Since 2019, we are the first to offer Vernazza an experience dedicated to preparing pesto in the mortar, combining cooking, territory, conviviality, and tasting. You will learn to prepare pesto by hand, using selected ingredients. The experience takes place in a typical Cinque Terre cellar, with stone and wood, reminiscent of the atmosphere of old Vernazza. 12:30 - PESTO CLASS We will start with wine, focaccia, cheeses, and extra virgin olive oils. You will prepare your pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. The pesto will then be used to dress the gnocchi which you will eat with a third wine. We will conclude with limoncello and chocolate. 3:00 PM or 5:30 PM – PESTO SNACK CLASS After a taste of wine, you will prepare the pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. Time in Montorosso on the water

Was a great tour. Not sure of exactly where to meet the boat as lots of other tours leaving from the harbour. But did receive a message to say red Boat and I had a missed call on my phone from Bruno the tour guide. He has a skipper but was a bit concerned as he was drinking beer while working. Also no safety instructions for life jackets 🧥. Otherwise was a good small tour.

Fun Experience

We had terrible weather in Vernazza and found this activity just steps from our Airbnb. We had so much fun sitting with other travelers and guided by our hosts Jenny and Luca. We enjoyed several wines and snacks of cheeses and breads while she guided us through pesto making. It was so fun. Can’t wait to make it when I get home!

Fantastic Cinque Terre Boat Tour!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this Cinque Terre boat tour! We brought our two teenagers, ages 15 and 19, and it was such a wonderful experience for the whole family. I’m personally afraid of open water, so I was a little nervous about getting in to swim, but the captain made me feel completely safe and comfortable—and I’m so glad I did it! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and both the captain and guide were so friendly and welcoming. They knew great spots to swim but to also capture the best photos. The snacks and Prosecco were also a great touch! It was the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, swimming, relaxation, and learning more about the Cinque Terre. A memorable experience for all of us, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. My daughter and the Captain were both celebrating their birthdays that day! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Day, beautiful towns, enough time in each stop to see everything if you keep moving. The seafood at the restaurant was by far the best I’ve ever eaten. The lemonade in Monterosso, fried calamari and the town from the movie Luca were their favorites Nathan, grazie mille!

A good way to get to see...

A good way to get to see the area in one day. Our driver provided facts about the area during the drive and was available throughout the day for questions or recommendations. It’s nice having someone to take care of the train and ferry tickets so you can enjoy exploring the villages. Pick and drop was nice and smooth. Air conditioned van was nice given the heat.

This was a highlight of our trip! The boat was clean and spacious with a full group of 10, everyone still had plenty of room to spread out. Ester was a wonderful captain. Rocco was fantastic, making sure drinks were full and graciously taking photos of each group at every town. The highlight was the two swimming stops and of course the magnificent sunset behind Monterosso. Don’t hesitate to book! This tour, boat and hospitality far exceeded the day trip with did with a different company! Bravo and grazie!

Loved this tour! I have...

Loved this tour! I have trouble walking and do not hike. I always wanted to see Cinque Terre and this was the best way to do it. There is a bathroom on the boat as well, which is convenient for visitors who have bowel disease. The boat is large enough to be stable and although I often suffer from sea sickness, I was fine. The swimming was amazing!! The appetizers and drinks were perfect. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

Jacob was the best tour guide!

The second stop has the best beaches if you’re going to swim. You only have an hour though. It was a beautiful experience but very crowded. The tour was worth the money if you have a good tour guide who can explain the sites on the 2 1/2 hour drive to the first town.

An unforgettable sunset cruise

Everything about this experience was great. The initial communication, the personalized email message, and the meet-and-greet were all excellent. The information shared by our captain (I'm terrible with names, but I'm pretty sure it was Franco) made the trip even more enjoyable. He even dropped us off in Monterosso, where we were staying, which saved us a train ride back. The drinks were flowing throughout the cruise, and although it was a small group of only eight people, everyone was friendly, having a great time, and enjoying getting to know one another. I highly recommend this company and this experience. In my opinion, if you don't do a sunset cruise, you miss so much of what makes this beautiful part of the world so special. Thanks to everyone involved—we had a blast and took some amazing photos that will last a lifetime!

Best Way to Spend the Evening in 5terre!

Incredible views you can only see from the water. It was a long tour, but no surprises and it was worth the money. The boat wasn’t overcrowded, there was a nice selection of beverages, and pro tip: when you get the option to go swimming in the gorgeous turquoise water… say yes!
