Touring Venice with some spice!
Valentina was a great tour guide. What a fun and interesting experience. Learning about the history of Venice and touring the buildings where so much history was lived out in indescribable. The architecture is phenomenal, the city is beautiful and the tour was so much fun. Thank you Valentina!

Great tour
Amazing hidden gem tour in Venice. We saw things we never would have known about without our tour guide. We also loved that it was a small group with no headsets so we could clearly hear him and ask him lots of questions. Definitely would recommend for someone who wants to know about the history of Venice without going to the major touristy streets.

The best experience in Venice.
This was such an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip. We had the best host, her name is Beatrice Gamerini. She was so informal and welcoming. She made us feel extremely comfortable the whole trip and was very helpful throughout it all. I would absolutely recommend this activity for anyone visiting Venice. We’ll definitely be back to do it again.

Glass blowing is amazing and the kids enjoyed it.
It was amazing to see them blow the glass and make a horse out of glass in less than 2 minutes. The lace making was a little less impressive but still awesome. The tour guide was great and checked to make sure everyone was good several times throughout the trip. It was a little hard to keep the kids hands off of all of the very expensive glass pieces in the gift store and in the showroom.

The best bites are in Venice!
Our tour guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a proud Venetian. We had five stops on this tour. Each stop we had wine and a different style of Venetian food. By the third stop I was stuffed! Everything was delicious. We all got business cards for each stop so we could go back if we’d like. I went back to two of the stops during my stay because they were that great! This tour was also with a small group so it felt intimate, we interacted, and didn’t just get lost in the crowd. This tour was worth every penny. I would definitely do it again. Plus, all stops were locally owned.

Time & Money well spent! 3 boat rides & 2 demonstrations.
Time & money well spent. Glass blowing demonstration was thorough and exciting. Visitors sat in cushioned bleacher seats very close to artisans. Very informative. Lots of time in the galary. In Burrano, I needed to ask the guide to be shown the lace makers at work. Plenty of time to shop for linen clothing, Nice restaurants available. Great picture taking opportunities with colorful houses.

The one and only walking tour I recommend in Venice if you want a small group and a specialised route!
Majid has been a great host for us. We took the tour as a family of four and there were only 2 other ladies in our tour. Being a small group really made the conversations much more tailored and we were able to ask lots of questions.
Majid knows a lot about the history of the city, the architecture, the culture and ‘why’s of the city. Why are there many arcs between the buildings? Why are there small bowl-like structures by the wells? Why we don’t see many detached buildings? etc..
We learned so much not only about the attractions of Venice, but also the life in Venice.
The icing on the cake was a visit to the chocolate and lemoncello-tastings in the dedicated shops!!
I strongly suggest this tour and Majid as a guide. Make sure you pin each location visited as it is difficult to find later on as you’ll want to visit again!!

Tone was a great tour...
Tone was a great tour guide. He took us to some great places and explained the different types of food we were trying and made suggestions on what drinks (not included, purchased separately) would go well. We made 5 stops. Our family of 5 all really enjoyed the 1st stop at Alla Fonda which is a very rare occurrence for all of us to like something. And of course we all loved the last stop for gelato that is made right on location. I especially loved that Tone had a book he used to show us the history of how Venice started and the foundation system. I enjoyed this so much I thought about booking another food tour the next day, but we just didn't have enough time.

Eating and Drinking around Venice
We visited several establishments and enjoyed a variety of foods and wines. It was so fun walking around the city and our guide Marianna was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and gave us great tips for places to go after our tour. We ate plenty of food to make it a full meal. We highly recommend starting off with this tour to help acclimate to Venice.

Our guide was a local...
Our guide was a local college student who wasn't a Venetian native, but was still very familiar with the area and could share stories and insights into the sites. He helped accommodate my elderly mother quite well, and we were able to enjoy our own pace around the city. Overall a very nice experience!

Venice Walking Tour with Jahdi
Had a great introductory tour with Jahdi (Jade) who provided a walking tour through Venice, commencing at the University district, in the west of the city, winding our way through lesser known parts to the main sites. Jahdi had great communication skills, and provided us with excellent information, including the history of the city, how the buildings floated on the clay foundations, the water and sanitary challenges, and the political landscape of Venice- really brought the city and its beautiful architecture to life, would thoroughly recommend this trip to any visitors.
