did everything to make the trip memorable and comfortable. On the drive over, he entertained us with interesting stories of history and science. We also stopped at a bakery that was great. For the actual caves, a different guide took us through, and the glow worm cave was simply out of this world! What an incredible experience! I did a fair bit of research in choosing which location to see the glow worm caves, and I am so happy with this choice! On the way back, David took us to the Fat Kiwi, which was a delicious lunch spot. As a driver and tour guide, he made us feel safe and well cared for during the tour. I would highly recommend visiting such an incredible spot with this tour company!

Beautiful views!!

Beautiful tour! We had the best time and Ayla was an excellent guide. She gave us plenty of opportunities for pictures, she explained everything in great detail, and she was just super nice to boot! I highly recommend the tour. Also, the company notified me that they found my inhaler in their van (I hadn’t even noticed it was missing) and dropped it off at my hotel. What a great company!

Highly recommended tour of Hobbiton and Waitomo glowworm caves

Wonderful tour. We took the tour of Hobbiton and the Waitomo glowworm caves during the off season. It was perfect because we felt like we had the places to ourselves. Hobbiton is bigger than I expected. We felt fully immersed in the village. The "Hobbit meal" afterwards was delicious. The Waitomo glowworm caves were also spectacular. It was a beautiful experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Pickup was on time and...

Pickup was on time and the driver (Ark) was incredibly friendly and well informed about local landmarks and history. We got there with plenty of time to browse the gift shop and have lunch before the tour started and enjoyed a scenic drive on the way back which also arrived with no delays. Overall a fantastic experience.

Great tour and amazing...

Great tour and amazing experience! It was an early day as there is quite a bit of driving but our guide stopped a couple of times and was attentive to what the group wanted. The Waitomo caves were so cool and a fun story and local guide. Te Puie was a great demonstration, geyser viewing and even got to see some kiwi birds. A long day but well worth it!!
