Great way to experience Venice

This is a very fun and great way to see Venice, especially if you don't have a lot of time! Marianna was the best guide and her local knowledge was incredible. It was so neat getting to...

It was so neat getting to see Murano and Burano! We really enjoyed getting to experience Burano. It was very lovely and we enjoyed having free time to walk around and explore. I will say that we did not get to explore Murano. We watched the glass blowing demonstration and had a little time to look in the glass shop and that was it for Murano. We did enjoy the boat ride and getting to learn about the islands.

Just as advertised and worth it!

Our guide was wonderful! The history she told was very interesting and important for a better appreciation of what we saw, especially at the Basilica. The tour of the Palace is longer and be prepared for lots of stairs and standing for a long time, but it was fascinating. The gondola ride was very nice, about 25 minutes through neighborhoods as well as the Grand Canal. There 4-5 people in a gondola so be prepared for that.

Aurora was an Amazing tour guide! So helpful and welcoming when we first got there helping everyone get set up and ready to go. She was so easy to understand and seemed very happy to be doing her job! I’m so thankful we got in her group, she was also so helpful in helping me find a beautiful coat that was like the one she was wearing that she purchased on Burano. This was really an amazing and super fun activity…Thomas was wonderful and a great instructor! The restaurant was very clean and has been owned by the same family for 3 generations! We made raviolis, tagliatelle, and tiramisu…and enjoyed wonderful wines! Highly recommend this specific choice for a cooking class!!

Once we found where we were supposed to meet it was a great walking tour of Venice with a Gondola ride. Our guide was well versed on the of city of Venice as well as St Mark's, & Doges Palace. Watching the city of Venice wake up in the morning, seeing deliveries happen along the Grand Canal to hotels and restaurants for the day was awesome! We were given a couple breaks during our tour, time & return meeting places were very clear. The tour started promptly at 8:30 am and lasted approximately 5 hrs. We were glad we didn't have any other planned tours following. We felt this was a lovely tour to give you a peak into the story of Venice!

Clare was our guide and was a lot of fun as well as knowledgeable about St Mark’s and the Doges Palace. She had all of our names memorized before the tour started. We were 7 adult family members. I have some mobility issues and she made sure I was able to use the elevator. The headphones worked well for our small group tour to hear well.

Great too w/ a bit too much Doge

The tour was totally worth it. It covered alot of territory, focusing on St. Mark's Cathedral, Rialto Sq and Bridge, a gondala ride, and Doge's palace. The guide spoke very good english. The gondola ride was well assigned so usually a couple gets to sit in the love seat in the middle. The time in Doge's palace as about 45 minutes longer than it needed to be. The walk around was moderately limited but just getting to/from any tour in Venice pretty much requires the use of water-buses which gives you good views of the Venice shorelines and lots of opportunity to hop-off/hop-on. (Buy a longer pass ticket and its no-muss-no-fuss.
