Since 2019, we are the first to offer Vernazza an experience dedicated to preparing pesto in the mortar, combining cooking, territory, conviviality, and tasting. You will learn to prepare pesto by hand, using selected ingredients. The experience takes place in a typical Cinque Terre cellar, with stone and wood, reminiscent of the atmosphere of old Vernazza. 12:30 - PESTO CLASS We will start with wine, focaccia, cheeses, and extra virgin olive oils. You will prepare your pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. The pesto will then be used to dress the gnocchi which you will eat with a third wine. This sunset boat tour to see the Cinque Terre villages from the water is a must see. Our experienced real captain had local knowledge and memories from when he was a boy growing up in the area. You will see each unique village for what it offers and have spectacular views basked in golden light as the sun slowly sets behind you. Drinks are offered and a swim in a pristine little bay with a sandy bottom and clear water. Take a towel and something warm for the ride home. Do yourself a favour and do something like this while you're in this world heritage site.

We had a really enjoyable time on the Cinque Terre Hybrid Boat Trip from Monterosso. The crew (Luca & Eleanor, I think) were excellent. Luca shared stories about the various villages when we stopped. Eleanor keep us supplied with drinks & took photos and generally made sure everyone as having a good time. The views from the boat are fantastic and the swim stop was fun too! Recommended !

Time of My Life

Elizabeth and Antonio (bus driver)!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!! This was my absolute favorite day in all of my time in Venice. Genuinely friendly tour guides, the most beautiful views I've ever seen, EVER, and a highly informative, safe adventure. Because im traveling solo, Elizabeth made sure to take extra care, constantly asking if there was anything I needed in order to feel comfortable and taken care of and watched over. Thank you so much for that Elizabeth. This adventure was absolutely an experience that I will never forget, and I couldn't be happier about choosing this excursion. 20/10 for sure recommended!!!!!!!

Yummy pesto

Fun activity to do with family. I make pesto at home but still learned alot about how it is made in the region and came away with some hints that I will use. Local wine and cheese was also nice addition to class. Would recommend class to anyone wanting to know more about region. You also do not have to know anything about cooking to have fun in the class.

Our tour was amazing!...

Our tour was amazing! David did a beautiful job at navigating between each stop and making sure we were all informed and taken care of. He gave us little tidbits about each location, but also allowed us time to explore on our own, and even gave us a special experience by calling ahead for a lunch reservation and had cold prosecco waiting in the car after a difficult hike up a massive hill! There were 6 people in our tour. There is a bit of walking needed in this tour, and lots of stairs, so just be informed about that if you have mobility concerns. Overall an absolutely lovely day!

A great way to see the 5 towns from the water, and get a different perspective from being on land. Sea was a little choppy but the captain navigated it well so it was a comfortable trip. Extremely friendly guide and captain, generous snacks and beverages.

Stress free way to see Cinque Terre

Beautiful views. Be aware that walking is uneven and there are some steep inclines if you have any concerns with mobility. We loved that we got to experience the train and a boat as we went to the various destination’s. Our tour guide Veronica was knowledgeable about the area and we had just the right amount of time at each location to get a feel of the area and a little walking around on our own. Great way to see places if you don’t have more than a couple days in the area.

Best it could be under weather circumstances

Our guide Loradana did everything in her power to get us through the day with the horrific weather. Unfortunately we didn’t see much because if an orange alert but I must say she was amazing. We will definitely be back and will book this excursion. Hopefully we can have her again!

relaxing and refreshing with great views

One of the best things I’ve done on this trip! Highly recommend if you like being in/on the water!! A super chill, relaxing boat trip to see all 5 cities from sea. Captain was a local and gave good history. Nice, long refreshing swim. Also snorkel but not much fish to see. Local snacks, focaccia… (not the usual bag if chips you get in US for a snack). So relaxing and refreshing with great views. Calm seas that day. Would do again!! Matt 1&2 were great!! Pickup at main harbor though don’t have a billboard sign. Look for blue boat. They respond to texts if lost/confused.

This was one of our favorite nights during our trip to Italy! The crew were friendly and they made the most delicious dinner with several courses including dessert and drinks. Best Way to Spend the Evening in 5terre!

Incredible views you can only see from the water. It was a long tour, but no surprises and it was worth the money. The boat wasn’t overcrowded, there was a nice selection of beverages, and pro tip: when you get the option to go swimming in the gorgeous turquoise water… say yes!
