We enjoyed our day at...
We enjoyed our day at Mount Vernon. Although it rained nonstop, we found fewer people at the estate than usual. Bobby, our driver, made the trip there a history lesson, and the cute jokes and puns brought smiles and chuckles from those of us in the van. Once on site, the docents gave wonderful insight into the later years of George and Martha Washington. The restaurant, with its cafeteria-style dining, was delicious and offered plenty of choices.

Angela was a great guide!...
Angela was a great guide! knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this tour of Mount Vernon! Although it was 105 degrees, there was cooling stations around and Water fountains! We also went to Old Alexandria, historic town!! Great time

Fantastic tour!
This was a great way to see both Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon all in one day, without the worry of figuring out transportation! Christopher shared his knowledge throughout the day and we learned a lot! So much better with a guide, than trying to figure it out on our own!

A great place to see, but still had to go through the ticket line.
Wow, what an amazing place to see. We still had to go through the ticket line, happy it wasnt very long. I thought buying the tour in advance kept us out of the ticket line, but it did not. Once inside we had to go to the Information booth to receive our map and details about the mansion tour. Even with all that, we all ( grandparents, adult children and young adult grandsons) loved it.
