Easy walking tour
Venice is complicated to navigate on your own. Navigation tools don’t work well as there are few streets and many bridges and pathways that make it difficult to connect. This walking tour took all the stress away! In three hours that weren’t that tour guide took us to beautiful places that weren’t that crowded.

Good tour
Very good tour and guide. I learned a lot. I have only 2 suggestions for improvement:
- The guide should carry a more visible flag to help the group follow her around in the crowds.
- Both Viator & City Wonders send too many email and text reminders prior to the tour. Please only send one, unless there's a need to communicate some change.

Great tour. Amazing food!
There was so much food and wine, all of it delicious. Our guide was Georgia, who was friendly, funny, and informative. We had a good group who all enjoyed the tastings, and Georgia supplied alternatives for those who couldn't eat some foods so nobody missed out. Highly recommended!

Perfect morning in Venice
Doge’s palace and the Basilica were gorgeous and the early access and skip the line was really a treat to avoid the heavy crowds. Paola, our guide, truly made it a special experience with her knowledge and friendly demeanor. She was lovely, and I will never forget this tour!

Murano and Burano Island visits
This was a really lovely and interesting trip to the Islands of Murano and Burano. Our tour guide Nicole was very knowledgable about the places we visited and she took time to answer all our questions - her local knowledge was particularly helpful. There was free time on each Island which we really enjoyed and we had very enjoyable walks around both Islands as well as time for coffee and snacks. We enjoyed both the local demonstrations - glass making on Murano and lace making on Burano. The boat was lovely with leather seats which were very comfortable.

Our tour guide was very...
Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited (Doges Palace and St. Marks Basilica). She also shared interesting info about the painters who created many of the art on the walls and ceilings, and about the materials and processes used in the building and creation of both places.

Jada was excellent at...
Jada was excellent at explaining everything along the way from history to architecture to culture etc. She also spoke English very well and the walking pace was very good (not too quick not too slow). My only comments for improvement is that the audio machine/earpieces had trouble connecting to Jada’s microphone if you were standing more than 15 or so feet away, but if you were near then it was fine. I would recommend this tour if you enjoy learning about Venice.

Must Do!
We had the best time with Tommaso on our tour! I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Venice. You get to experience the real parts of the city with a unique local perspective. Tons of history and Tommaso was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Small disappointment but overall excellent!
Marco was a wonderful tour guide, so much information and a good sense of humor. Doges palace was fascinating! The only disappointment was our gondola ride. Our gondolier really didn’t speak to us at all and we kind of jokingly asked if he was going to sing to us and he just said NO and then didn’t tell to us or tell us any information on the ride at all. The gondola ride was very short also - not as expected but the tour overall was really fantastic.

Loved the Food and talks.
Its well worth it. The guide was fun (Ana, loads of commentry and fun to be with) and told us all about the different foods at each stop. Different choices available to suit your tastes. We did 5 stops and one extra with the artichoke man, very interesting watching him work and her telling us about what they make with all the parts. Fish market was amazing to look around. I would say go early on in the day to miss the crowds and the fish market closes at 1pm so if you go later you wont see it on the tour. And definitely would be crazy on a Saturday with the weekend visitors. Lots to see on the tour and finished with superb Gelato. Cant recommend it enough. Interesting stories about the doorway and the bricks you see in the pictures.

Wonderful 2 hours
Our walking tour was absolutely brilliant—Alice was amazing. She gave us a unique perspective on two sides of Venice: the modern city and how locals navigate everyday life, as well as the grandeur of the 16th-century capital of the Venetian Republic.
The tour was fun, educational, and definitely not boring! I would happily come back again.
As a local, Alice also gave us plenty of great advice on where to go and where to eat, and her recommendations were excellent. As an art historian, I especially appreciated her insights, particularly when she pointed out where we could find original paintings by Titian.

Great personal feeling tour!
Great walking tour to see different areas of the city starting in the university area, moving through San Paolo, and ending in the most famous San Marco’s square. I took the tour during my first full day and really enjoyed learning more about the history of Venice on the tour. Alice was a fantastic tour guide, and she was friendly, kind, and informative answering all our questions and giving recommendations. We had three people in our group which gave the tour a great personal feel. Highly recommend this tour!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
