Overview
Set out on a whale watching adventure—and leave all the logistics to someone else. After convenient transport to Auke Bay via bus from downtown Juneau, you’ll have an easy transfer to the boat. Amazing tour!! I am a 15 year old girl who went on the tour with my mom and 13 y/o sister. This was truly a great experience all around and we recommend it to anyone!! The tour guide, Nia, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and she really helped make the excursion so memorable. Truthfully, she was one of the best guides I’ve had on any tour. Our captain Simon was also friendly and the two guides paired well as a team. Everything went smoothly: we were directed to our boat quickly, we were advised on how to spot the whales, and we ended up seeing both humpback whales and orcas! We were even given snacks and hot cocoa!! It was overall so entertaining and I had loads of fun. Totally recommend to everyone.

Small group “whale watching tour” but big on service with a “guarantee” to see whales! Definitely recommend this company! We saw 8 whales, otters, seals and eagles
Fantastic! Our Captain and Naturalist were Amazing. Both very knowledgeable, and worked together with other vessels to get us all the best experience possible. Had a great time out on the water.
Juneau has been one of the best places for whale watching - we have been super lucky in our travels. On this trip we got a pod of killer whales which was fantastic. The tour was educational and fun!
We had a great time and got great pictures. Our nature guide was very informative and the captain got us on the whales in a very timely manner. We even had a whale that came right up to the boat. Great experience!!
Don’t expect to see whales all the time but your experience will be stellar. Keep watching and be patient. Staff were informative, pleasant, and accommodating. Highly recommend
A little chaotic at the harbor but once on board the naturalist and pirate hat captain where great. We went on the Summer boat on September 7 2026 at 415pm. We saw two whales and one actually breached the surface with their head, a rare occasion according to the naturalist.
We had a great experience on this tour. They took us to three spots to see whales. The tour gave us a better view than what we could see from the cruise ship as they were able to get closer while still giving the whales space.
We appreciated the knowledge they shared as well. They seem to really love what they do.
All the snacks were unnecessary but appreciated.
And Charlie driving the bus was an added bonus. That guy is living his best life sharing info with tourists.
Wonderful tour, friendly guides, saw whales, sea lions and eagles. Loved it. I would recommend this company and will be using again in the future.
I was very impressed with the company that ran the whale watch operation. The boats, naturalist and employees were very kind and did a great job. I’ve been whale watching before and know that one should not expect to see humpback whales soar into the air! It’s enough to see the blows and the flukes and the beautiful scenery.
Very organized. Savanah our naturalist, and Jay our skipper, were both great. Savanah gave us lots of information, and Jay took us to different spots to see numerous whales. The windows on the boat open. So no looking thru steamed up windows. Could go out on the front and back of the boat when we spotted whales. Had hot cocoa, snacks, and water. GREAT!!!!
Family owned. Trip was great from pick up to drop off. Staff was knowledgeable and made us all feel welcome.
Great experience. Friendly staff and super patient with some of the older folks that were participating and needed more help. The bus driver was a hoot with stories and pointing out the local attractions along the way. The naturalist was so knowledgeable and even could identify the whales we saw. The captain did a great job giving us a smooth ride. Overall, a grand adventure.
We had a fantastic time on this tour. The naturalist was very informative and the entire crew went above and beyond to make it a great time. We saw two whales breach and it was amazing. We also received a fantastic snack on the ride back to the bus. Hands down worth the cost.
Girl with sign was preoccupied with her friend and phone. By the time she figured out we were there for the reservation, she told us we missed the bus.
She pointed to the buses in a parking lot- “run you might catch it.”
Why couldn’t she communicate with the bus to wait? The bus was STILL there.

The captain took us right to the whales! The crew were so helpful in helping us spot whales. We also got to see a group of sea lions. At the end of the whale watching, they have a small bag of snacks that had a little bit of everything! Would definitely recommend!!

It was an amazing experience. We were so lucky to get to watch bubble net feed multiple times. The crew were very nice and knowledgeable.

Very comfortable boat. Locally owned and the two crew who assisted us- Libby the naturalist and Capt JJ guided us to the whales snd it was such a rewarding experience.There was a group of tenor so and we watched then doing all sorts of wonderful things like lunge feeding. A once in a lifetime sighting

Use these people it's cheaper than others its organized. We saw a couple of whales,seals n we were on our way back n captain spotted another whale n he stopped so we can take more pictures n videos. People were great loved it thanks guys for making it memorable:)
We had a great experience. We saw quite a few whales. They came so close to the boat. It was amazing. There was this one whale they call “Goose “ and he put on quite a show. I highly recommend this excursion. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
With a naturalist like Savannah and a driver like Austin you simply can't do any better! Austin knew exactly where to take us to find the whales... and we saw many. Savannah's knowledge of whales was thorough and interesting. With the knowledge she gave us, everyone in board was able to find the whales! Both Austin and Savannah were welcoming, friendly, and great to be around for the 2 hours!
It was a beautiful weather day in Juneau that made this experience even better. Captain Jack and his staff did a great job finding whales in Auke Bay for us to see.

We saw whales!! Great experience. Saw four whales with two being a momma and calf. Also saw some sea lions.
Saw some whales but law does not allow to get too close so watch quickly and be ready if your taking pics. Great staff and loved Charlie the bus driver. He was worth the trip!
