Since 2019, we are the first to offer Vernazza an experience dedicated to preparing pesto in the mortar, combining cooking, territory, conviviality, and tasting. You will learn to prepare pesto by hand, using selected ingredients. The experience takes place in a typical Cinque Terre cellar, with stone and wood, reminiscent of the atmosphere of old Vernazza. 12:30 - PESTO CLASS We will start with wine, focaccia, cheeses, and extra virgin olive oils. Fun Experience

We had terrible weather in Vernazza and found this activity just steps from our Airbnb. We had so much fun sitting with other travelers and guided by our hosts Jenny and Luca. A wonderful day exploring the beauties of Cinque Terre

Spent a wonderful day exploring the wonderful Cinque Terre and making new friends. Matteo and Israel, crew of the boat, made sure the experience was unique. The trip was smooth with Matteo explaining interesting things about each village and Israel was in charge of wonderful music. We stopped in a wonderful spot for a swim and was lots of fun. Snacks and drinks made the trip fun and brought everyone e together for a memorable day Grazie Mille ragazzi!

Worth the time

Doing both of these things ALL in one day, makes for a VERY LONG DAY!! If you are limited on time as we were, grin and bear it!! If you plan on going for a swim, take your swim shoes! Their “beaches” are more shell/sm rock than sand!! Our guide, Nathan Smith, made this trip very enjoyable! He is also very knowledgeable about the areas we visited! And he gave everyone helpful tips when taking pictures

A good way to get to see...

A good way to get to see the area in one day. Our driver provided facts about the area during the drive and was available throughout the day for questions or recommendations. It’s nice having someone to take care of the train and ferry tickets so you can enjoy exploring the villages. Pick and drop was nice and smooth. Air conditioned van was nice given the heat.

Loved this tour! I have trouble walking and do not hike. I always wanted to see Cinque Terre and this was the best way to do it. There is a bathroom on the boat as well, which is convenient for visitors who have bowel disease. The boat is large enough to be stable and although I often suffer from sea sickness, I was fine. The swimming was amazing!! The appetizers and drinks were perfect. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

The highlight of our trip to Cinque Terre!

Our sunset cruise was, without question, one of the most memorable experiences of our entire Italy trip. With only our family of five and one other family on board, the experience was intimate, relaxed, and never felt crowded. Our guide, Eleonora, shared the history, legends, and unique character of each of the five villages of Cinque Terre, along with recommendations for what to see and do in each one. She also went above and beyond by taking countless family photos for us, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment. Our captain, Gianni (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly!), was incredibly skilled and made us feel completely safe on the water. We own a boat at home, so my husband was thrilled when Gianni invited him to take the helm for a few minutes and shared some of the navigation rules unique to the Ligurian coast. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected highlight. Both Eleonora and Gianni spoke excellent English, were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing their beautiful coastline with us. The cruise included Prosecco, white wine, limoncello, water, soda, chips, delicious pesto focaccia, and cookies. We stopped twice for swimming, and they provided pool noodles and snorkeling goggles. My husband hadn't even packed a swimsuit, but after seeing how inviting the water was, Gianni happily loaned him a pair of swim trunks so he could join us. That small gesture perfectly captures how accommodating and generous they were throughout the experience. From the breathtaking scenery and swimming in the Ligurian Sea to the incredible hospitality, this was a 10/10 experience. If you're visiting Cinque Terre, don't hesitate—book this cruise. It was worth every euro and will be one of our favorite memories for years to come.

Jacob was the best tour guide!

The second stop has the best beaches if you’re going to swim. You only have an hour though. It was a beautiful experience but very crowded. The tour was worth the money if you have a good tour guide who can explain the sites on the 2 1/2 hour drive to the first town.

An unforgettable sunset cruise

Everything about this experience was great. The initial communication, the personalized email message, and the meet-and-greet were all excellent. The information shared by our captain (I'm terrible with names, but I'm pretty sure it was Franco) made the trip even more enjoyable. He even dropped us off in Monterosso, where we were staying, which saved us a train ride back. The drinks were flowing throughout the cruise, and although it was a small group of only eight people, everyone was friendly, having a great time, and enjoying getting to know one another. I highly recommend this company and this experience. In my opinion, if you don't do a sunset cruise, you miss so much of what makes this beautiful part of the world so special. Thanks to everyone involved—we had a blast and took some amazing photos that will last a lifetime!

Best Way to Spend the Evening in 5terre!

Incredible views you can only see from the water. It was a long tour, but no surprises and it was worth the money. The boat wasn’t overcrowded, there was a nice selection of beverages, and pro tip: when you get the option to go swimming in the gorgeous turquoise water… say yes!

Excellent Cinque Terre boat tour

Sarah was an excellent tour guide and matched our pace and interests very well. She gave us interesting facts and insights about all of the Cinque Terre villages/towns and stopped so we could snorkel for a bit during the tour. She provided us with white wine, pesto, focaccia, and fruit to snack on and it was a beautiful introduction to the Liguria region.
