Great day in the rain and shine

Anna was such a delight to wander around Venice with. Each stop was delicious and I we got a great overview of what type of cuisine to look for (and which to avoid) in the city. We booked the Venice Like a Local: Food, Wine & Spritz / Cicchetti & Wine Tour of Venice with the Intrepid Urban Adventures team, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our time in Venice. Our guide, Alessia, was spectacular! She was warm, engaging, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel less like a formal tour and more like spending an evening in Venice with a wonderful local friend. The cicchetti, wine, spritz, and different stops were fantastic, and we loved experiencing Venice in such an authentic and relaxed way. What made the evening even more special was our group. By complete coincidence, a couple we had met and really enjoyed on our cruise was also on the tour! The other three couples were equally delightful, and the entire group connected almost immediately. In fact, we were all having such a wonderful time together that when the tour ended, our entire group continued on to another location and spent the rest of the evening together! That says so much about the atmosphere Alessia created. Wonderful food, great wine and spritz, terrific company, lots of laughter, and a truly memorable evening in Venice. Sometimes a tour becomes much more than the places you visit or the food you taste—it’s the people and the memories you make along the way. Fantastic tour. Met some really nice people. Lots of food and delicious wine. Even a little extra surprise at the end. The tour guide was enthusiastic and friendly. I think this tour should be for people of drinking age/adults. We had a family on our tour with 3 children. It would’ve been nice to sit by others at our dinner to talk about the wine and food.

Very nice experience. Different types of food. we could not find the location. It’s very difficult for us. The tour guide waited for us as long as she could try to direct us all along the way we eventually met up at the second stop. It was all completely positive experience once we got there.

A must do in Venice!

My husband and I booked this tour while on our honeymoon. We were paired with another lovely couple and our tour guide, Greta, was very knowledgeable and so sweet. It was really great to be able to experience Venice with a local's perspective and she took us to a few spots we never would have ventured to on our own. Such a highlight of our time in Venice! Our tour guide was enthusiastic and made the evening so enjoyable. We also had a great group of new friends by the end of the evening.
